Really very good food, the Curryjack Special tastes better to me than most of what the competition has to offer. There are enough vegan options, but sometimes incomprehensible negligence, e.g. no vegan dressing for the vegan bowls (that was the main reason for deducting a star). It's nice to sit here, but it's a bit small and not meant to stay forever. Prices are reasonable compared to similar stores and relative to the location.

I went to City Grill for the first time today and had a great, relaxing visit. You are greeted very friendly and ordering doesn't take long. The Taxi Platter was just perfect for my taste. Price with drink around €16, absolutely okay. Not cheap, not expensive, just a decent, reasonable price. I would love to come back!

The employees are actually always very nice, so there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the amount of food in the kebab varies greatly depending on the employee, and is sometimes worth at most half of what you paid for. The worst thing, though, is: Eaten it 30-60 minutes ago and suddenly I get diarrhea... It's not my usual diet. It's exemplary and well-tolerated by my stomach. It can't be fat or dairy products either (see above). The only possibility: Something in/on the lahmacun kebab was spoiled...

It's the best doner kebab I've ever eaten, and the sauces are amazing, it's a taste you'll be addicted to.

We ate there with 11 people and it exceeded our expectations. The food was very tasty and there were very large portions for a small price. The service was very nice and everything was clarified well in advance. I can recommend this small but still very cozy restaurant.

We drove to Essen specifically to eat good fries and found ourselves standing in front of a closed shop on a Sunday in -3 degrees Celsius, even though it was supposed to be open until 7 p.m. No thanks. I won't go here again.

We were there as Groupon customers. Staff very friendly. Food, we had currywurst and Jack the Ripper, adequate in quantity and tasted very good and beautifully presented. Waiting time of around 15 minutes was completely fine, as almost all tables were occupied and sales were also taking place outside of the building. The only drawback: the seating. There is a table with 6 or eight chairs and two tables with stools, although it wasn't warm enough for us, which is of course a personal feeling. We had to eat with jackets on. Of course everything looks different when the temperatures rise again. In any case, you can eat deliciously.

The only thing that's really good about the shop is everything that has to do with the kebab. But the burgers are by far the worst I've ever eaten and I don't recommend them to anyone
