Delicious food, friendly service, will be back

Down-to-earth German restaurant, fair price-performance ratio, which is probably why, unfortunately, the use of ready-made products, such as bags of hollandaise and "hunter sauce" without fresh mushrooms. The schnitzels were large but quite dry. All in all we found it very average with room for improvement. But the service was extremely friendly.

Family tradition at its best. Delicious food, good service, moderate prices. The boss has an ear for everyone. That's how good gastronomy works.

The redfish with fried potatoes were very tasty, the potatoes were soft and slightly crispy in some corners. The fish had a delicious breading, but could have been crispier. The only thing I didn't find so tasty was the lemon? butter. Overall, tasty and acceptable for the price. The service for drinks was good, but the food took a relatively long time. I didn't really like the ambience, pretty old-fashioned. Unfortunately it was lunch for us and we didn't know that you could only choose something from the A4 lunch list. All in one a good German restaurant with delicious German dishes.

We came across this restaurant in Wolbeck by chance. My wife ate a few potato pancakes and when I heard my own nickname I had to throw myself into “Kallis Töttchen”. My wife was delighted with the crispy, golden-brown potato pancakes, which were served with fresh, apparently homemade applesauce. The tart was served with a small, warm baguette and tasted delicious to me. We felt we were looked after in a friendly and competent manner by the staff. So overall, big praise. This definitely wasn't our last visit.

Found it there with a 2:1 voucher and was very pleasantly surprised. Despite being directly on the street, shielded from traffic, great beer garden, very tasty food, and the service was super friendly. I would happily recommend the restaurant

We sat outside. It's incredibly loud due to car posers and rush hour traffic! The furnishings are very old, the window sills outside are completely dirty. The food was nothing special. The mushroom sauce was a hollandaise from the package, the schnitzel was dry and fried for too long. I can do it better at home! My daughter had a long hair in her food! Hmm delicious...unfortunately that doesn't work at all! Nevertheless, it was well attended, probably because there aren't many restaurants in Wolbeck. I can't understand it any other way. Unfortunately not recommended for my needs.

Sliced ​​meat and mini röstis too expensive for this children's portion, it wasn't anything more and it didn't really taste that good either, mushrooms from a jar, I suspect. Just too loud on the corner, a few meters from the Kreuzug, the furnishings outside are old-fashioned and not really well maintained, but the staff are probably not so welcoming, can't recommend it!

We were really looking forward to a nice evening. After more than an hour (drinks were served non-stop) the food arrived, unfortunately both dishes were only lukewarm. :-( However, my shredded chicken was snow white, the meat had never seen a pan! The cream sauce tasted accordingly... The same thing with the “freshly fried mushrooms”! I have a sneaking suspicion that the mushrooms came from the jar. In addition, the quantity was more than manageable, I would say a medium children's portion. Was it the voucher book or the big crowd on Sunday evening... you don't know!!! The two drinks were on the house, meant in a nice way but it was little consolation! Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

I went there for the first time with the family today, the food was very tasty. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. Dogs are also welcome there.

We were there when only the counter was occupied. Service very friendly and quick. Food was very tasty, but the portions were very poor for the price (and I say that as a bad eater...) Everything was clean and the dog was also very welcome.

Great food and good value for money too. It's just a shame that there wasn't a small salad with the meal. But it's still worth a second visit.

I was only there the Sunday before zibomo, friendly service

One of the few German restaurants with a bar, plus a beer garden. After asking X times, we finally got a table because it was always full. We also booked directly for Christmas, as things were already tight. The food was great, the quantity was enough for me and the price was okay too. The four of us ordered schnitzel, it was fresh and nothing frozen. The chanterelles were very tasty, as were the fried potatoes, a little crispier, mine could have used salt and pepper. The sauce was a little too thin. But we were all satisfied all around. The staff is nice and friendly. All in all it was a lovely evening that we will repeat. Bitburger, Veltins and Grevensteiner Landbier are available fresh from the tap. What we also thought was great was that there were some board games to borrow, free of charge, so we missed a few buses.^^

Unfortunately I can only give it two stars because the portion sizes have become so small that you can't even begin to feel full. This was also confirmed to me by friends, so it doesn't seem to be an isolated case. My tip: Just increase the prices by a few euros and increase the portions again! Edit January 2, 2024: I was at Sültemeyer again about 2 months ago. The portions were now reasonable. We were full and it was delicious too. In this respect I increase it to 5 stars.

We stopped by by chance - while passing through - and were completely thrilled!! A restaurant with German cuisine and an extremely reasonable price/performance ratio. Even the starter - salmon with grated biscuits - was outstanding!! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again...

Sehr nettes Personal und lecker Essen. Wir waren spontan da und wurden freundlich begrüßt. Obwohl wir nicht vorbestellt hatten war es kein Problem einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Also bei Sültemeyer bin ich quasi aufgewachsen,mit Birgit,Jutta und Martina war ich befreundet über Jahre; Meine Eltern hatten,die Kneipe gegenüber ,das "SCHLÖSSCHEN "WIR HATTEN viele sehr schöne Feste, Familien feiern und leckeres Essen (von Oma Sültemeyer)👍 Eine von Vielen Kneipen (mit Restaurant) die in WOLBECK übrig geblieben sind. Toll war es und ist es immernoch .Dieses Haus gehört zu Wolbeck's Geschichte. Nicht weg zu denken Anke Struhs -Niber geb.Ussat

Schönes westfälisches Ambiente. Gibt es leider mittlerweile viel zu wenig. Service super und Speisen echt lecker. Jeden Cent wert. Wir hoffen, daß Sültemeyer so noch lange Familiengeführte wird. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächten Besuch .

Wir waren mega begeistert. Sehr nette Bedienungen, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Essen war sehr gut. Wir waren hier im Münsterland im Urlaub und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Picobello sauberes Lokal. Netter Empfang, lecker Essen zum Sattwerden. Meiner Bitte, zusätzlich noch Pfeffersoße zu erhalten wurde nachgekommen - völlig unkompliziert. Zu meiner Überraschung stand sie später nicht mal auf der Rechnung. Dankeschön dafür :)) Wiederholungstäter waren wir auch schon....

Gut bürgerliche Küche. Die Schnitzelkarte ist gut, wobei den Gerichten ein zusätzlicher kleiner Salat ganz gut stehen würde.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gerichte, von denen es auf der Karte eine gute und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl gibt, sind sehr ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Der Besuch des Restaurants ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Das Interieur und Ambiente im Restaurant ist doch schon sehr altbacken. Dafür sind die WC-Anlagen nagelneu und in einem top Zustand.

Die gesamte Atmosphäre läd zum Verweilen ein um mit der Familie oder Freunden einen Tag zu haben. Die Bedienung rundet das gesamte gute Bild ab. Es lohnt sich immer hier einzukehren und eine gute Zeit zu haben. Leider werden solle Lokale immer weniger wo man sich wohl fühlen kann.
