Went to the buffet; the price was right. The service was great.

A very well-maintained atmosphere at reasonable prices. Hats off to the meticulous and thoughtful decor. Everything is harmonious and nothing feels cluttered. The furniture looks new or well-maintained, and the restaurant is generally very clean. The buffet is relatively small, and the food itself may or may not appeal to everyone. Everything tasted a bit salty, nothing fancy. Just like in pretty much any other Chinese restaurant. But the price is very good, and everything else was fine.

We went there for the lunch buffet. Overall, we enjoyed it; the service was good, but the selection of dishes could have been a bit larger. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of sushi. Unfortunately, the ice cream for dessert lacked toppings, and I always wonder who actually likes canned fruit. At €13.90, the price was reasonable and fair. We would gladly come again.

We just had the Saturday lunch buffet here. The food selection is diverse and similar to other Chinese restaurants. However, the highlight is that the food is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and not too salty or greasy/oily. The atmosphere is spacious, cozy, and not too noisy. The price is reasonable. My husband honestly not a fan of such Chinese buffet but this time he was very satisfied and we will definitely come back again. We hope the restaurant can maintain this quality and strive to improve even more.

I find the restaurant itself beautifully decorated, but the food is sometimes a little cold, and I think the price is a bit excessive for the selection. The staff, however, are very friendly.

Today we were here with five men and three children. The liver tasted like cleaning products. The second time we tried the duck... We put it next to the liver. Then a chair leg broke. My son-in-law fell flat on his head, and the owner or his employees didn't react. They put the chair leg back on and said it wouldn't wobble anymore... A joke, I'm supposed to laugh. After five minutes, they asked for a doctor... we would have called one ourselves anyway. So, the bottom line: never come here again, and if so, only with first aid equipment and a horse's stomach.

Food is tasty, we are too many flies at the sushi

We were there yesterday. The service was very nice. The food was only lukewarm, starting with the soup. It's a shame.

My wife and I went to the buffet at the Mingo Chinese restaurant today for our wedding. There was always plenty of food, but it was almost always very cold. We informed the staff, but nothing happened. At €19 per person, it's too expensive for almost cold food. We won't be eating there again. Besides, there's only paid parking in the underground garage.

Very good buffet... Always happy to come here... But the lunch menus are also recommended.

Last time, the food was really good. Today, nothing worked. The noodles tasted musty, and the beef with onions was 70% onions. The sauce was as thick as pudding and didn't taste at all like usual. We gave the roast duck a 3-4; there wasn't much to it. So we'll skip the next visit, which is a shame.

Well, I really have to say, apart from the ambience, there is nothing worth mentioning as “good”. The price per person is just under 30 euros. In terms of taste, only 2-3 dishes were edible. Consistency of the entire meal is pure disaster. Some unused plates are still really dirty. There were several of us there. Everyone was sick the next day and had stomach problems and nausea. Not recommended!!!

One star for the food is still too many. Almost €30 for me and the other guests to go home with nausea and stomach problems.

Visité Mingo después de no haber comido allí durante unos 2 años porque siempre fue un restaurante asequible y genial. Pero después de lo que pasó esta vez no volveré a comer allí. Visité con mi hermana para celebrar un logro y nos sentamos en la parte de atrás del restaurante porque tengo ansiedad social y problemas con comer frente a extraños, cada uno nos dieron el buffet, tomamos unas copas y donde charlamos tranquilamente pero los camareros parecían molestos por nuestra presencia. Hablamos con nosotros con una actitud mal escondida y parecía querer sacarnos lo más rápido posible (vinimos durante el almuerzo y todavía estaban abiertos durante otras 2 horas) Después de terminar nuestra comida, llamamos al camarero para que pagara, él comenzó a hacer comentarios raros sobre cuándo comes, necesitas pagar por ello y cosas sobre cenar y correr, diciendo "¿por qué incluso pagar? Ahí está la puerta" fingiendo que es divertido pero con asco en su voz, eso nos hizo sentir realmente incómodos porque sonaba como si estuvieran donde insinuando que haríamos eso o alguna vez lo haríamos, lo que puedo asegurar que ninguno de los dos lo haría nunca! Queríamos pagar juntos, ya que ya le había enviado mi parte a mi hermana, ella quería usar tarjeta para pagar y tan pronto como dijo tarjeta la cara de los camareros se cayó, él se dio la vuelta caminó hacia la cocina y pude escucharlo en voz alta decir "quieren tarjeta" y que algo en otro idioma... Unos minutos después de eso llegaron otros hombres (supongo que el propietario) diciéndonos que el lector de tarjetas está roto y solo podíamos pagar en efectivo. No trajimos dinero en efectivo, así que mi hermana fue al banco (que está a unos minutos) para obtener dinero en efectivo mientras esperaba y todo el tiempo pude escucharlos preguntar a otros clientes "¿efectivo o tarjeta? " Primero pensé que podría empezar a funcionar de nuevo, pero cuando mi hermana regresó, oye, le pidió de nuevo "efectivo o tarjeta" a los hombres que empujaron ligeramente al camarero con el que mi hermana estaba hablando y luego fue como "oh, sí, el lector de tarjetas está roto" Mientras mi hermana no estaba, todo el personal me miró y dijo cosas que no podía entender mientras asentía con la cabeza o trataba de señalarme discretamente. Como mencioné al principio tengo una mala ansiedad social y toda esta situación me hizo sentir terrible y absolutamente incómoda. . . No sé si nos confundieron con otra persona o si solo querían incriminarnos para cenar y correr, realmente no lo sé... Pero la forma en que esa gente me hizo sentir ese día como un sucio y un criminal cuando solo quería celebrar algo con mi hermana es absolutamente repugnante... ¡Nunca más volveré a poner un pie en este establecimiento!

