Guys, it's a dream. A truly cool and friendly welcome. The meal was roulades with dumplings, which weren't on the menu, but they were truly delicious. A starter was a cucumber soup. And for dessert, a plum cake with vanilla ice cream. And the price for two roulades, including wheat beer and pilsner, at €77 is truly impressive.

Thank you so much for the culinary delight. Super friendly and attentive service. We'll be happy to come back.

One star is one too many! The Schlosscafé & Restaurant website states: We warmly welcome you to our Harmonie restaurant! This sentence is like a slap in the face for us! We had permission to go there shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, with the idea of ​​a coffee or perhaps something to eat. However, we were stopped in the entrance area by a visibly unfriendly employee. When I asked if we could get a cabbuccino and cake, the curt reply was: "They don't serve coffee or cake here." I asked again if we could get something else to eat, and the answer was: "There's nothing left, all the food is sold out!" My wife and I looked at each other in surprise after glancing at the clock, and I dared to ask again if there was anything to eat. Apparently, that was too much for this waiter, because he practically shouted at us, asking if we didn't understand him when he told us there was nothing left!!! After this shock, we left the restaurant and headed for the Lower Castle information desk next door. There, after describing what we had just experienced, we learned that we weren't the first tourists to complain about the waiter's misconduct or rudeness! After reading other reviews, I wonder: How can you let such an employee loose on guests?! This has nothing to do with Thuringian hospitality; something like this is extremely disgraceful for Greiz!

We were here for the first time today. It was fantastic. The gentleman who served us was very kind and accommodating. The wine recommendation was spot on. The food, which was delicious, was cooked with passion and presented with great attention. A real highlight. We've already made another reservation. Thank you for the lovely evening. The food was delicious. The many flavors on the tongue were a dream. The boiled beef with dumplings was also outstanding.

A spontaneous stop on a Sunday in Greiz. The restaurant consists primarily of the sunny terrace at the Lower Castle. A waiter, who clearly enjoyed his job, took good care of us. The mixed salad with chicken breast had a sophisticated dressing. Served with fresh chanterelles, feta, and apricot chutney, this was a diverse and surprising summer meal. Highly recommended.

We visited here for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. The ambiance, service, and food were simply top-notch. We sat on the terrace with a beautiful view of the White Elster River. The wait for the food was worth it – along with a lovely greeting from the kitchen, the ox cheeks were a dream, and my chicken breast fillet was simply delicious. Conclusion – highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

The service is very courteous and attentive. The kitchen team is completely authentic and happy to have a friendly chat. The name of the restaurant does justice to the cuisine. We felt completely at home and the food, made with love and passion, tasted great. The service was also great and attentive. We will definitely come back to enjoy the ambience and culinary delights.

Um ein Jubiläum zu feiern, haben wir uns mit unseren Gäste aus Deutschland, Österreich und Italien im Restaurant Harmonie in Greiz getroffen. Wir waren danach sehr glücklich, dass wir so wunderbar feiern konnten. Von wirklich allen Gästen (22 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder) bekamen wir positive Feedbacks. Die Feier begann mit einem Sektempfang auf der Terrasse mit dem weiten Blick, danach köstliche Torten und Kuchen zum Kaffee in den für unsere Gruppe ideal geeigneten historischen Räumen. Das Abendessen haben selbst die anspruchsvollsten Gäste gelobt. Auch die Veganer und Vegetarier waren von ihrem Menü angenehm überrascht. Den veganen Kuchen durften wir übrigens selbst mitbringen. Das ganze Fest verlief in heiterer, entspannter Atmosphäre, dank des erfahrenen Personals. Ebenso die Absprachen und die Beratung im Vorfeld. Four of us from Berlin stayed in Greiz for five days and definitely experienced the friendliest service here. The food was fantastic, the price was completely justified, and we had a perfect final evening. The view topped it all off.

Eine tolle Küche - Spitzengastronomie- die ich nicht in Greiz erwartet hatte. Eine großartig ausgefallene Karte mit regionalen wie International Spezialitäten. Ich habe schon lange keine so gute und große Weinkarte für offene Weine in einem Restaurant erlebt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf den regionalen Weinen von Thüringen/Saale- Unstrut und Sachsen. Der Service ist liebenswert und ganz besonders, der Gast fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Eine absolute Empfehlung für die Region darüber hinaus. Wir werden auf alle Fälle bald wiederkommen.

Fate was really kind to us when it took us to the “Harmonie” restaurant during our visit to Greiz - a real gem. Here we cook with the heart, and it is so excellent and top-notch that we would immediately give 10 stars if that were possible. In addition, the atmosphere, whether on the terrace or indoors, is just a place to feel good. As a result, we simply “had” to spend a second evening there. A very big thank you to the friendly and professional team. If the path takes us back to Greiz, it will mainly be because of you.

Restaurant Harmonie?? Unfortunately, no harmony was possible because as soon as we entered the hallway we were asked what we would like and just a drink was not possible. The menu was handed to us and when we sat at the table and wanted to order we were told sharing food was out of the question. Anyone who hires a waiter like that doesn't want to have any guests. Afterwards we went to the Stadtmühle and were served very friendly there.

Very good restaurant. The food is very tasty and the service is helpful and friendly. If it's full, expect waiting times. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our dessert. On the terrace you have a beautiful view of the white magpie.

This is the true pearl of the Vogtland! A small, fine menu where everyone can find something suitable with such perfectly thought-out dishes. Star cuisine worthy! The starters, main courses and dessert are so sophisticated and harmonious. You rarely find that and especially you don't expect it in Greiz. The ambience is designed with so much love and attention to detail! The waiter is just great, very attentive, patient, gives great advice and suddenly has a good saying on his lips. The whole team is passionate about it and lives for gastronomy. They simply love what they do and you can taste it in every bite. You don't just come here to eat, but to enjoy and discover new tastes!

