Good home cooking. Nice staff and rustic atmosphere

We were traveling with our motorhome and had an excellent dinner here. A very friendly service rounded the whole thing off. Highly recommended. We will definitely stop here when we are in this area again.

We were in the journeyman's house again. We believe that this restaurant is looking for real opponents! It starts with the Amüsgöl. Always changing and extremely tasty. Unfortunately this is not available to go! The extensive menu is topped with plenty of additional, delicious dishes. And because this couldn't be enough, there is also a daily menu that is presented directly at the table (orally). Everything we have eaten there in the last few years has been absolutely top class!!! Everything freshly prepared and extremely delicious! OK... if it's very busy (like today) it may take a while, but that's not a bad thing as you'll be compensated by the food and service. Food and drinks are absolutely diverse, fresh and top class. About the service... An opponent is also being sought here... but he certainly cannot be found. The service is absolutely top class! Attentive, fast, reliable and positively funny! The journeyman’s house is our absolute recommendation!

We celebrated our gold wedding anniversary there with family and friends. Great ambience, excellent food, very friendly service, good advice and fair prices. All in all perfect.

Wir kamen Sonntags spätnachmittags und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Da wir leider nicht reserviert hatten, bekamen wir keinen Tisch mehr, durften aber an der gemütlichen Theke platznehmen. Sehr aufmerksame/r/s Wirtin/Wirt/Servicepersonal, vielseitige, aber aufgeräumte Speisekarte. Der vorab gereichte Salat war top-frisch und mit einem sehr leckeren Dressing angemacht. Die Scholle „Finkenwerder“ zum Hauptgang auf den Punkt gebraten - mit leckeren Bratkartoffeln. Schnitzel Wiener Art dünn geklopft und mit leckerer Panade perfekt ausgebacken. Die ganze Gaststätte war gemütlich voll, zumeist mit Stammgästen - das alleine spricht für sich und das Gasthaus! Danke - wir kommen gerne wieder

An awful experience. We sat at an empty table and were totally ignored by the staff for more than 15 minutes. Other people came, we given menus, served drinks and had conversations with waiting staff whist we could not even catch her eye to ask for a Speisekarte (Menu). In the end we gave up and left and the woman just looked at us and shrugged. If you're not one of their "regulars" I'd give that place a wide berth.

We were here today after the Dramatic performance in the hall. Even though the kitchen was already closed, they made me a delicious Cyriwurst with fries! Great! Thank you very much for the nice service!
