The wait for the food was extremely long, the first plate I wanted to use for the teppanyaki grill was dirty, my knife was covered in fingerprints on the edge, and my neighbor's knife was dirty too. The place was hopelessly overcrowded and far too loud overall – the staff didn't even bother to make eye contact with the guests, for example, to check for empty drinks. The service robots were a bad joke. Even a fast-food joint has more attentive service. And when I put two sauce clips on my plate, I don't expect dry food. Definitely not going back.

We were here for lunch today after a long time. We used to like it better. The food today was only lukewarm or cold. The salad and dessert selection used to be better!

Huge restaurant with a loud atmosphere. Robots sometimes bring the food to the table. I ordered from the menu, not the buffet. Fried rice with chicken and shrimp. The food was far too greasy and tasted very bland. A portion of sauce costs an additional €4, which is a complete rip-off. I don't understand the crowds that flock there. Guests can create their own delicious meals from several types of meat and vegetables, as well as several side dishes such as fries, noodles, spring rolls, salads, etc. Desserts are also catered for: From pancakes to ice cream 🍨, everything is available. If you like Chinese cuisine and want to eat until you're really full, GourmetWorld is the place for you. Some of you may not even know what a gourmet is, except that it has something to do with food. The word comes from French and refers to a connoisseur who knows what makes good food special. But no matter how delicious every dish is, it has two major disadvantages! First, it doesn't last forever; at some point, everyone, whether gourmet or fast food fan, gets hungry again. Second, it doesn't save you from death. Everyone must die – even a lover of good food. Only ONE dish saves you from death and ensures that you're no longer hungry. This food comes from the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. He Himself is this food—in a figurative sense, of course. He said to his countrymen: "Whoever eats my body and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him, and I will raise him up at the last day," John 6:54. "Body" and "bread" are symbols of life—here, of the eternal life that the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST offers to those who believe in him. And for all who believe in him, there will one day be a feast in heaven attended by all the biblical celebrities. Compared to that, the buffet at GourmetWorld is like a bratwurst from the chip shop around the corner. But to participate in this feast, one must receive eternal life, and that happens ONLY through faith. In the Great Commission to his disciples, Christ said: "Whoever believes and is baptized will live, but whoever does not believe will not be believed." BE DAMNED, Mark 16:9. And if that happens to you, that's it for you with a super buffet, be it Chinese or German, etc. You've completely gorged yourself. There isn't even a drop of water to drink. The quality and selection have unfortunately declined in recent years, but it has become more expensive 🫣 I will go somewhere else in the future.

I'm more of a skeptic when it comes to new things. I'm always very worried and prefer to stick with old restaurants where I've never had any problems. Yesterday, however, my husband had the day off, and I said let's try it out, and what can I say? From the reception to the friendliness, the selection, the taste, and even the temperature of the food, everything completely won me over, and I'm glad I tried this restaurant. Unfortunately, our two favorite Chinese restaurants probably won't see us again. I'll only go here from now on. Thank you very much, and keep it up. Oh, we just went to the lunch buffet; they don't have everything there; there's even more in the evening. But it was completely enough for me.

For me, this is undoubtedly the best Asian restaurant in the extended circle. The food is excellent, the service staff is friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. ☆☆☆☆☆ are well-deserved in my opinion.

Yesterday, my first time at Gourmet World was unfortunately not that great. I wasn't at all impressed with the way the dishes were prepared. The meat was definitely on the grill for far too long. It was normal on one side and almost black on the other. The meat was very tough. The robot that delivers the dishes to our tables didn't bring us our food four times. After several discussions with the staff, my first ordered meal arrived after over 45 minutes. By then, we had already gotten our own food from the self-service counter and were, of course, already full. In terms of taste, this place just wasn't for us. We're used to much better temples here. What a shame 🤐

We received a very friendly welcome. Everything looks very clean and well-maintained. The plates were cleared very quickly. All the counters have hoods, so everything stays nice and warm. The dishes are very varied, and the food is served quickly. We were very pleasantly surprised and would gladly come back.

Very good food. The buffet is fresher and better prepared than in restaurants in the region. The chefs and cooks make an effort and monitor the buffet. If there are any mistakes, they immediately go to the kitchen and resolve the situation. For me, this is clearly the best Chinese restaurant in the area.

Good food and a good selection. We arrived at 2:00 PM because the online opening hours were listed as 3:00 PM, which turned out to be incorrect. The restaurant's opening hours were only listed as 2:30 PM, which would have been fine with us if the buffet hadn't been cleared away at 2:15 PM... Still, good value for money for delicious food. Coke (Afri) was a bit overpriced. Service was friendly. Therefore, only one point deducted for poor communication regarding opening hours.

