Top service! Beautiful ambience!

Thank you. Our experience was great! Starting with a warm welcoming, proceeding with delicious food and excellent service. The service is very fast (in case if you don't have much time before the flight).

It was great, if we hadn't had to drive off we would have happily stayed put longer! Great service, delicious food and cozy beer garden atmosphere!

Motto: Whatever can still be found in the kitchen is served on the table. Ordered three meals, changes to two of which had already been announced in advance, potato pancakes with "normal" bread instead of brown bread, lamb goulash with spaetzle instead of dumplings, so far so bad (in addition to a drink from the menu that was not available). But the next surprises came when it was served, raspberry syrup was supposed to replace the applesauce with the potato pancakes, salad was supposed to replace the red cabbage from the goulash, which unfortunately turned out to be too much for more than one star. Slight upgrade for the service because of the apologies and the free coffee at the end, but that didn't save the overall impression. Oh yes, the menu on the homepage is of course outdated, the potato pancakes, for example, cost 4 euros more. So a very professional impression... Otherwise the ambience was rather cool, what came to the table was acceptable average.

We had reserved in advance and were looking forward to a lovely, cozy evening. Unfortunately, we had to wait a really good 1.5-2 hours for our food and we almost died of thirst. If we hadn't been in such a good mood that day, we would have left the place before dinner without paying. The food was good and tasty but not exceptional either, just good bourgeois, everything else was not. The great thing, however, is that after paying we were praised by the friendly but overwhelmed service, as we were the only guests who didn't complain, although there were only 6 at most. Conclusion: According to other reviews, it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. Guests who come later eat sooner?! Drinks take too long, people don't even pay attention to you after you order food. I definitely won't eat there again, the waiting time is a disgrace and not at all reasonable, even if fresh dishes are made. In order to serve drinks or food or not to forget guests, I don't need specialist staff, I just need motivation and fun in their job, otherwise you're simply wrong. Maybe it's not the waiter's fault alone, but rather the wrong organization as a whole or the working atmosphere isn't right. It's a shame because otherwise the house makes a good overall impression. The boss doesn't accept any criticism. Unfortunately you have to give 1 star but it wasn't deserved.

On Easter Sunday we decided to go to the “Altes Fährhaus” restaurant - without a reservation we got a nice table for three people. The staff very polite, friendly and quick. The food was super tasty, lamb chop with few bones, grilled to perfection and side dishes were also really good. There was also a greeting from the kitchen, a tasty tomato soup. We also ordered tarte flambée, which could have been from Alsace, with a thin, crispy base and the topping left nothing to be desired. For dessert there was a latte macchiato cake to kneel in. All in all, a successful meal. Thanks to the team.

I went here for dinner with a few friends on the 3rd weekend of Advent. I would have left here again, but my friends wanted to stay here... Our Alster was missing the Sprite and only water came out because the syrup was empty, but we all got a new Alster. My vegetarian burger was just lukewarm, but I didn't feel like saying anything anymore... I found the employees to be very overwhelmed and stressed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the "Schweinske".

Very tasty and very friendly service. Will definitely come back!
