We had a great business lunch there for two. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The ambience is great. The service was very polite.

Very good host and very good cook

Matchball is a little hidden near the Ewald colliery. This is the clubhouse of the local tennis club. The match ball is not only open to club members but to all guests. Moderate drink prices and draft beer await you. The menu is small and fine, the burger menu in particular is highly recommended. Attached is the “Roger Federer Burger”

We have been there a few times ourselves or we have ordered and picked up by phone. Super tasty schnitzels and for us the mussels are really great (only if ordered in advance). Now we had Christmas dinner with a group. Schnitzel buffet. Really tasty, lots of it, a variety of different sauces. Was always refilled. So something for everyone. The side salad also tasted very good. Maybe at the next big buffet meal an additional salad bowl would be great. The service was very attentive, quick and also very nice. Price/performance/service everything was right. The only drawback for me is the parking situation. Otherwise always happy and recommended. The pictures are from a family dinner.

As always, simply fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere, very nice staff and the food...! Good home cooking with a twist at it's best! Always everything fresh! The salads are a dream! Always worth a visit, but please order in advance so that you are not disappointed. Were there again today. It's getting better and better. You can hardly believe it. You feel like you're at home. My absolute favorite restaurant!!!

Zum Geburtstag meines Mannes dieses Restaurant zum ersten Mal ausprobiert. Wir sind absolut begeistert!!! Herzliche Atmosphäre, toller Service, Sterneküche. Jeder einzelne Gang war ein Highlight!! Wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

A great restaurant with delicious home-brewed beer 🍺 and great, tasty food plus attentive service that knew their stuff. We are already looking forward to the next visit.