The Chinese restaurant Mingo is located close to the center of Rheinbach, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal after visiting the city's many attractions. The challenge of keeping food warm over a longer period of time is not always mastered optimally. The duck in particular was not crispy and did not live up to expectations. Many of the dishes on offer also seemed a bit dry and could have been fresher prepared. Another drawback was the jelly, which was far too thick and didn't have the desired consistency. The vanilla sauce also left a lot to be desired as it was very weak and watered down in taste. Here it would be desirable to take more care in the preparation. What should be highlighted positively is the friendliness of the staff, who always tried to ensure that the guests had a pleasant stay. Their service was attentive and helpful, which slightly enhanced the overall impression of the restaurant. In summary, the Mingo restaurant in Rheinbach offers a good location and very friendly service, but the quality and freshness of the food should be improved to ensure a better buffet experience. We'll be back to order from the menu, I think it could taste better.

Pleasant evening in a cozy atmosphere very nicely done. The food, a menu for two, would have been enough for three and tasted good. The selection of food is large and the drinks menu is extensive. The restaurant appears clean, as do the toilets. It was our first time there, but probably not the last time.

Unfortunately you have to give a star to write a review. I would prefer to give this minus 3 stars. Hygiene below all...., no understanding for the customer. You are told that no one cares about the customer's opinion, original sound. You should report these conditions. Never again and you are welcome to read all my reviews, I have never had to give such a bad review. Then ask for the full price, it's unbelievable. People, open your eyes when you go out to eat somewhere. It doesn't work at all

Spacious restaurant with a rich buffet, good cocktails and attentive staff

Super delicious food. There was always plenty of everything at the buffet. And everyone who works there was super nice and attentive. We are already looking forward to the next time!!!

Caught food poisoning, never again!

There are few authentic Chinese restaurants in Germany, and there are better and worse ones. This one didn't convince me.

I picked up two take-away dishes after ordering over the phone. The service was nice and the food was handed over to me as previously agreed upon. "Only one of the dishes was sopsue" we only know with a dark sauce". !? Otherwise the dishes were good and had plenty of chicken. Gladly again. H.White

The food was good, but not outstanding. I tested the restaurant several times on site and also picked up food to take away. The staff was always friendly, courteous and quick. The restaurant's prices are reasonable.

The staff was very friendly. There is an underground car park for parking or an entrance for parking opposite the restaurant. There isn't a lot of choice at the buffet, but there's enough to fill your stomach and it's delicious, we really enjoyed the food and the cocktails! We would definitely recommend this.

A nice little restaurant, either buffet or à la carte. The buffet offers enough selection. It's fresh and delicious. The price/performance ratio is also perfectly fine, €20 per person without drinks.

The service was terrible, I think it was the boss himself! He threw the cutlery at us and simply put the drinks on the table without comment! The staff at the counter, however, were friendly!

The Chinese restaurant Mingo in Rheinbach offers a very large buffet. Food is constantly being refilled there and is always warm. The service here is very friendly and helpful. A chocolate fountain is also available. Eating a la menu is also possible. There is an upscale atmosphere and the prices are correspondingly high.

For €20 all-inclusive you shouldn't expect culinary highlights. But the buffet is very varied and, above all, always freshly prepared. The staff is really very attentive and quick, both when it comes to refills and when serving the table.

Wir waren zu viert im Mingo. Alle nahmen das Abendbüfett. Das ist reichhaltig, lecker und jeden Euro wert. Auch die Getränkekarte ist gut sortiert. Ein kleines Manko gabe s leider. Der Espresso war nur lauwarm

Wie immer war das Buffet sehr lecker, der Service ist sehr gut und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Empfehlenswert!

Essen war sehr gut ,Freundliche Bedienung

Sehr schickes und leckeres Restaurant in zentraler Lage. Wir waren bisher 3 mal dort essen. 2 mal war alle Top. Beim letzten mal waren wir direkt bei Eröffnung dort, leider gab es das erste Essen nach ca. 30 Minuten. Die erste Charge war auch teilweise nicht richtig zubereitet (Frühlingsrollen von innen noch kalt und von außen warm). Vielleicht handelte es sich dabei nur um eine Ausnahmesituation. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, jedoch nicht direkt nach Öffnung.

Nach längerer Zeit waren wir im Mingo China Restaurant mal wieder essen. Das Essen ist unserer Meinung nach nicht mehr so gut wie vor Zeiten Corona - wir waren nicht zufrieden

Super viel Auswahl Garnelen in Verschiedenen Sorten zubereitet Lachs,Muscheln,Känguru, und das übliche was man. Sonst da Essen kann.

Ein sauberer Laden, die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war von normaler Qualität und bot alles was man aus den gängigen Asiatischen Buffetrestaurants kennt. Das Essen schmeckte gut und war Heiß ebenfalls gab es eine schöne Auswahl an Desserts, das hat uns gefallen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker , es gab sehr viel Auswahl und das zum Mittagstisch .Wir werden definitiv da noch mal Essen gehn,wenn wir in der Nähe sind

Essen ging klar war aber nichts besonderes Die Frau die dort arbeitet ist super freundlich aber es gibt ein problem:dort ist ein mann der an der bar arbeitet er schaute mit und meiner freundin die ganze zeit auf ausschnitt und uns hinter her Zitat wir fühlten uns sehr beobachtet und belästigt Lasst eure tochter dort bloß nicht alleine!!!!!!!!!!!! sushi war sehr lecker!!!
