I was traveling alone in Oberursel. In unfamiliar cities, I'm looking for something "typical of the area" with good home-style cooking: I found it here at "Zum Adler." A rustic, Hessian atmosphere. Delicious, home-style food at a fair price. Very friendly service.

We have already had several celebrations organized there and all of them were perfect. Great staff, delicious food and a nice rustic atmosphere. A real insider tip. We'll be back ;)

Peace and relaxation at the end of the road on a mountain The hotel and restaurant are well signposted from the main roads. The house is at the end of a street. This makes it nice and quiet with a large parking lot in front of the door. We were pleasantly welcomed and enjoyed dinner first. Delicious tender boiled beef. We then moved into the large, spacious holiday apartment on the 2nd floor. Perfect for the 5 of us with three bedrooms and a large living/dining room. We used the accommodation for a day trip to Winterberg for skiing and would love to come back. Freifunk WLAN is sufficient for basic applications

We were invited to a wedding there and it was really delicious so we'll definitely eat there again next time we visit the Spreewald.

Preferably 0 stars. The innkeeper is very unfriendly. Even the simplest things like hello, please and thank you seem to be foreign words. The change is sometimes thrown onto the table so carelessly that it ends up on the floor. And if you pay for your 5€ lunch appropriately, with 2x2€ and 1€, then you will be insulted because the money is too small for you. I can't write the exact wording here, otherwise my review will be blocked.

We had asparagus soup as a starter...it was really tasty...then we had schnitzel with asparagus and homemade hollandaise sauce, simply delicious. Also the super delicious burger. A visit is worth it 😉

I had schnitzel with potato salad, my wife had cheese spaetzle, both were very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised, we actually only went in there because there was nothing else to eat at 4 p.m. except kebab At first I almost wanted to go out again, but I stayed and it was worth it as I haven't had such good home cooking in a long time Thank you😍😍😍