It was partly unclean; for example, some dessert plates still had leftovers from the previous user. The ice cream bowls were also not all clean and some were sticky. Some of the food was inedible: the duck was too fatty, the breaded fish was completely soft/overcooked, and the jelly was horrible (too much water for the mix, making it tasteless, and above all, what was the point of the coconut stuff in the jelly)? Sushi and some other things were good...

As always, an absolute delight! Since we first visited here many years ago, it's been the only Asian restaurant we've visited in our area. The warmth, the generous seating options, and, above all, the quality of the food won us over from the start. From the plentiful, absolutely fresh selection of salads to sushi and hot dishes, it's an absolute delight! We always enjoy coming back!

After having to change our minds at short notice, we came here. The price takes some getting used to. In contrast to other comparable restaurants, it's higher than you'd think. The food was always plentiful. The selection at the buffet was good and appealing. It was constantly refilled, so the food was hot and fresh. Apart from the hectic crowd of hungry guests, everything was fine. Others could also get something fried. The fight for dessert, which was also very varied, finally tested our patience. Many mouths were queuing up to finish the meal.

Despite a short-notice reservation for seven people, we were seated at a great table. It was very busy on a Friday, but we didn't feel it at the table. While we had to wait at the buffet, all the food was hot and fresh (and we all took it). It was also delicious. The staff really tried hard, but some drinks orders went wrong, which was understandable given the crowd. The staff were very accommodating. Card payments weren't possible that evening, so we had to get money from Rewe. They told us it had been like that for some time. For us, it was a successful evening. The price for the buffet was quite steep.

-The food is typical frozen food. Nothing special. -Extremely greasy. -It's so loud, you can barely hold a conversation. It's like a cafeteria during rush hour. -Hygiene is so-so (The tongs could use more frequent washing. Some of the plates are dirty). -The decor isn't appealing. The chandeliers could use a dusting. -The baked bananas were at least a highlight. They were the best I've ever had. We won't be coming back. It wasn't worth it. Too expensive for what you get.

Excellent service, very attentive staff, best quality food

I'm only giving it one star because I never received a response to my email, which I criticized in a constructive way regarding the vegetarian options compared to "All-Eat." I can't recommend the restaurant for vegetarians, nor is there any willingness to accommodate a dish; if it's changed, they just tell me they don't have it. For example, at the buffet, there's no vegetarian soup, tofu, or other alternatives for vegetarians instead of meat or seafood. Absolutely disappointing; I won't voluntarily go to the restaurant again.

I went to Gourmet World with another person this weekend for the lunch buffet. It's considerably cheaper than the dinner buffet, but it lacks the teppanaki. Even so, the selection is plentiful and appetizing. We enjoyed it, and the staff are extremely attentive. Excellent value for money! If you want more, go in the evening and you might be served by "Bella," a robot. A nice gag. Reservations may be necessary in the evening.

We went for the buffet because our regular Chinese restaurant was closed. The ambiance and service were nothing to complain about; Gourmet World is really good in that respect, but the food was a bit lacking. There was far too little vegetable selection among the prepared dishes. There were only mushrooms and a mixed platter, and not everyone liked everything on it. Unfortunately, most of the meat was far too dry, and the salmon was just swimming in fat.

I was there again (June 2025) It's gotten even worse. The selection is smaller, the prices are higher, and the air conditioning isn't working. Downgraded from 3 to 1 star. 2024 The typical Asian buffet. No quality, tastes strongly of flavor enhancers. At first, you think, hmm... tastes good, but later you just feel "full."

Unfortunately, it didn't get full marks. I wasn't told the reason why Original Coke wasn't offered when I ordered. I ordered Coke Zero, but they brought me Diet Coke and said I had ordered that. They then went back and forth and said it was sugar-free too. The prices for drinks aren't reasonable; I pay the same for Original Coke. The food is good, and the selection is good.

It's quite tasty but nothing special, run-of-the-mill buffet food and a bit expensive.

A very extensive buffet with hot dishes, sauces, and salads. You can also have your choice of meat (including exotic dishes; kangaroo) prepared in the show kitchen, and it's then brought to your table by a robot. The staff is attentive and keeps an eye on the buffet, ensuring there are no gaps. Desserts are everything. Chocolate fountain, ice cream, pudding, fruit, wine gums, pastries, etc. Tastes very good. Deserves 5 stars. 👍

While you're eating, an employee drives a cleaning machine between the tables. This kind of thing should be done before or after opening hours. And always ask for a bill. Someone tried to cheat us out of an extra €25.

