Gasthof Zur Brücke in Nordkirchen

We thought these gashofs were charming, and have been to "zur brücke" before. The rooms are old-fashioned, but that's charming, the food is simple and good. But the drivers are getting old, so it was nice that there were some young, super nice people there to help out now. They also spoke English. The prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, it was a bit of an unfortunate experience when a man suddenly locked himself in our room early in the morning. It was probably because the owner didn't want to sign us into the system when we arrived, he just pointed to his head and said "I have it here"...so a bit of a mess there. We had a good breakfast with coffee and tea.

We stopped by for dinner at short notice. Super friendly staff and delicious food!

Last week, we spontaneously visited Hermann's inn again. I was craving a rump steak with freshly fried onions and fried potatoes. This dish isn't available on the menu in this combination, but the very friendly waitress said, "No problem at all. We'd be happy to do it for you." The meal was prepared quite quickly, and of course, a small mixed salad was also included. The steak was cooked to perfection, the onions were well-cooked, and the fried potatoes were nice and crispy. My better half chose the chicken schnitzel. No problem either. Once again, we were very satisfied and it certainly won't be our last visit.

We came here based on the Google reviews and can only confirm the good reviews: good home-style, very tasty cuisine at reasonable prices, friendly, attentive staff, nice ambience. It was too cold for the beer garden, but it looks very inviting and will definitely be a stopover on a bike tour in the near future. 😀

Gigantic breakfast with more choice than you can imagine. Super tasty and everything fresh. The staff is also super attentive and really quick to refill. If you ask for something, it will always be answered quickly. We'd love to come back. Absolutely recommended!!! 🥰👍👍👍 Dec. '24, I don't know what was pre-ordered by the host today. What was available to choose from was significantly less and average. Nothing special. The coffee was "Lake Constance" coffee, as my brother-in-law aptly put it, but absolutely drinkable🥰The staff was again very attentive. A lovely morning with the family. Auch kurz vor Feierabend wurden wir noch freundlich bedient und lecker bewirtet, obwohl es hieß, "nur noch die kleine Karte". Draußen wie drinnen empfehlenswert!

leider waren wir zu früh für die warme Küche vor Ort. Der angebotene Kuchen sah aber sehr gut aus. Ich muss noch einmal wiederkommen.

Chef und die MA's super freundlich 👍, das Essen sehr lecker... wie immer 😁😊 WC meega sauber, eine kleine Karte für den Außenbereich im Restaurant die Gängige, sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein. Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier!

Essen in Ordnung. Das Schnitzel war leider etwas trocken. Service gut, hätte jedoch etwas aufmerksamer sein können.

Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und preiswert. Das Frühstück ist einfach genial. Hier fehlt es an absolut nichts und sollte doch jemandem noch ein Wunsch einfallen darf gerne nachgefragt werden und es wird direkt nachgelegt. Für den Preis unschlagbar. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Gutbürgerliches Essen, lecker! Paprikasauce doll, Jägersauce ok. Salate 1a frisch und lecker. 😄 Sehr freundlicher Service und alles recht flott. Wir haben auch schon Familienfeste dort gefeiert und es war wirklich immer gut!
