It was very busy, so there was a lot of crowd at the buffet. Unfortunately, everyone eats too much glutamate.

So far everything is delicious and good... all you can eat...

The food is excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant is often very busy and therefore loud. However, the service is friendly and the food is really recommended.

The China 🇨🇳 Restaurant in Refrath Is centrally located and offers you some delicious food and drinks to select. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The delicious buffet selection includes, for example, crispy duck, breaded chicken breast, fried potatoes, breaded fish 🐠, shrimp, prawns, thick rib, and much more with a lot to choose from. As the name suggests, the ambience is of Chinese restaurant origin.

For me it has been the best Asian buffet in the area for years. The food quality and service impress every time.

Very disappointing, you book for the price stated on the internet and you simply change the prices just because it's Christmas 😡. In addition, the buffet is constantly empty, the food is sometimes very cold, hardly refilled and unfortunately it doesn't taste good at all... If you can't cope with the Christmas business you should leave it alone.. Unfortunately that was the last time

We went to China Palace for Christmas dinner today and it was great as always. Today's buffet left you speechless. Nothing was missing. Even clams and king prawns (cooked or raw with lemon) were always replenished in abundance. The dishes all taste very good and, above all, are still very warm and not, like in other restaurants, cold before they are on the plate. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the staff remained friendly and calm. Despite the many guests, the volume was very pleasant. The extremely nice boss, who is always on site, has the store well under control. We are always happy to take the route from Porz to Refrath and are happy to award 5 well-deserved stars!!!

We were there yesterday with 2 of my friends and we were told that we should pay, which I found quite unfriendly but I still understood. Then we were told not to break anything etc. In a very unfriendly tone when we were there for about an hour The woman in question came back to the table and said she was closing now. We were only at 9:45 p.m. and this restaurant was open until 11 p.m. We asked why we had to leave and she didn't answer. When we were still eating we were then rushed us We were told 2 more minutes, please hurry up, other guests were allowed to stay seated. Next we asked for a final drink, just like the guests in front of us got the same 3 minutes before. They said no, there's nothing left, please get out. I think it's an impertinence Dealing with customers like this is a real shame, the food was otherwise very tasty but the service is the last thing

As always, the food was delicious. But it was so full that it wasn't nice. People dropped their food and walked over without it to cancel. Accordingly, the staff was very stressed, which we completely understand. We absolutely didn't like the atmosphere today.

So the staff was super nice. I've seen a lot in my life. Was also in various tourist spots around the world. The fact that the duck, i.e. number 38.39, costs 20 euros each is at least 50% more expensive than anywhere else in the area, but it is bearable once. But €12.80 for a 1L Cola bottle to take away, I haven't seen that before.

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime. Unfortunately, the lunch buffet did not meet our expectations. The quality of the food was not good. My friend, who was there, had tried the evening buffet in the past and found it to be of much better quality. We would definitely not come back at lunchtime. Maybe I'll give the dinner buffet a chance in the future. We liked the atmosphere. The service was also good.

It still tastes relatively good for the price. The price-performance ratio for lunch is right, it's relatively cheap. I actually always get a stomach ache, I don't know if it's because of the overly spicy food or something else.

Always fresh meat, vegetables, fish and more, something for everyone. Me and my family always enjoy being there. Friendly staff. I can only recommend it. The house drink is definitely a must try.

You can choose between à la carte and buffet. Our friends chose à la carte. Were very satisfied. They didn't finish the portions, but the waitress immediately asked them if they would like to take the rest with them. We had the buffet and were completely satisfied. From sushi to classic Chinese dishes and desserts, everything is available. A huge selection. You can also have specialties grilled directly for you. There are also kangaroos, sharks and much more.

Delicious buffet food, the only drawback is that unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the summer and you sweat a lot. Otherwise I can only recommend a top shop👌🏼

My companion and I were pretty sick after eating! The food wasn't bad at first, but we later noticed how completely unwell we were and I had to go to the hospital because of the constant vomiting and subsequent dehydration. Maybe when it comes to all you can eat, you should pay more attention to whether the things haven't been sitting there for too long or whether they're actually fully prepared. In any case, I can't come by again - it's a real shame!

Nice tender meat n wide selection for food. I was so full after a few plates. If y want a lot of food, I'd recommend. I think their menu is also nice. Workers there were very kind n garden was beautiful.

I can't understand all the good reviews! The food was mostly cold. Not even lukewarm, but completely cold. What's more, a lot of things had already dried out completely and the containers hadn't been refilled. All in all a big disappointment. We wanted to try something new, but this was the first and last time we were at this "restaurant".

When the weather was nice in the evening, we had a nice place to sit outside, the garden around it was inviting and made us feel good. The lady who provided us with drinks and food was very friendly and quick. The food was plentiful and very tasty. In terms of price, the evening wasn't very cheap, but unfortunately we know that from everywhere. We ordered from the menu and didn't use the all you can eat buffet. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the house and opposite on the market square. I would like to come back there. Even if the vegetarian offering on the menu is relatively small.

We were very disappointed with the China Palace, the service staff took a lot of time serving the orders, no smile, something in between friendly and unfriendly, difficult to define. The food (buffet) was plentiful, but most of the meat was tough and extremely fatty! Pasta overcooked, rice tasteless. All in all, not worth another visit!