I immediately deleted my previously positive review. Was at the lunch buffet on Maundy Thursday around 1:30 p.m. and it was a disappointment! The food, even the soup, was cold! I was pissed off, that's not possible! In addition, the food was contaminated with glutamate, so that you would really get thirsty, and drinks were offered at outrageous prices (a bottle of cheap mineral water = 7.90 euros). I know this trick from many Asians 😁 , and the highlight was that a sweeper drove through the restaurant 45 minutes before closing while you were still eating! The store seems to be doing too well, but not with me anymore. 😡

Not very satisfied... Even though the store was empty, they were placed directly at the door. The guests constantly left the door open during their smoking breaks, so it was constantly drafty. Feet were cold as hell. When ordering the drink, the nice lady was so stressed that she would have preferred to choose my friend's drink herself. The mussels that had been placed on the plate could no longer be found when the robot arrived. The sweet buffet was no longer refilled and I could have licked the chocolate mousse off my fingers after I loaded it onto my plate because there was more mousse on the spoon handle than in the bowl. We partook of the buffet meal. The food was very tasty; some dishes were grilled a bit too long during the front-cocking process. The prepared dishes were very tasty and mostly relatively freshly prepared. You have to like the dining hall atmosphere, but there are also separate areas. On a Saturday evening, absolutely crowded, despite a reservation we had to wait for our table. When we were brought to our table, it took 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Unfortunately, the freshly prepared “Teppanyaki” only arrived after 25 minutes and was completely cold. Plates are also only cleared upon request. Unfortunately no longer recommended as there are far too many tables for not enough staff and food.

Had dinner buffet there again. Great selection of dishes that are ready to eat and dishes that can be prepared on request. Sushi is also delicious and so are the desserts.

The offering here is extensive and there is something for everyone. The buffet is always tidy, the food is fresh and hot and is refilled regularly. The employees are polite and courteous, sometimes it's a little difficult to find someone who has time. Drinks could be served with more service staff in my opinion. be enforced more. Too bad. But as is often the case, the service employees are at maximum capacity, but you are always served in a friendly manner and with a smile.

The staff were extremely unfriendly and constantly watched us throughout the meal as if we were in a prison. They kept coming to our table and asking us unpleasant questions like: “Why do you have so much food?” – even though we didn’t have too much on our plate. Additionally, we had the feeling that they were talking about us in their language, which was very disrespectful and unpleasant. Their behavior was rude, dismissive and even discriminatory. You weren't treated like a guest, but more like a burden. That was my first and definitely last visit to this restaurant. You can't eat there in peace with your family because the atmosphere is just unpleasant. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

We were there on Saturday for the lunch buffet. Quite crowded, a bit of a wait in line. But food was served by Service refilled. Quality was quite ok, the guests came from near and far, which again speaks for the price/performance.

For me in the region, the best of ready-made food and Mongolian offerings. Very nice employees, price performance fits. The shop is always very busy, so we recommend arriving as early as possible or making a reservation 😉 It's also funny that the freshly prepared dishes are delivered by robots, everyone smiles and the kids are thrilled 😊

The service is good or bad depending on where you sit. If you sit in the outer corner you have to run behind the service to get drinks because they never came past our table. Furthermore, the Robo Cat is funny, but since it happens from time to time that other guests simply take plates from other tables, it can happen that the plate is suddenly brought to the table by the staff after a long delay, of course cold and that maybe someone else has already picked at the plate or other unappetizing things that you don't want to imagine. It's a shame to put that in front of you. And that happened twice that evening. And the previous visit too.

Until 7 p.m., some children were romping loudly around the tables without their parents intervening. From 7:30 p.m. it became quieter, the lady in service clearly showed her displeasure and only came to pay once at the end. The food (plated meal, not a buffet) was good. Overall, this problem, that some children see a restaurant as a playground, is unfortunately widespread and reflects the parenting methods of their parents. 😣

What unfortunately doesn't work at all is the service with drinks. You have to speak very aggressively to the service so that you can get drinks. We were there last night for the first and last time. The service was very unfriendly and hectic. We reserved a table for 20 people and we all sat at different tables. We were very disappointed with the food as almost everything was lukewarm or cold. The freshly prepared one took a very, very long time. The dessert was okay. I was there with my family and thought it was great. There is something for every taste in the buffet, there is a play area with slot machines for children - so they weren't bored after eating and sitting still; and the robots were an experience in themselves anyway 😅 Some people report stomach problems in the reviews. I have a very sensitive stomach and a lot of things always affect me, especially in the evenings, but I felt very well despite 2 mixed plates and a mixed ice cream. I definitely wouldn't have tolerated the frog legs or sushi either; this is more for the adventurers. So it's best to eat what you know and can tolerate so that you don't end up with a stomach ache and a sad review! 😅
