Nice tender meat n wide selection for food. I was so full after a few plates. If y want a lot of food, I'd recommend. I think their menu is also nice. Workers there were very kind n garden was beautiful.

I can't understand all the good reviews! The food was mostly cold. Not even lukewarm, but completely cold. What's more, a lot of things had already dried out completely and the containers hadn't been refilled. All in all a big disappointment. We wanted to try something new, but this was the first and last time we were at this "restaurant".

When the weather was nice in the evening, we had a nice place to sit outside, the garden around it was inviting and made us feel good. The lady who provided us with drinks and food was very friendly and quick. The food was plentiful and very tasty. In terms of price, the evening wasn't very cheap, but unfortunately we know that from everywhere. We ordered from the menu and didn't use the all you can eat buffet. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the house and opposite on the market square. I would like to come back there. Even if the vegetarian offering on the menu is relatively small.

We were very disappointed with the China Palace, the service staff took a lot of time serving the orders, no smile, something in between friendly and unfriendly, difficult to define. The food (buffet) was plentiful, but most of the meat was tough and extremely fatty! Pasta overcooked, rice tasteless. All in all, not worth another visit!

The food is delicious and the selection is varied. Sometimes there are so many guests in the room that it becomes a bit cramped and annoying at the buffet. The restaurant always tries to fill up quickly. Depending on where you sit in the restaurant, it can be cozy or hectic. Sitting outside is also possible. Buffet for EUR 24.90 is a very fair price.

We were there with 6 people for a buffet meal. It is a very German buffet with a wide selection. After eating everyone wanted to go home quickly because everyone had to go to their own place quickly😖. I wouldn't have said the food looked greasy, but I'm assuming that was our problem. The atmosphere and the staff were and are very nice.

We have already tried several buffet Chinese restaurants in the area and we simply like it best here. Only when it comes to dessert is the selection somewhat limited. Staff is friendly. You only feel a little cramped when it's busy, but if the weather is right you can sit outside. Definitely happy to come back 😄

You can experience unlimited Chinese cuisine for around 20 Euros. This place can definitely be an “Experience restaurant”. Meals were prepared with care. Employees are always attentive. You can find many local flavors you will want to try here. Unfortunately, the prices of beverages are a bit high.

The selection at the buffet is incredibly large and the taste is also great. There are also unusual things like ostrich steak or shark steak. Only recommended

There are better alternatives in the area. Unfortunately very full, therefore lack of ambience. Also expensive (24.90€ buffet, 4.10€ for 0.4L of cola). Under no circumstances should you eat sweet and sour pork, it doesn't taste good at all.

From our point of view, one of the best “buffet Chinese restaurants” in terms of taste. Typical of the European palate :-) The selection is good and we liked everything. The selection of the dessert area was a bit poor - or we weren't looking properly? :-) We were there on a Saturday, where the buffet price is more expensive than usual during the week at lunchtime. In my opinion not justified. But if you only have time on Saturday lunchtime, you have to accept that. The buffet and the selection are no better than during the week. Drink prices okay. The ambience is the burner. Rather dark, which I personally like very much. However, everything seems very cluttered. No space wasted. But you won't be overrun by other guests. Space simply completely utilized. Beautiful winter garden and even a nice outdoor area. Our waiter seemed a bit stressed and not entirely friendly due to his manner. Therefore a small star deduction for service. But that's probably also because there were only two service staff in the restaurant. You can understand the opening times every day. Unfortunately almost an hour away from us. But we were certainly not there for the last time. We can only recommend it.

The restaurant has been around in this form for many years and is very popular. Very large restaurant. Extensive buffet with sushi, fried foods, lots of seafood, curry, various side dishes, grill buffet and a selection of desserts. Most of it is certainly not authentically Chinese, but well done for European tastes. You should only go there if you're very hungry and make a reservation on the weekend.

It's a normal Chinese restaurant, like others. The food is standard. I just love eating everything mixed up as much as I like.

We've eaten here several times and it's always good. However, I can no longer recommend eating here on a public holiday. There are too many tables for the buffet area. You almost step on your toes there. On the positive side, however, it should be noted that the buffet is quickly refilled.

