Great shop, the food is always freshly prepared but the opening hours aren't very long in the evening.

Super welcoming, smiling, patient and kind, the waitress made a lot of effort to understand us and it was delicious the salad the burger the sauerkraut a delight and what can we say about the beer 😁thank you for this great family moment in a place where we feel well decorated in the old fashioned way we love it

The ambience is good, as is the service. The food was mixed: the asparagus cream soup was good, the house recommendation, tagliatelle with chanterelles, was not at all. I.e. passable without chanterelles.

The Gasthaus zum Roten Ochsen is a traditional family business. It is decorated in a traditional, rustic manner and has a cozy atmosphere. The menu includes regional classics. We've been there twice now and we really enjoyed everything. A piano player played both times during our visits.

3 stars – Great pizza, poor service, little atmosphere The Neapolitan pizzas are really top – visually beautiful, the toppings are exceptional and of high quality. If you're looking for classics like salami or ham, you won't find what you're looking for here, but there are exciting, more upscale combinations. The ambience is okay, but not special - it seems as if hardly anything has changed since the last tenant change. Unfortunately, it was quite cold inside both times and there was an unpleasant draft. What is unfortunately not convincing at all: the service. Despite the low workload, he is extremely inattentive. You are not asked if you want anything else, you have to actively ask for the card and then wait until someone comes. This was the same on both visits. We probably won't eat on site anymore, but we'll take pizza to go - any time! A little note to the operators: Please take more care of your service, make the interior a little more comfortable and warmer. Maybe you can also add one or two seasonal dishes to the menu - meat dishes or a small weekly menu would be a great addition.

The service was attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. Both the organization and the atmosphere rounded off the special occasion perfectly. Highly recommended. A traditional menu “like before” with everything your heart desires. The prices are moderate and the portions are generous. Since our children have celiac disease and rely on gluten-free food, we were very pleasantly surprised that there was cordon bleu, schnitzel and pasta for us. We also received very good advice in this regard. We'd love to come back there. Thanks.
