Henrik’s Restaurant & Kneipe in Münster

Wow—I'm absolutely thrilled, happy, and grateful. We were able to hold the funeral reception at Henriks yesterday, and it was absolutely perfect! The tables were perfectly arranged, beautifully set, the soup was incredibly delicious, the sandwiches were fantastic, and the cake was truly tasty. The assistant restaurant manager served us impeccably with a super friendly and very pleasant manner. Henriks is a truly wonderful restaurant, and we will certainly return soon to enjoy the wonderful ambiance, the excellent service, and the superb food. Thank you for this very pleasant and dignified event!

I found the restaurant completely overcrowded and correspondingly noisy that evening. Despite having a reservation, we were assigned a table way out in the sticks and were basically blocking everyone's way. The food wasn't a highlight of the evening either; it was lukewarm and overcooked, or rather, a bit too crispy/darkly fried. Aside from that, I've had better meals, and my expectations weren't met. I wouldn't have minded so much if the atmosphere had been pleasant. The only truly excellent thing was the service—very friendly and attentive.

We've eaten there three times now. Once again, we encountered an exceptionally friendly, attentive, and efficient service team. The kitchen's creativity is remarkable, although on our last visit, the food wasn't quite as enjoyable as before, though we can't pinpoint exactly why. We'll chalk it up to the staff's mood that day. The atmosphere is generally pleasant, and even when the restaurant is full, it's still easy to have a conversation. However, it's rather noisy at the few tables near the main service area. So, choose your table carefully! We'll definitely be back!

Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. The food was fresh and very tasty. I especially liked the mashed potatoes with the meal, much better than fries ;) The conservatory was a bit basic, but that's typical for extensions.

What really stands out here is the exceptionally inconsiderate service, significant errors on the bill (dessert from the next table was added to ours...). We were told to pay first, and then we could see the item on the bill! We were overcharged by over €20, and the error was not acknowledged, no apology offered, just sheer incompetence or audacity, whatever. The food was okay, nothing more, but the price was considerable! I think that was the first and last time for now. The result: simply outrageous!

I've known this place since childhood, when it was still called Schellers. Since Henrik took over, the restaurant has had a more modern feel, which blends beautifully with the old charm. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and the staff are truly wonderful! The food is of very high quality and delicious, especially considering the price. My wife and I have been there several times and are always very satisfied.

We stopped in on a whim for a quick dinner. We were lucky and got a seat. The food and service were good. The staff were very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

We were there on Sunday for the breakfast buffet. Nice selection at the buffet, including coffee and tea. It's a very nice dining room, decorated in traditional Münster style. Great atmosphere and very quiet. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The food was okay, and the service was very friendly and attentive. But waiting over an hour for the food while watching the table next to us eat after us wasn't so pleasant. We probably won't be coming back.

We celebrated our parsley wedding with 50 guests at Henrik's. It was outstanding. A relaxed champagne reception in the beer garden behind the restaurant, great food, a well-coordinated and excellent selection of drinks, and above all: a fantastic, cheerful team who superbly managed the event, especially the bar, until 3:30 in the morning. Added to that was a clear and fair price agreement in advance, without any additional fees or fuss. Henrik was always relaxed and at the same time obliging during the planning process. Everything worked out perfectly!

We recently went there for a funeral "coffee." It was very poorly prepared: the rolls were poorly filled, and the toppings were wrinkled as if they had already spent the night on the table...the cheese looked like it was over-baked...odd considering the service otherwise! A real shame.

We celebrated our wedding here a few weeks ago with about 45 people, and everything was a complete success—the atmosphere, the food, and the friendly service! The arrangements were straightforward, and thanks to the April sunshine, the champagne reception was spontaneously held outside in the back area! Thanks for everything, Henrik and team

Four of us dined yesterday and had a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, attentive, and competent. We'll definitely be back.

