Buffet in a sauna atmosphere. On a moderately warm day with 26 °C, it was at least 33 °C including high humidity from the koi pond in the interior. No open window. Anyone with a red head - naturally leads to more drink orders on a buffet day. 10 cm away from the neighboring table and so crowded that people were milling about in the entrance area. It's not a feel-good atmosphere. Recommended in winter - we won't go back in summer. The food is tasty but not spectacular. The younger service staff are friendly and accommodating.
No longer recommended.
We had the evening buffet and it was disappointing.
Food was cold and bathed in oil. Some things had no flavor and tasted like tuna in oil instead of baked squid rings. 3 of us are struggling with stomach problems. We reserved a table which was then given to another group, drinks were ordered and only brought after 30 minutes or after repeated requests.
Unfriendly service, eye rolling and sometimes the feeling of being ignored. There was a single waitress who was smiling and friendly (compliment at this point)
The food was really delicious! You can order the ingredients conveniently via your mobile phone using a QR code. The service is quick and attentive. You can get your own drinks - there is a good selection of soft drinks and water, which is completely sufficient.
Unfortunately, I have to take one star off: the access to the toilet does not look inviting. You walk past a kitchen entrance that is only separated by a shower curtain. The toilets themselves could be cleaner - the faucet is heavily calcified, the floor is sticky, and the stairs to it also need a thorough cleaning or even renovation.
If this improves, I will give it a full 5 stars on my next visit! :)
The buffet is clear but tasty. Unfortunately it takes a while until the food is refilled. The staff is friendly and helpful. I got a table without a reservation. If you want to eat good Asian food, you're in good hands here.
Hello and have a wonderful good evening.
I had dinner there with my family on February 21, 2025.
Mandarin has been around for a long time.
I even claim that it was already there when the cinema was next door. (the food bowl is there today)
Ok, ambience and impression.
Welcome back when Baywatch was still on ARD. The inventory furniture is so retro that it could become cult again. I found it really funny.
Service, an older person of Far Eastern origin (I don't want to write older Chinese) makes an incredible effort.
This is honest and warm.
Eat
First of all, this glutamate shit in buffet form where everything is constantly either empty or everything is cold doesn't exist here.
The four of us have 3 different dishes.
My kids fried noodles with chicken.
My wife 8 guesses
And I have a special plate with 2 dishes.
It was good, it was sufficient and it tasted like it should taste.
I absolutely cannot understand some of the negative comments about never again every chip shop and every cola being better than the food there.
Conclusion: again at any time, especially since it is so pleasantly quiet there that you can have conversations at a comfortable volume
I always drove past the restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look particularly inviting... This is also largely due to the ongoing construction site on Bonner Straße.
I ordered by phone. The food was prepared quickly and freshly. I haven't had such delicious sweet and sour chicken in a long time. There was also a sour and spicy soup, which there was nothing wrong with. I think the other dishes are also extremely tasty...the price-performance ratio is also right.
Thank you Hawan.
Had dinner buffet there again. Great selection of dishes that are ready to eat and dishes that can be prepared on request. Sushi is also delicious and so are the desserts.
Average-good buffet with a lot of choice...perhaps too generous an offer? I wouldn't need French fries, fried eggs, cauliflower, etc. at an Asian buffet. In my opinion, less would be more here...it's just difficult to freshly refill such a mass of dishes...dozens of different desserts alone are a bit beyond the scope...so unfortunately some of the main courses were only partially warm...most of the dishes were good...sometimes... but quite salty...unfortunately the only beer available is Bitburger on tap...the Bluna as a soda is very tasty...Conclusion: if you have a lot of time and are hungry, the buffet is okay...but of course a freshly cooked dish/menu in a "non-buffet restaurant" is of higher quality, which you can get for similar money but a little tastier.
We were in this restaurant for the first and probably last time on Saturday evening. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full at the time. At other restaurants you can hardly get a table on Saturday evenings. The condition was friendly. The ambience was not convincing. Among other things, a junk corner was set up next to the buffet. This was pointed out on a board during dessert. Throughout the restaurant you could hear the dish cart clattering across the tiled floor. During our stay, hardly anything was refilled at the buffet and what was there was lukewarm. The dessert was bland and sad. The pineapple was dry, the bananas were already mixed with chocolate and unsightly. There was no sushi bar.
The price-performance ratio doesn't match at all.
