Great service, delicious food and clean

Hello, Thank you for the lovely evening. The food is really delicious and the portions are generous. The service is very pleasant, polite, and not intrusive. I'd love to come again. Just stop by sometime, it's worth it.

Many of the photos posted here are more than a year old. The restaurant has been under new management since April 2025. The exterior is lovingly designed with lots of flowers, umbrellas and “new tables on old sewing machine frames”. The interior has been renovated and is bright and friendly, with new design elements and a selection of Italian wines. The quality of the food has improved considerably. The kitchen staff and owner have revised the menu to include German and Italian dishes. There is also Italian ice cream – inside or to go. Wednesday is schnitzel day. The hall is currently being renovated so that events can still be held there. My favorite dish is Thuringian Rostbrätl😊I wish the owner and staff continued success.

We were there for dinner on a Wednesday. That's "schnitzel day" at the restaurant. So, apart from 6-7 pork schnitzel variations, there was nothing else on offer. Neither appetizer nor dessert, and if you don't eat pork, you're just out of luck. We sat around for ages after arriving before one of the two waiters even bothered to ask about our drink preferences. They then took a long time to arrive. We finally got the slip of paper with the schnitzel menu 30 minutes after arriving, waited again for someone to take our order, and then it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. When we paid, we were told that the wait for the food was because the kitchen only had a four-burner, probably a standard household stove. Which doesn't explain the long wait for service. We'll probably avoid visiting the restaurant again.

The food and service are top-notch. Prices are moderate. The beer garden is pleasant! We'd definitely be back. Best, Karin and Steffen Uhlig 👍

The new tenants are making an effort

Very tasty food, and very reasonably priced. The highlight was the restaurant's ice cream. The restaurant is also very dog-friendly. Our dog got water and lots of cuddles. We highly recommend a visit here.

Completely unassuming from the outside... You'd think it was a "garden pub" - far from it! 😍 Excellent food selection, great ambiance, beautifully prepared and presented. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Even a highchair was no problem. Our server was also super nice, accommodating, and fond of children.

I think I was there first. Food and service was top. The ambience reminded me a bit of the GDR. But you can recommend the restaurant. I think it's great for larger celebrations.

I agree with the previous speakers. Anyone who gives Mr. Höcke's brown sauce a platform must not be supported!!

Reißberg 04 is certainly not a gourmet restaurant. But for example the fried potatoes or the pan-roasted garlic bread are really tasty and rock-solid. The Thuringian Roster and Rostbrätel, which are grilled fresh every Friday, are also very good and of top quality. Service and service are also always very good, flexible and friendly. It makes me all the sadder that the fascist Höcke was given a platform here. For me, food and drink represent sociability and connect across all differences and boundaries. Höcke's fantasies represent the exact opposite and have no place anywhere.

Very good food, attentive, very friendly service! Isolde and Susi are simply great! Very pleasant atmosphere! We have held several family celebrations there and are always very satisfied! The outdoor area can be used so that children also have enough freedom of movement. Even just for lunch or dinner, everything always tastes great.

The service worked very well and the staff were friendly. But the food was pretty poor, small portions and a hefty price and the food didn't taste like anything, nothing seasoned, even my wife's food didn't taste like anything. It's a shame 😪

Very good regional cuisine - among other things, the trout is highly recommended. Always very attentive, friendly, careful and fast service. I always enjoy coming back. 😋

The dishes on offer are mostly tasty, although they obviously use a lot of convenience products. However, what led to the meager 2 stars from me were the tiny portions at quite steep prices. It's telling when you leave an inn hungry.

Bestes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis in Greiz und Umgebung und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen schmackhaft und ausreichend. Für den großen Hunger einfach eine Suppe oder 1Beilagensalat bestellen. Es gibt 2 große Räume, gemütlich eingerichtet! Kleiner Nachteil : Ein sehr lauter Geräuschpegel, wenn alles voll besetzt ist.

Super Service, das Essen schmeckt aber vor allem die Parteitage sind Klasse.

Als wir die Tür zum Gastraum öffneten habe ich mich sofort wohl gefühlt. 😍 Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und empfangen. Wir aßen zu Abend. Auf die Getränke mussten wir nicht lange warten. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und schmeckte uns ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend gehabt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 🙂

Hatten am Samstag da Klassentreffen, alles super toll, nur ein kleiner Punktabzug weil Portionen sehr schmal bemessen.

Schöne rustikale Gaststätte, am Wochenende gut besucht, daher immer vorher reservieren. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen schmeckt auch sehr gut, die Portionen sind nicht übergroß, daher sollten gute Esser eine Vorspeise wählen.

Wir waren am 2.Weihnachtsfeiertag da . Es waren alle Tische belegt, volles Haus und trotzdem hat alles super geklappt. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, die Speisen sehr gut und alles lief ohne große Wartezeiten. Perfekt. Vielen Dank.

Einen wunderschönen Weihnachtstanz haben wir erleben dürfen. Die Disko von Frank Friedrich ,, Dynamics" hat für die perfekte und hervorragende Stimmung gesorgt, sodass kräftig das Tanzbein geschwungen wurde. Auch dem Gastgeberteam sei gedankt für die kulinarischen Genüsse. Rund um ein gelungener Weihnachtsabend.

Mittwochs und Freitags wird gegrillt. Ein Getränk dazu und die Welt ist in Ordnung. Unproblematisch und schnelle Bewirtung. Das ist der richtige Weg. Ich wünsche Euch viel Erfolg für die nächste Zeit.
