Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut essen und den Abend genießen. Die Küche ist wirklich fein. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut okay.

Food great, service great, old charm

The prices on the internet do not match. We were there with 5 people and the food is completely overpriced and nothing special. The overpriced schnitzel was accompanied by a salad, which you subsequently had to pay dearly for. Not recommended!

Saure Nierle verdienen das Wort „sauer“ nicht. Auch Soße zu „dünn“! Salat und Bratkartoffeln sehr gut! Etwas mehr Würze empfehlenswert

Lovely location, very green and quiet. The building has history and stages art exhibitions as well. Nice, cosy guestroom, friendly service and good German-style food, cooked to a higher level. Good wine selection. I had the Maultaschen in Rinderbrühe as starter, followed by Schweinslende mit Rahmegerlingen und Spätzle. The pork loin was one of the most tender pieces of meat I ever had! A nice Williams-Christ after the meal completed a very excellent meal. The one fly in the ointment was that there appears to be a problem with the chimney and the sewers, as there was a bit of a whiff in the air. That needs to be addressed quickly.

We had our summer party there and it was really nice. Service really friendly, food okay, atmosphere good too 👍

Unfortunately very disappointed. The food itself was good, but the gorgonzola schnitzel was a disappointment. There was hardly any Gorgonzola to taste, which spoiled the whole experience for me. I definitely expected more for the price. Very dissatisfied and probably won't come again.

Nice old restaurant just like it was everywhere 30 years ago. For me personally, unfortunately it's no longer up to date and the audience is 70+, which means if they don't change something a bit... soon all the guests will die and no one will come anymore... what I mean by that is simply that there's a waitress there When we were there with a few people, they could have made 5 times as much drinks, but no one came and when they ordered it took forever, it was too stupid for me and I ordered a bottle straight away. When we're talking about wine and you order a bottle, there's not a lot to choose from, of course we said "that's fine" and the table wine was enough. Honestly, I didn't eat enough, it was wonderful for an 80 year old but a disaster for people my age. When we ate, everyone said the meat was tender, yes it was, I would say it was overcooked, everything is tender but OK, I'm not a cook, it just wasn't for me. Generally just fell asleep, that sounds hard now but I wish something would change then I would like to go there again. As the best example I can only cite the Waldrast in vöhrenbach, it was also old-fashioned and fucked up, now everything has been made perfect, the service is on point, they really look after you...for those who don't understand what I mean, just go there. I wish you much success and of course all the best

We have been to the new boathouse in Ketsch several times now. The ambience is nice and the terrace with the beautiful view is just great. The food was very tasty and always freshly prepared. Emphasis is placed on regional products, which you can also taste. The menu even includes “home cooking” that you don’t often find in restaurants anymore. The selection of delicious wines (black Riesling is my favorite) as well as the cappuccino are a must :-).The service was extremely friendly and the family atmosphere makes you immediately feel at home as a guest. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The selection of food isn't that big, but it was very tasty. We had a regular and a small Cordon Bleu. The small one was just right for me. My husband had the “normal” one, and it was pretty big. It was pan fried, the proper way. Not fried! Very tasty, crispy and tender. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Wenn man ein richtig gutes gut bürgerliches Lokal sucht - dann unbedingt hingehen! Wunderbares Essen sehr freundlicher Service. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt hier einfach.

We were there for the first time since the new owner took over (Romanian) Very nice people and very tasty food and really cheap, the portion was really big 😊 We would love to come back 😌
