The food was really good, especially the appetizers and desserts — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and modern. Staff was helpful and kind. The only downside was a bit of a wait between courses, but overall, I left happy and satisfied. Would definitely return.
We've been ordering here for many years when we're in a hurry for dinner and haven't been disappointed yet.
No matter whether it's schnitzel with fries, kebab, pasta dishes or pizza, it all tastes fantastic.
My husband and his men's regulars' group were there recently for a few hours and were very satisfied. There are large portions for little money and the service is always nice and friendly.
Fantastic home cooking, friendly service, and... always under control from the boss, who lingers briefly at each table and then returns to his work in the kitchen. Gladly again
We were in Mühlhausen today and discovered the restaurant by chance. We enjoyed the daily special of goulash and two dumplings as well as coleslaw. We were warmly welcomed and the food was on the table after an incredibly short time. The price of €9.80 was hard to believe. One point deducted for the fact that it was quite dirty under our table, crumbs etc. You can work on the ambience with few resources and make it more comfortable.
All the best to the team
Best Vietnamese I've ever been to. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Lots of choice, especially for vegans and vegetarians: there is tofu, sides of vegan chicken and vegan duck. Ambiance is really atmospheric. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
I had reserved a table for 7 people at “Schnitzel Mania” for my small birthday group.
However, the first course to the buffet was disappointing: carelessly and lifelessly prepared - and the pan with the "normal" schnitzels was already empty.
The selection of starters was also very clear. The bread salad tasted very good - at least to me.
As a filling accompaniment to the schnitzel variations, we had the choice between fiery-spicy (!) potato wedges, potato gratin and dry baguette slices from the starter menu.
Neither potatoes, croquettes, pasta, fries or anything similar were offered.
Warm vegetables were completely missing - apart from the cocktail tomatoes and their stalks in the sauces or as decoration on the potato wedges.
There were several variations of sauces, but what to do with them? On the vegetarian celery schnitzel or the schnitzel roulades? As already written above, various filling supplements were missing.
The "Viennese style" schnitzels were refilled after our specific request, but they weren't as tasty as you would expect schnitzels in a good restaurant.
For dessert there were several variations of cream pudding. All of them (!) were bland in taste - they uniformly tasted like NOTHING. We wondered whether they were sugar-free and only made with water instead of milk.
Overall, the advertised schnitzel buffet “Schnitzel Mania” had at best a canteen feel for a hefty price of €27.90 per person. P
The absolute highlight left us frozen at home when we took a closer look at the receipt - which wasn't really legible in the darkness of the dining room (gray thermal paper and mini-writing): The service had charged the buffet price 7 (!) times, even though we only showed up with 6 people due to illness and I had already pointed this out when we arrived.
We wanted to give the Logenhaus a second chance with the schnitzel buffet, as we were already disappointed with the value for money of the a la carte dishes last summer.
So my or our conclusion: never again Logenhaus!
Addendum:
I/we cannot understand Mr. Bernd Schmidt's positive review of Schnitzel-Mania. Did he and his family have a different buffet than us last night? 🤔
I'm not the kind of person who writes a bad review because of small inadequacies - then I tend to avoid one.
Come on, the food is good too, although I would only go here for lunch, the rest is rather simple and classic. Ambiance is totally okay, has something of a modern Citizen King.
