Cozy village pub with friendly host and waitresses. Also typical Westphalian food.

We were there for the birthday party with over 30 people. There was a buffet with various dishes. The selection was vegetarian and also with meat dishes. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Super great pub, with super nice staff. Great food and great for darts. I'd love to go there.

Matchball is a little hidden near the Ewald colliery. This is the clubhouse of the local tennis club. The match ball is not only open to club members but to all guests. Moderate drink prices and draft beer await you. The menu is small and fine, the burger menu in particular is highly recommended. Attached is the “Roger Federer Burger”

It was a really lovely evening New Year's Eve! The food was gigantic, the staff was very friendly. (The waiting times between courses could have been shorter and the seating was uncomfortable after 4 hours.) 4.5 stars. Totally recommended!!

We recently went to a breakfast buffet for a .....silver, gold or diamond wedding, I don't want to specify that as I was invited. It was more than below average. The buffet was not replenished. I would have liked to eat a slice of raw ham or some fish, no chance... and that wasn't because of the behavior of the other guests but because they didn't add more. The cheese plate consisted of the cheapest varieties from a discount store. No Brie, no Camembert, no trace of cream cheese. There was one type of bread, rolls, no croissants, no freshly fried eggs. For us one of the worst breakfast buffets we have experienced. We won't have breakfast here again

Home-style cuisine predominates. Unfortunately only two vegetarian dishes were discovered on the menu. But there are plenty of schnitzel recipes... Good for quick hunger. My husband was satisfied. With charm and persuasion I at least got a few slices of baguette with my salad. Friendly staff, we got a table without a reservation