Depending on where you sit, the restaurant is really, really beautifully designed. It's a bit more hectic and loud at the buffet, but that's nice too. The garden or winter garden is rather quiet and highly recommended for a sociable group or just among yourself. The food is really excellent, both the buffet and the Mongolian stir fry included in the buffet is very, very tasty. The selection of fish and seafood in particular is really large and fresh. But it can also be seen as a card. Das schlechteste und unfreundlichste Chefin wo wir je essen waren. Tee ohne Zucket serviert, wir mussten 2x nachfragen. Wir sollen do oft nachnehmen wie wir können, nein danke, meine Mutter isst wie ein vögelchen, aber wollte sich gerne noch eine kleine Portion für den Abend mitnehmen. Da wurden wir von der Inhaberin harsch kritisiert und mussten doppelt zahlen. Meine Mutter ist 87, Konfektionsgröße 36 und durch ihr Gebiss kann sie kaum etwas essen, bekommt zu Hause essen auf rädern, Besuch sollte eine kleine Abwechslung sein. Ich konnte kaum etwas essen: Suppen alle leer, fast alles frittiert, kaum Auswahl für mich als Vegetarier. Keine Beschriftung der Speisen. Nachtisch dosenobst und billiges Eis. Kellner entschuldigte sich bei uns, Chefin habe wieder schlechte Laune! Nie wieder!

We have been here many times and we always enjoyed it. But there was probably too much activity on this Sunday. The employees tried their best and were, as always, very friendly. Still, many of the food containers were 20-60min. empty. We didn't see calamari or Chinese soup at all that evening. Chicken wasn't cooked through (still wobbly.) No, this time it was nothing. It was embarrassing that we persuaded friends to go out for Chinese food with us for the first time. We will give the restaurant another chance, but our friends won't. I can only give the hygiene measures 1 star. Hygiene items were empty and the sheets with the guests' details were lying around on the tables until they were cleared away. Nobody was interested in whether and how you register. Addendum 03/08/24 So, that was it for us. It's no longer fun to eat here. It now feels as if you are in a factory canteen (only much louder). The clientele has probably changed, we were almost the only Germans. Everything in Russian/Ukrainian? Hand. You feel like you're on an all-in vacation. The plates are filled until nothing more fits on them, but I didn't even see that even one plate was eaten empty. My son-in-law and I tried to get duck 4 (four) times that evening. Without success! My heart swells when I think about the fact that I'm helping to finance these gluttons with my money. We no longer see the point of spending 25 euros on this in the future. (6 people) Now we're looking for something else!

The best restaurant for Chinese buffet in the Cologne area so far! We eat there quite often, as my daughter (now 2 years old) never has a problem finding food that is Asian (not fries or nuggets). Reasonably priced. The selection of dishes is also good at lunchtime. There are more than enough high chairs.

Very good for a Chinese restaurant. In the evenings, especially on weekends, it is often very crowded and you should definitely reserve a table. There were two of us who didn't make a reservation and were sent away again. The staff tried everything to organize a place for us. The buffet is very extensive and tastes very good. Of course there are also desserts. Clear recommendation

Unfortunately quite disappointing. There was no service. Drinks were only available at the beginning and the buffet was half empty. Since I enjoy criticism myself, we naturally addressed it. A typical all u can eat Chinese with Mongolian grill. A nice and large selection of ready-made meals and these are refilled quite quickly. Prices are okay, but what is worth mentioning is that there are plenty of parking spaces right in front of the house (possibly no longer during the typical peak times). All in all, it's always worth a visit.

As a regular guest (on average 3-5 times a month) I am more than disappointed today. The buffet wasn't replenished. The new service was already unfriendly on the last visit. At 9:20 p.m. we were asked if we still wanted to eat??? Shortly afterwards, there was a loud tidying up for 45 minutes and the cutlery clattered so that we could barely hold a conversation. At 10:15 p.m. we got the drink from the house. We weren't asked if we wanted to order anything else. Upon request, it was rudely confirmed that it was open until 11 p.m. At 10:45 p.m. I, as a woman, was presented with the bill with the words: "Cash or card?" We wanted to pay separately which was not possible. Conclusion: Since I was otherwise enthusiastic, I'll give it another try. Then I decide whether to go back to 5* or change restaurant.