Very cozy. Good service. I wasn't happy with the food. The gnocci were dry and lukewarm...and overpriced. For a few gnocchi, a bit of rocket and some mushrooms 18 euros? Maybe I was just unlucky.

Food was ok (Iberico baking). Portion but far too small for the price, meat too cooked, red cabbage from a jar. Plus everything was swimming in sauce. Taste OK. Service ok.

Absolutely excellent restaurant. Very nice and professional service. The food stands out from the usual monotony. Creative, fresh, tasty. You can sit very well inside and in the beer garden.

Nettes Ambiente, super freundliches Personal. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber fein. Sonderwünsche werden ohne Murren umgesetzt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet: das Flanksteak war schön rosa, der Romanesco hatte noch Biss. Leider waren meine Beilagen nur noch lauwarm. Alle anderen Gerichte waren heiß. Deswegen aber nur 4 Sterne, anstatt 5 beim Essen.

The New Year's Eve menu was great, as was the festive clothing of the attentive service staff.

Christmas buffet 2024.45 € per person, child 4 years old, 27.50 €, food was bland, overcooked, tasteless, presented without love, has nothing to do with Christmas, we have eaten much better, but you could eat the dessert, we I suspect that the bags were mixed with a lot of love, thanks to the chef, I can do better! Christmas buffet, never again, forgot to mention, no tablecloths, the next time you offer a Christmas buffet, think about whether you don't try to keep the food warm and if you have small children (dry mashed potatoes) without sauce (€27.50), helloooo , that was the most expensive puree ever, nope, they are still working on the price, the food was recommended to us, but for Christmas, as a buffet..................nooo

Well, It's difficult to describe when every bite makes you want "please never let it end"! What else should you write then? The side dish is a little over-salted, the jus is strong as it should taste and the main character (fish) is subtly but perfectly seasoned and fried. Everything in one bite: “Fantastic”. Thank you for this culinary experience and I look forward to the next visit.

Reservierung über OpenTable war echt toll. Ging schnell und ohne Komplikationen. Restaurant mit Klasse Ambiente, toller Service und lecker Essen. Als Gast fühlt man sich gut angenommen. Preis zwar im oberen Drittel aber dennoch angemessen. Hier eine klare Empfehlung.

Super netter Gaststätte / Kneipe, sehr netter Service, ingesamt eine coole Location. Vorspeisen durch die Bank weg einfach sehr gut, Hauptgänge etwas unterschiedlich von sehr gut bis hin zu „das geht auch besser“. Ingesamt aber richtig gut und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Something very special. Relaxed, nice atmosphere. It really couldn't be friendlier. First-class food and not standard fare, but a great surprise every time thanks to the changing menu: from traditional Westphalian to innovative, also for vegetarians. Also family and child friendly. There's actually nothing left to be desired!

A classic dining room with a bright, modern touch (if you're not sitting in the cozy bar room). Very tasty food, a small, fine menu, seasonal products, an excellent selection of drinks and wonderful, courteous service. We were there today to celebrate a special day, which ended perfectly with the personal, friendly service, even though it was very full. An error when taking the order was resolved and compensated for very quickly.

Sehr netter Service, junges Personal, frische Gerichte, abseits vom Standard, gute Weine, man kann draussen auf einer Terrasse sitzen und schaut auf die alte Kirche und "Grün". Das Gebäude des Restaurants ist halt etwas älter, aber ansprechend. Von der Hauptstraße vor dem Restaurant hört man selbst auf der nach hinten gelegenen Terrasse wenig. Insgesamt immer wieder schön, dort zu sein und zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Sehr außergewöhnliche, sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, nettes Ambiente und sehr freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war wie immer sehr lecker. Aber wir hätten deutlich mehr getrunken oder Nachtisch gegessen, wenn der Service zu uns gekommen wäre. Leider wurden wir nach dem Hauptgang nicht mehr gefragt und haben auch niemanden gesehen um noch etwas zu bestellen.
