The restaurant was closed.
You can simply make a reservation, but upon arrival it was said that there would either be a new restaurant or that they would be renovating themselves.... Maybe put it on the website and turn off your reservation system.
Pick-up and delivery possible.
Four of us ate at Gecco. There is nothing to complain about in terms of service and ambience. One of the best locations that Nordhorn has to offer, especially in summer, especially for sitting outside.
Now to eat. That wasn't exhilarating. So starters there was bread vs butter. The bread tasted old and was very tough (it would have been better to put it back in the oven or something), the butter was too hard (wait 5 minutes, then it worked) so the main course was Chicken Alfredo, the taste was okay. The noodles were only lukewarm and the chicken was very dry. The portion for this price (€22) is far too small.
Next time I'll probably eat somewhere else beforehand and just enjoy the drinks at Gecco.
We were there yesterday, April 16th. Although we had to wait about 40 minutes for our order, I have to give a huge compliment to the staff. Despite the insane crowd, the staff remained friendly and did their best to handle the situation.
We won't be ordering from there again!
The order wasn't checked before departure, which led to mix-ups and forgotten items. Additionally, the food tasted watery and like tomato sauce that had been left standing for too long. A subsequent delivery resulted in an extreme wait time, and the packaging was full of other leftovers (e.g., salad when an order was left without it).
I was absolutely thrilled! The pizza not only tasted good, it tasted very good – really tasty and topped with high-quality ingredients. The base was pleasantly thin and yet wonderfully crispy - exactly how a perfect pizza should be. I would also like to particularly highlight the staff: not just friendly, but super friendly and attentive. You feel completely comfortable. Clear recommendation – I’ll definitely be back!
My favorite place for 20 years now. The food always tastes good, everything is fresh and I have never been disappointed here.
Hopefully many more years with you.
We drank different beers, all of which tasted very good.
The Brauhausburger was well served, so it looked good and tasted good too.
In my opinion, the Jägerschnitzel came into the pan frozen and in our case was in the pan or frying pan for far too long. The edges were completely burnt. You can get something like this at every chip shop. Unfortunately the schnitzel had to go back to the kitchen. The consistency of the second schnitzel was ok.
The hunter's sauce looked pretty good, but to my surprise it was completely tasteless. There's probably a lack of a good cook in the house here.
The service was very nice and dogs were allowed.
