Unfortunately, this beautiful restaurant is no longer what it once was. I was very disappointed.

They didn't have anything that made you say "WOW". The cheesecake was frozen solid. There was way too much oil on the fried meat. I had a stomachache afterwards.

As a mongolian it is not Mongolian food at all! Its normal Chinese buffet and they just fake everyone who wants Mongolian food. So again again its Chinese food!

We ate there today and had the buffet, which included three drinks. The buffet had a pretty good selection, and the food was delicious. As a nice little touch, a robot brings ordered or freshly prepared dishes to your table. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, and the staff is friendly. I visited the buffet during the week around 1:45 p.m., 45 minutes before the buffet's closing time. I didn't have much time, so the buffet option was fine for me (there wasn't anything else available at that time). It wasn't very busy. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The food selection was sufficient (not extensive, but you can find enough) and tasted okay, but also nothing special or outstanding. As noted in another review, the best culinary experience for me was a piece of cake to finish off the meal from the extensive selection. The waiter didn't speak German very well. The bottle of water, which cost well over €6, was an unpleasant surprise. With this bottle, I spent over €20, whereas without it, the price for a lunch menu would have been more reasonable. Overall, "okay" to good.

First time there, and it's not worth a second visit. The staff try to be friendly, but you can barely understand them. At the buffet, my son accidentally bumped into a woman whose plate was extremely full. Things fell from her plate onto the floor. My son immediately apologized, of course. However, a very rude man came rushing up and immediately yelled at my son, asking him what he was doing. Conclusion after this experience: once and never again.

The cake served was unmistakably from Coppenrath & Wiese. You'd recognize it from the supermarket shelf, and right there, among all the other impressions, it would almost pass as a gourmet product. Ironically, the best thing of the evening was a store-bought ready-made cake – a detail that is symptomatic of the overall impression. The service was attentive but uninspired. Friendliness, yes, attentiveness, less so. There was never a sense of genuine passion for gastronomy. In conclusion: "Genghis Khan" unfortunately falls short of what one would expect from a Mongolian-inspired restaurant. Those simply looking for a hot meal and content with mediocre fare might find it here. However, those seeking authentic flavor, atmosphere, and artisanal cooking will be disappointed. Two stars – one of them for the honest frozen cake.

Unfortunately, this was a completely disappointing experience. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly, but that's about all the positives. The food seems anything but fresh. The meat was already dried out before it was even cooked, and afterward, it was as tough as a shoe sole – a real struggle on the plate. The sauces taste like cheap, ready-made items straight from a can – no freshness at all, no depth of flavor. The labeling of the dishes is sometimes nonexistent or confusing, which can be particularly problematic for allergy sufferers or vegetarians. The dessert consists exclusively of industrial frozen goods from Coppenrath & Wiese – nothing homemade, nothing prepared with love, just slapped straight from the package onto the buffet. If you value quality and fresh preparation, you should look for another restaurant. Unfortunately, this restaurant only survives on cleanliness and staff – there's nothing to be gained here in terms of culinary excellence.

After they finally left the restaurant, the owner came to me and told me that the group had refused to pay, citing my dog ​​as the reason. The fact that I had been repeatedly threatened and insulted throughout the evening apparently didn't matter. The escalation didn't originate from me or my dog. The group in question had already been there for some time and had continued eating, which makes their reasoning implausible. The restaurant, however, saw the last of me.

I ordered beef fried rice there last night to take away. The menu says it costs €12. But the owner of the restaurant charged me €12.50. This has already happened to me with the spring rolls, suddenly they cost €1.80 more each than what was on the menu. Another time I ordered four dishes to take away and paid for them, when I got home one dish was missing. A no go for me. And the quality of the food has deteriorated extremely. I won't go there anymore.

Unfortunately, this restaurant does not provide a satisfactory basis for a gastronomic experience that is both culinary and atmospheric. A fundamental overhaul of the offering and the rooms would be urgently needed in order to meet the expectations of a modern class of guests.

I've been taking the same dish there to take away for years. Of course I understand that everything has become more expensive, but the last two times I had to pay different prices for the same dish and there were maybe two weeks in between. In addition, the portions have become significantly smaller. Oh yes, and of course I've never gotten a receipt there! Unfortunately no more recommendation!!

Vollkommen übersichtlich,so voll Wege/Durchgänge mit Tischen vollgestopft was schon eine Frechheit ist am 1ten Weihnachtstag. Das Essen kalt,Chaos wie nie. Leere schalen keine Teller etc 30€ pro Person für geschlagene 50 min weil man es nicht aushalten konnte. Ständig musste jemand an den anderen Tischen aufstehen damit man durchkam. Wie man sowas ausgerechnet an Weihnachten abziehen kann ist eine Frechheit. Ich sollte sie verklagen und mein Geld zurück verlangen. Uns habt ihr Weihnachten mal so richtig verderben. Unmöglich! Unorganisiert das Geschirr wurde einem vom Tisch weggezogen. Nicht mal in Ruhe essen konnte man. Unfassbar was hier abgegangen ist. Wenn Uhr due deutschen Tradition so wenig achtet solltet ihr an Weihnachten schließen. Wir kommen definitiv nicht mehr wieder und werden niemals mehr eine Empfehlung aussprechen. Essen keine Qualität,es war nichts wie sonst,man komplett bemerkt das nicht nur der Koch überfordert war. Das Essen war kalt, Nachspeisen alles tk und dafür 30€ ekelhaft!

What I can complain about are some typically "German" comments and customers who always have problems, always cause problems and always focus on the negative, it sucks. The lunch buffet is sometimes very sparsely attended, so why do I have to assume that all the bowls are full to the brim when there are no customers and I arrive? Should the food simply be thrown away when no one comes, just so that there is always something there? I'm often there at lunchtime when there's little going on, I ask politely (FRIENDSHIP IS LIKE MAGIC) if I could get this or that, and the things are there in 10 minutes at the latest. The evening buffet is "expensive", but you get a lot on offer and you also have to pay for other people's waste. Sometimes when I see what people put on their plates and then take back, there should be a fine for this waste. In the end, the operators have to earn rent, additional costs, personnel costs and their maintenance, so how is that supposed to work if everything is getting more expensive but you would like to see your buffet price cemented? If you don't agree with it, you can eat a currywurst or cook something, but there is absolutely nothing that can justify leaving such an unreasonably negative review. In any case, I'll be happy to come back and I'm usually a happy, paying customer once a week. Thank you for your work!!!

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an zubereiteten Speisen und ein kleines mongolisches Buffet. Die Zutaten sind sehr frisch. Ein Schokoladenbrunnen läd zum Naschen ein. Das Highlight ist die singende RoboCat, die das fertige mongolische Gericht zu Tisch bringt. Das Restaurant ist groß, aber gemütlich. Ich besuche das Dschingis Khan regelmäßig mit Familie und Freunden! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen :)
