Despite being understaffed, the staff was very friendly. They even brought our one-year-old son's food a little early so he could eat. Otherwise, the food tasted very good. The portions were good. You'll see us more often from now on.

We stayed here for one night; the beds were very comfortable, and the service was super friendly. I forgot something, but they even mailed it to me. 👍🙏

We've already been out to eat without our children. Everything was great, so we came back. Unfortunately, we were very, very disappointed the second time. Not with the service, nor with the food. Both were excellent, so much praise for that. But unfortunately, I was very, very sad today because our little one just wasn't in a very good mood, and the manager told us twice, "You have to be quiet later when the other guests arrive." That's just how child-friendly Germany is! The third time, we would have burst and definitely said something! I like dogs, but they don't belong in a restaurant much more than children, who aren't robots! In the end, I felt unwanted… as if they were trying to get rid of us. We had even considered celebrating the baptism there. It's a good thing it happened today, because then I wouldn't want to celebrate there and unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable anymore. So, today wasn't so nice and it ruined our enthusiasm from the first time. Please state on the website that only quiet children, couples without children, or only seniors are allowed. Because I also became very tense because I was always immediately startled when my child was a bit loud! The service is super friendly! Thank you for that. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1.

The waitress was very nice and kept asking if everything was okay. I found the parking options a bit limited, so I parked right in front on the street across the street, as did another couple. They asked me if I knew if parking was allowed there, as they also wanted to go over for dinner. The parking lot was behind the house on a gravel lot, unfortunately, it wasn't signposted. But my cheese spaetzle were incredibly delicious!

sehr freundlicher Empfang // super nettes Personal // einige Zimmer wurden renoviert - ist sehr gelungen // Heizung hat nach dem Aufdrehen sofort funktioniert // alles sehr sauber und gepflegt // die Betten waren hart - also noch ohne Kuhlen - das was man erwarten darf und bei vielen Übernachtungen in anderen Hotels nicht bekommt das Essen sah sehr gut aus und hat auch dementsprechend lecker geschmeckt // der "stramme Max" war toll - kein Toast, sondern eine Scheibe Brot, reichlich mit Schicken und zwei Eiern belegt und mit einem ausgezeichnet abgeschmeckten vielfältigen Salat garniert der "Kaiserschmarrn" war spitzenmäßig zubereitet, die Speise war noch mit warmen gebratenen Mandeln unterlegt (nicht verbrannt) und am Rand mit Früchten versehen - dazu noch mit Apfelmus drapiert und das alles in einer schönen Schale serviert // alles nicht zu süß - einfach toll das Bier war kühl - genau richtig - und lief genüsslich den Schlund hinunter alles im Allen kann ich ein Besuch im Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen

We were at the inn for dinner. Everyone sat comfortably and everyone found something delicious to eat (Flädlesuppe, goat cheese, cheese spaetzle, schnitzel and the Swabian dream). The service was extremely friendly and accommodating! We can warmly recommend it!

We were “only” there to eat, not to spend the night. Is a rustic inn (typical village restaurant). We had goat cheese with lamb's lettuce (with a really delicious blueberry dressing), chestnut cream soup, lentils with spaetzle and chicken breast (with thyme sauce) with vegetables and mashed potatoes. We enjoyed it very much. The boss and the young lady in service were very friendly and attentive. Can't say anything negative. Fair prices: €68 for both meals with starter and 2 drinks each.

We just ate and sat in the beer garden. You can sit there quietly under two large chestnut trees. The food was delicious, nice and hot and the portions were large enough. The service was very friendly. Sitting inside is also cozy and rustic.

So I can't understand Jenny Schneider's review at all, I think this woman was in a different location, a complete loss of reality for her wedding. We are very satisfied, the staff and the chef are top notch and do their job to the very best, we are always very satisfied, we will continue in the same way and don't let such bargain hunters irritate us.

We were there for dinner. Shortly before 9 p.m. the waitress called out, “Have a nice evening!” Other guests and we sat outside to drink nothing. Suddenly all the lights went out and we sat in the dark. Absolute impudence! OUTRAGEOUS! Never again!

We were there with a group of about 40 people. The food was ordered in advance and served promptly after the drinks were delivered. Everyone enjoyed it very much and the landlady took a nice group photo outside at the end. You can also relax outside in the beer garden. We'd love to come back :-)

After us there was also a slightly older couple. Did you make a reservation? They said no, we didn't. The waitress then said, extremely unfriendly, that there was no room. I immediately turned around and wanted to leave. Here it comes, people. Hold on tight. 1 second later it said 4 people at a 4 table. But otherwise it wouldn't work. Maybe half the beer garden was still free. What a shame, I used to find the location very pleasant. But after the incident there was a very bitter aftertaste. It just doesn't work. The waitress should think about it.

