The best Burgis in SM
Unfortunately it's a thing of the past. I was there yesterday and ordered a chicken burger and a kebab, both without tomatoes.
At home I saw that both had tomatoes but there was no cheese on the burger, what the heck? The kebab was so small and moderately filled that it would have taken me 3 to get full. In addition, an older colleague of the operator simply smoked his cigarettes inside while the food was being prepared, hence the diarrhea?
Unfortunately no longer recommended, that was too much yesterday
Food Connection is located near Johannes Keppler Platz and can therefore compete with some kebab restaurants in the area. Due to the somewhat generic name and the inconspicuous facade, you can't immediately tell that there is kebab here. But it's pretty comfortable inside, there's some seating and the smell of grease and snacks is limited.
The waitress was very nice and attentive when I was there. I had falafel in bread and fries. What's very cool: in addition to the normal flatbread, you can also choose homemade bread, which tastes really, really delicious. The selection of sauces is also quite extensive. I had spicy and garlic - both were delicious. Spicy could have been a little spicier, but overall it was good.
I really liked the salad. I always think it's nice when tomatoes and cucumbers are separate because I don't like tomatoes that much, but I do like cucumbers. Everything was fresh and well cut and the fact that there were a few thin carrot strips in there was a nice idea to make the whole thing even crunchier. However, the bread was very well filled and due to its round shape it was hardly possible to eat the thing properly without causing a massacre. The falafel tasted like those rather tasteless and unspectacular billo falafel that you can find in many kebab shops, but they were perfectly fried.
The fries also had exactly the right consistency, were well salted and were a bit thinner, but very tasty. I had nothing to complain about here, except that I have to get into the habit of specifically ordering a small portion at a new kebab shop or at least taking a closer look. At my regular kebab shop, a french fry is just a french fry. There are two sizes here and large is the family size, which I didn't come close to making, but at €7 it cost accordingly. A small portion is easily enough if it is to be a side dish. I had curry as a sauce. It was pleasantly fruity.
Overall, I was happy with Food Connection and if you're in the area you can definitely grab a kebab here.
Best kebab ever! If I didn't live in Baden-Württemberg, this would be my new regular kebab. At the end I philosophized with the seller about the crispiness of bread. The man knows his craft! ♥️
I wanted to try it... and I extremely regretted it.
Firstly, it took me an extremely long time to hold my Dürüm in my hand.
Secondly, it was the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. The meat was tough, the vegetables were smelly and the sauce tasted artificial.
And thirdly, I was withdrawn. The sign says Dürüm 5.50 euros. But when I paid I suddenly said I had to pay 6 euros.
Just stay away from the store! There are much better alternatives on Landgrabenstrasse or Dianaplatz, each 5 minutes away.
Just ordered here via Lieferando, the first and last time out of 4 dishes, 3 were delivered incorrectly, the flatbread was hard and the meat was simply no longer good - 1/10 never again
Unfortunately, the great "Kebab Dealer" has suddenly closed completely overnight since the end of June 23! 🚫☠️
Without prior notice or other information, the 3 nice restaurateurs seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth and were completely unreachable. (at the food stand, via WhatsApp, Lieferando etc.)
📵 🚷 📲❌
What a shame! 😭
*According to rumors 🗣️from the neighboring neighborhood
Apparently there were massive problems and disputes with the landlord
(“Unver Market”)
of the food container on whose premises the “Kebab Dealer” was located.
*Information without guarantee!
It would be really great 👍🏻if there was a new opening at another location nearby! 🙏🏻

Colleagues call us very nice and it tasted so good that we went there twice in one day (good eyesight recognized us as his best friends)
PS: stay as you are and we'll be back soon, colleague
I had a normal minced meat rotisserie kebab. The taste was nothing to highlight. Everything tasted very bland. Unfortunately the bread wasn't toasted either. The normal kebab costs €7 and weighed 527 g. So it costs €1.33/100 g. The employee was very friendly. There's supposed to be another vegetable kebab. I must have missed it somehow. I'll try it next time. The review is only for the normal minced meat rotisserie kebab.
