Service food everything as it should be again

I'm always amazed at how different people's experiences at the same restaurant can differ... We entered the very quiet dining room and were, so to speak, left standing without being greeted until we were told that we could take a seat at the back. Unfortunately, although I tried hard to smile, it was met with no response. So we continue to keep a good face on the evil game. After ordering (we were advised against the grilled trout because it was too bitter, we should rather have the crispy fried trout, which we did) there were still no smiles, no friendly nods, only long faces from the waitresses ( It's a shame actually, the cheerful yellow on the walls didn't really want to be reflected back). The food was just as disappointing. The boiled potatoes tasted old, as did the broccoli, and worst of all was the trout. Contrary to the recommendations, the trout was not fried crispy. In addition, the trout meat was yellowish and turned into a light brown, it tasted very musty and smelled accordingly. Personally, I have never eaten such a bad trout that seemed to be competing with the potatoes for maximum age. This completely spoiled our appetite, so the trout remained more or less untouched on the plate. We continued to be deliberately ignored from time to time. After a while we asked for the bill, the plate of trout was looked at blankly, we asked to take a look at the trout, it shouldn't have been served at all, it should have been obvious straight away that it was simply inedible, bad and old. The waiter left without a word and came back with the bill. Yes, we should pay for the bad trout. The full price. Although it was very clear that this was not eaten (and could be if you value your own health). Mistakes can occur. But serving such food with such unfriendliness, not even verbally apologizing for the spoiled fish and then charging the full price, unfortunately shows very questionable gastronomic ethics.

The Landhaus Frank is great. The food is very rich and a lot. But it tastes so delicious. We were there today for the communion celebration and there was a menu. I had salmon with asparagus and basmati rice. Totally delicious. Before that there was an asparagus cream soup, which was also very tasty and recommended. The dessert was a French chocolate soufflé with a soft center with vanilla ice cream and a sauce. It was very tasty. The service was also very friendly and was able to answer questions. Thank you very much for that.

Always enjoy eating out with family at the country house.

Really nice restaurant with an adjoining celebration room and good food for years. Ideal for family celebrations, small playground in front of the door, beer garden and plenty of parking. Our guests and we were thrilled by the good food and the nice, good service. We would celebrate there again and again.

I can't fully understand the very good reviews. Although the menu hasn't been developed for what feels like 15 years, the food tastes really good. The portions are also plentiful. Unfortunately, the good impression of the food and the inn is completely overshadowed by the rude service staff. The female service staff in particular are hard to beat when it comes to rudeness! I have never experienced such a harsh sound. And so, it's hard to believe, both the initially mushy answer to our request to order drinks before the meal and the explanation that there was no medium water due to the upcoming company vacation were the less impolite situations. The worst thing, however, was that a mother with a two-month-old baby was sent out into the cold, even though her partner was briefly away at the time and the car was therefore inaccessible. The country house with mother and child would not have had any work. Nobody would have disturbed the staff's clean-up work either. Quote from the female service worker: “It all depends on my break.” When we finally left 20 minutes later, the staff came out of the country house. We would therefore not have shortened the staff's break in any way. We can therefore not recommend the Landhaus Frank in any way due to the service staff. Just the tone between service and kitchen with expressions such as: B. "Shut up" show little professionalism.

We recommend. Friendly and attentive service and a menu that leaves nothing to be desired and has something for every taste. Price performance definitely fits. See you next time.

The food from the pick up menu has been great every time. Super tasty, hot and large portions! Even our special requests (changed supplements) were carefully taken into account. The food is packed in large warming boxes that are returned in the next few days.

We are regular guests here. We think the food is very good at pleasant and fair prices. It tasted very good again. We'd love to come back.

Ob als privater Gast mit meiner Gattin oder als Veranstalter einer großen Feier, das Landhaus Frank erfüllt alle Wünsche und Erwartungen. Zum Ball der Kirmesbürgermeister und -gemeinden ein solch perfektes Buffet für mehr als 200 Personen zu liefern und zu betreuen - Respekt an alle Beteiligten. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch im Restaurant und noch viel mehr auf den nächsten Ball, der vom Landhaus Frank bekocht wird

Wir reisen nicht umsonst von Eschwege an, um in den Genuss dieser stets äußerst schmackhaften Qualität des Essens zu kommen. Landhaus Frank zählt zu den Favouriten unserer Restaurantliste. Top Küche, auch für das Auge. Top Service.

Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal Ihr Restaurant besucht. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Menü schmeckte hervorragend. Eine freundliche Bedienung rundet den guten Eindruck ab.

Sieht mir nach vorher fertig gebraten und in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt. Die Soße war versalzen und an der einen Seite heiß und auf der anderen Seite kalt. Mikrowelle! Das Fleisch war trocken, und tot gebraten zudem noch kalt. Wir werden nicht mehr in dieses Restaurant gehen.

Wie immer sehr lecker und gemütlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gute Hausmannskost zu fairen Preisen. Besonders die Roulade ist zu empfehlen.

Waren zur Familienfeier, Essen vom Buffet war lecker,nette Bedienung. Ambiente hätte mir besser gefallen, wenn man die Tische aneinander hätte stellen können. Das ist mir bei solchen Feiern sehr wichtig, aber auf Grund der Tischformen war das nicht möglich.