Gute, regionale und noch günstige Speisen. Besonders örtliche Wurst und Bier haben uns geschmeckt. Der Service ist natürlich, herzlich und zügig. Potentiell steht ein Biergarten zur Verfügung.

We spent a night in the Gasthof as well as enjoyed beer in their garden and had a great breakfast (12 euros) the next morning. The accommodations were rather Spartan but very clean and quite acceptable. Parking was easy. This is run by a very nice couple who are expanding and modernizing their Gasthof.

Super delicious German food. Great value for money. There were four of us with two children and we ate so deliciously that we ate there again the next day. Regional specialties such as Alblinsen, delicious cheese spaetzle and Swabian plates can be found here. And the zander fillet with almond butter, spring vegetables and wild garlic noodles on the second day was excellent. The children ate the delicious Kaiserschmarrn.

We have been to the Brewery Gasthof Schlüsselkeller several times recently. Most recently with 4 people on a Saturday evening. We also received hot meals at short notice at 8:30 p.m. and were very satisfied. We had the small salad plate (very tasty and large, mainly green salad with tomatoes and sprouts and radishes - delicious sauce). Oh, the Swabian dream, the Alblins, the Stramme Max and the wild garlic dumplings were very tasty!

Die Gaststätte ist von der Straße her unscheinbar und nicht besonders einladend. Aber dafür ist der Biergarten unter einer großen Kastanie richtig schön, die Gasträume gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Service äußerst schnell! Und das regionale Essen sehr lecker. Dazu gibt's Bier aus eigener Brauerei. Bei unserer nächste Durchreise machen wir hier wieder einen Stopp.

The people who run this place are of Croatian origin. They serve dishes specific to the Balkan cuisine. I recommend roasted meat with onions to everyone. It is excellent. After retiring yesterday, we met with friends from work for dinner and had a great time. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, this place is completely closed as of this weekend. It changed hands last year. We met here with friends from work today, the food is excellent, the service is excellent, the employees take great care of the customers. I recommend it to everyone.

Food wasn't bad but expensive and small quantity. The last order was at 9.45 p.m. and we asked if we could finish the drink comfortably and then we were told of course. 20 minutes later the boss came and said please drink up, I still have to do the decorations for the next day. At 10:15 p.m. she pretty much threw us out, bottom drawer. Something like that doesn't work at all and on Saturday evening. The main thing is that she made her income from 10 guests. The motto, eat, drink and then go😁the waitresses deserve 3 stars. The boss not even 1 star.

Wir waren heute hier zum Essen mit einer Gruppe. Der Schlüsselkeller ist seit heuer unter neuer Geschäftsführung. Wir wurden nett bedient, Getränke und das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Die Beilagensalate waren sehr reichlich, und nicht Standard. Es waren einige Sprossen darauf und gut gewürzt. Zwar überwiegend grüner Salat, aber nicht nur ein paar wenige aufdrapierte Blätter. Das Dressing war etwas ölbetont. Die Portionen waren sehr reichlich und übriges wurde sehr gerne zum Mitheimnehmen verpackt. Ich habe gefragt, und es wurde bestätigt, dass man auch kleine Teller bestellen kann und dann bei den Schnitzeln nur eines statt zwei bekommt. Wir saßen im Nebenzimmer, das durch eine flexible Trennwand saalartig vergrößert werden kann. Alles geschmackvoll in dunkelgrün / weiß. Die Gaststube ist sehr heimelig mit seinem schönen alten Kachelofen und den bunten Glasfenstern. Im Sommer hat es einen wunderbaren Biergarten unter schönen alten Kastanien. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, die Preise etwas gehoben, aber alle waren hochzufrieden und alle Portionen waren reichlich. Für Kleinkinder gibt es Hochstühle. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu 6 dort. Wir wurden direkt freundlich bedient und es ging auch alles relativ zügig. Unser Hund hat sofort Wasser angeboten bekommen. Gegessen haben wir den Burger, den Rostbraten, die Kürbissuppe, den Schwabentraum, Salat , Apfelküchle und Kaiserschmarren. Alles war genau so wie bestellt und sehr lecker. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Ehrliche regionale Küche

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend hier zum Essen. Ich wollte gerne ein alkoholfreies Radler. Die Bedienung sagte mir ich muss dann 2 Gläser bestellen. Auf die Frage warum konnte sie mir keine Antwort geben da sie kaum deutsch verstand. Wir bekamen unser Essen. Mein Mann bestellte eine Haxe die noch ein wenig gekonnt hätte und ich einen Salat mit Hähnchen. Mein Salat schwamm in einem Öl Dressing und das dazugehörige Baguette war sehr weich. Andere Hunde bekamen eine Schüssel mit Wasser. Unser leider nicht. Also ich würde hier nicht wieder hin kommen. Schade um das Geld.
