I can wholeheartedly recommend it 💖 The ambiance is unique, as are the rooms. The food was very, very tasty and generously portioned. The cocktails were also delicious and unique in their taste. The service was great; everyone was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back ☺️

A little excursion into African cuisine Reason & expectation We wanted to try something new again - this time it should be an African restaurant. Kilimanjaro seemed promising: traditional food, themed decor, a touch of Africa in the middle of the city. Ambiance The restaurant is decorated thematically, you can tell that straight away. But although there is a sense of attempt to create an African flair, the overall ambience seemed rather plain and simple. There was a bit of a lack of atmosphere, of details, of that certain something that takes you into another world for an evening. Food & Drinks We were treated to traditional dishes - the food was delicious and we enjoyed it. I particularly liked that the beer was served in a traditional vessel - a little unusual at first, almost strange, but looking back it was a pleasant part of the overall experience. The accompanying bread wasn't really our thing - a purely subjective feeling, because it wasn't bad at all. It just didn't appeal to us in terms of taste. service A real highlight of the evening: The service was consistently friendly, attentive and courteous - there's really nothing to complain about. You felt well looked after without it seeming intrusive. Conclusion The visit to Kilimanjaro was interesting and definitely something different. Culinarily recommended if you fancy authentic dishes. However, emotionally I had hoped for more of this “Africa feeling” – a little more warmth, more colors, more liveliness perhaps. So it remains a nice, well-rounded evening with good food and great service, but without the lasting magic.