Ich habe eine Entdeckung gemacht. Mitten in Greiz. Im Unteren Schloss. Man muss das Kleinod etwas suchern. Aber es lohnt sich. Exzellente Küche Exzellente Weinkarte Und vor allem ein exzellenter Service. Ein souveräner Kellner, der sich durch nichts aus der Ruhe bringen lässt. Das Team hat mir 2 wundervolle Abende beschert. Unfortunately, the service staff was extremely cynical on such a beautiful day as May 1st with summery weather. A great restaurant, you sit nicely and want to order another drink. She says: are you sure you can do it in 5 minutes, we'll close then! 5 p.m. 🤦🏼‍♀️ ok but when there are still so many people sitting you have to make an exception in the catering industry. We had gotten our drinks, I said they could prepare the bill for us. Nobody came ok. I then went in and asked about the toilet and said again that they could bring us the bill so that they could finish work. You: in response to my question about the toilet: with a cynical smile “you are already on the right track” OK thanks

Das Restaurant ist ein Geheimtipp, wenn es um frische Zubereitung und Qualität der Speisen geht. Mit jedem Biss merkt man, wie hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Für Weinliebhaber gibt es hier eine beachtliche Weinkarte aus regionalen und internationalen Weinen. Das Highlight war, die persönliche Betreuung durch die Inhaberin/Köchin, die sich bei jeden Gast am Tisch erkundigte und einen schönen Aufenthalt wünschte. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, gepaart mit Witz und Charm. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Today, Sunday, 1 p.m., with a big appetite, but unfortunately... An obviously stressed waiter grumpily told us that the cook was sick and that he was completely overwhelmed. We should go to the service point and ask where we can eat. The question for a cup of coffee was also grumpily nodded off after the second time. Thanks We definitely won't be coming back.

First of all: food is good., but staff is unfriendly („no, we don’t have bread“, „no we don’t have salad“ - not even willing to find a solution). Kids are treated second class (e.g. no bread for kids, extremely long waiting time for pure noodles with sauce). Not all food served at the same time. All in all - if you have time, the view is nice (terrace), so is the food. The name „Harmony“ definitely does not fit…

Vorneweg - das Essen war lecker und wie angekündigt frisch zubereitet. Wir kamen recht zeitig als noch wenig Betrieb war. Bis wir das Essen bestellen konnten, vergingen dennoch knapp 40 Minuten. 20 min nach der Bestellung hatten wir beobachtet, dass an anderen Tischen schon Brot gebracht wurde. Die Kinder äußerten Hunger und wir fragten nach, ob man uns evtl. auch schon Brot bringen könnte. Wenige Minuten später brachte die Bedienung 2 Stückchen Brot mit Kräuterbutter: „Dann haben die Kinder schon mal was im Bauch“. Wir baten darum, selbst auch Brot zubekommen, woraufhin die Chefin an den Tisch kam, aber nicht mit Brot, sondern der Erklärung: „Das Brot war ein Gruß aus der Küche, den gibt es nur zu Erwachsenenessen.“ Die Kinder hatten immerhin jeder 1 große Schorle und ein Kindergericht bestellt. Weitere 10 Minuten später kam dann das Essen der Kinder: Nudeln mit Tomatensoße. Dass die Tomatensauce im Osten eine Ketchupmehlschwitze ist, ist nun mal so und den Kindern hat es geschmeckt. Auf unser Essen mussten wir weitere 20 min warten. Bis es da war, waren die Kinder fertig. Für weitere Verwunderung unsererseits sorgte der Käse auf der Rechnung. Ein Eierbecher voll geriebenem Köse wurde mit 2€ Aufpreis berechnet, da wären ja auch zwei eigene Stückchen Brot drin gewesen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Kreative Küche, frische Zutaten, Topp Bedienung. Kann man nur empfehlen. Greiz hat doch noch ein paar Highlights zu bieten.

Das Essen war super lecker und wirklich außergewöhnliche Speisen - konnte mich kaum entscheiden was ich nehme, da alles so gut klang. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Leider wohne ich nicht in Greiz, ansonsten würde ich sicher öfters hier essen.

Das Restaurant wurde ansprechend renoviert. Die Küche überrascht mit guten Gerichten-hätten wir in einer Kleinstadt so nicht erwartet. Die Karte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, aber es müsste für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden sein. Die Weine sind von der Auswahl und von der Qualität eingeschränkt-hier besteht aus unserer Sicht Verbesserungspotential. Der Service ist bemüht. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Sehr gut geführtes Restaurant mir liebevoll saisonale angepasster Küche. Das Servicepersonal ist überaus freundlich und dem Gast aufgeschlossen. Die Plätze auf der Terrasse mit ihrem Flair werden nur noch die Präsentation der Speisen und ihrem Geschmack übertroffen.

Ein Samstag Abend in Greiz, auf der Terrase des Restaurants haben wir zu Abend gegessen. Ein kleines Team arbeitet perfekt im Hintergrund. Die Küche zeichnet sich durch Liebe am Beruf aus. Der Mitarbeiter im Service ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frische Zutaten bei der Zubereitung der Speisen und das Detail der Tellersprache lassen einen das Essen geniessen. Sehr lecker...super entspannter Abend

Essen einmalig, Bedienung auch. Vorspeisen, und Hauptspeisen waren auf dem Punkt abgestimmt. Selbst die Prise Salz war zu 100% abgestimmt. So ein gutes Essen hatte ich noch nie.