Experienced really miserable service there for the first time today! And it wasn't refilled properly either. Almost brash loudness when cleaning up and very unfriendly! I hope next time it's like before and I'll be happy to give it 5 stars again🌟

Even though there were a lot of people there, the food was very good. The service was great and the staff very competent...we had a menu for two. If only a little more meat could have been offered.

Leckeres All you Can eat Buffet!

A large and beautifully decorated restaurant that is regularly at full capacity. Our round table enabled good communication with 8 people. The waiter was very attentive, only the seating reservation was a little more complicated. The food impresses with its selection: from fries to sushi. A highlight are the raw meat and vegetable offerings, which are freshly prepared with a sauce of your choice, including salmon, shark and lamb. The only thing I didn't like was the sauces.

We were there for our birthday with 14 people, and a large table was beautifully decorated for us. The food from the buffet was always plentiful, you could also try sushi and eating from the Mongolian grill never took long.

Great service and very tasty food. Due to water damage we had to quickly find a new location. A call to China Palace and three hours later we were able to celebrate there with 17 people even though the restaurant was completely booked. That's what I call customer service, maintaining it this way despite the restaurant being full. We would like to thank the staff at China Palace for this great effort.

Great buffet, both the Mongolian part and the Chinese one, nice waiters and fair prices. One star deduction for the tables and chairs being too close together. You can actually always participate in the neighbors' conversations whether you want to or not because they are basically sitting on your lap.

Nettes Restaurant, ein wenig Massenabfertigung über großes Buffet, das etwas überteuert ist.

Freundlicher Service und eine sehr große und leckere Auswahl am Buffet. Wer asiatische Küche mag ist hier richtig.

Eingetreten um 20 Uhr ohne Reservierung. Trotz Auslastung problemlos einen Tisch für 4 erhalten. Optisch ansprechende Dekorationen und logische Anordnung der Speisen. Abendbuffet für 24,90€ (Stand 3.1.24) inclusive Sushi, Dessert und Koch der Fleisch und Gemüse nach Wunsch brät. Die Kellner sind elegant gekleidet und stören weder die Essenserfahrung noch bei der Auswahl der Speisen. Die Speisen werden zügig und unauffällig aufgefüllt. Nach dem Mahl wird ein Glas Lycheesaft mit Eis gebracht, was persönlich gesehen sehr passend war zum Abschluss. Gegessen habe ich 4 Hauptteller und 4 Dessertschüsseln. Bei den Tellern wurde Ich nicht müde von der Auswahl, da der Geschmack von jeder Speise einzigartig war. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die frittierte Gyoza und die gebackenen Süßkartoffeln. Das einzige Störende waren die stumpfen Messer, weshalb Ich die Verzehrweise mit Stäbchen empfehle.

Es war alles sehr gut und das Essen war sehr köstlich. Wir hatten Ente süß sauer und Ente Kanton Art. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr voll. Das Sushi am Buffet war schon eingetrocknet und älter. Das übrige Essen war eher Massenabfertigung.

Der Laden ist ganz nett eingerichtet. Jedoch sehr groß und wenn was mehr los ist auch etwas laut. Wir waren zum Buffet Essen da. Die Qualität der Speisen ist ok. Vom mongolischen Grill waren wir leider enttäuscht. Die Zubereitung hat uns leider nicht geschmeckt. Der Preis für das Buffet war jedoch fair.

Ich war am Sonntag das erste Mal dort essen. Wir haben uns vom Buffet unser Essen geholt. Und da liegt auch mein größter negative Eindruck. Das Essen war schlichtweg zu niedrig temperiert. Aufgrund des stark frequentierten Buffets dürfte dies eigentlich nicht passieren. Schade eigentlich denn wenn das essen warm gewesen wäre hätte das Restaurant fünf Punkte von mir bekommen. In der Tat sind nämlich alle Speisen gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Sitzplatz ist knapp bedacht, also etwas eng. Aber daran gewöhnt man sich. Der Preis von ca. 20 Stunden wäre ok, wenn das Essen auch warm wäre. Für kalte Speisen aber nicht.