The restaurant always tries to fill up quickly. Depending on where you sit in the restaurant, it can be cozy or hectic. Sitting outside is also possible. Buffet for EUR 24.90 is a very fair price.

We were there with 6 people for a buffet meal. It is a very German buffet with a wide selection. After eating everyone wanted to go home quickly because everyone had to go to their own place quickly😖. I wouldn't have said the food looked greasy, but I'm assuming that was our problem. The atmosphere and the staff were and are very nice.

We have already tried several buffet Chinese restaurants in the area and we simply like it best here. Only when it comes to dessert is the selection somewhat limited. Staff is friendly. You only feel a little cramped when it's busy, but if the weather is right you can sit outside. Definitely happy to come back 😄

You can experience unlimited Chinese cuisine for around 20 Euros. This place can definitely be an “Experience restaurant”. Meals were prepared with care. Employees are always attentive. You can find many local flavors you will want to try here. Unfortunately, the prices of beverages are a bit high.

There are better alternatives in the area. Unfortunately very full, therefore lack of ambience. Also expensive (24.90€ buffet, 4.10€ for 0.4L of cola). Under no circumstances should you eat sweet and sour pork, it doesn't taste good at all.

The selection at the buffet is incredibly large and the taste is also great. There are also unusual things like ostrich steak or shark steak. Only recommended

From our point of view, one of the best “buffet Chinese restaurants” in terms of taste. Typical of the European palate :-) The selection is good and we liked everything. The selection of the dessert area was a bit poor - or we weren't looking properly? :-) We were there on a Saturday, where the buffet price is more expensive than usual during the week at lunchtime. In my opinion not justified. But if you only have time on Saturday lunchtime, you have to accept that. The buffet and the selection are no better than during the week. Drink prices okay. The ambience is the burner. Rather dark, which I personally like very much. However, everything seems very cluttered. No space wasted. But you won't be overrun by other guests. Space simply completely utilized. Beautiful winter garden and even a nice outdoor area. Our waiter seemed a bit stressed and not entirely friendly due to his manner. Therefore a small star deduction for service. But that's probably also because there were only two service staff in the restaurant. You can understand the opening times every day. Unfortunately almost an hour away from us. But we were certainly not there for the last time. We can only recommend it.

Extensive buffet with sushi, fried foods, lots of seafood, curry, various side dishes, grill buffet and a selection of desserts. Most of it is certainly not authentically Chinese, but well done for European tastes. You should only go there if you're very hungry and make a reservation on the weekend.

It's a normal Chinese restaurant, like others. The food is standard. I just love eating everything mixed up as much as I like.

We've eaten here several times and it's always good. However, I can no longer recommend eating here on a public holiday. There are too many tables for the buffet area. You almost step on your toes there. On the positive side, however, it should be noted that the buffet is quickly refilled.

But it can also be seen as a card. Das schlechteste und unfreundlichste Chefin wo wir je essen waren. Tee ohne Zucket serviert, wir mussten 2x nachfragen. Wir sollen do oft nachnehmen wie wir können, nein danke, meine Mutter isst wie ein vögelchen, aber wollte sich gerne noch eine kleine Portion für den Abend mitnehmen. Da wurden wir von der Inhaberin harsch kritisiert und mussten doppelt zahlen. Meine Mutter ist 87, Konfektionsgröße 36 und durch ihr Gebiss kann sie kaum etwas essen, bekommt zu Hause essen auf rädern, Besuch sollte eine kleine Abwechslung sein. Ich konnte kaum etwas essen: Suppen alle leer, fast alles frittiert, kaum Auswahl für mich als Vegetarier. Keine Beschriftung der Speisen. Nachtisch dosenobst und billiges Eis. Kellner entschuldigte sich bei uns, Chefin habe wieder schlechte Laune! Nie wieder!

We were 6 people. The reservation went smoothly. The buffet and the order from the menu were sufficient and tasted to our satisfaction. The staff was friendly and competent. We'll definitely come back sometime.

We have been here many times and we always enjoyed it. But there was probably too much activity on this Sunday. The employees tried their best and were, as always, very friendly. Still, many of the food containers were 20-60min. empty. We didn't see calamari or Chinese soup at all that evening. Chicken wasn't cooked through (still wobbly.) No, this time it was nothing. It was embarrassing that we persuaded friends to go out for Chinese food with us for the first time. We will give the restaurant another chance, but our friends won't. I can only give the hygiene measures 1 star. Hygiene items were empty and the sheets with the guests' details were lying around on the tables until they were cleared away. Nobody was interested in whether and how you register. Addendum 03/08/24 So, that was it for us. It's no longer fun to eat here. It now feels as if you are in a factory canteen (only much louder). The clientele has probably changed, we were almost the only Germans. Everything in Russian/Ukrainian? Hand. You feel like you're on an all-in vacation. The plates are filled until nothing more fits on them, but I didn't even see that even one plate was eaten empty. My son-in-law and I tried to get duck 4 (four) times that evening. Without success! My heart swells when I think about the fact that I'm helping to finance these gluttons with my money. We no longer see the point of spending 25 euros on this in the future. (6 people) Now we're looking for something else!

The best restaurant for Chinese buffet in the Cologne area so far! We eat there quite often, as my daughter (now 2 years old) never has a problem finding food that is Asian (not fries or nuggets). Reasonably priced. The selection of dishes is also good at lunchtime. There are more than enough high chairs.
