Very nice inn. Very nice staff and very good food. Recommended.

A little crowded, great location

We were there for the Christmas party and a lot went wrong... several Christmas parties on the same evening and we weren't given the promised adjoining room. Instead, we were seated next to the regulars' table, which of course didn't make it easy to give speeches at first. The regulars' table was then very considerate and quiet in these moments. Thanks for that! Unfortunately the soup was really spicy, otherwise rather tasteless. The main course (burger with sweet potato fries) was okay, not the usual customs house quality. The desserts were always the same (vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries or with apple fritters), but some of the apple fritters were missing. At an announced Christmas party with over 30 people, only having 6 apple cakes is sad. I waited several times for more than 30 minutes to drink. Very sad! And to be able to order too.

Great local! Despite the “hut being full”, I received a very friendly welcome and was able to get the last spot at the counter. So I was able to experience the very professional and always (thank you/please!) very friendly interaction between the staff (/boss?) (despite the stress!)! Cheers!!! The dark beer is highly recommended and the Bavarian Cordon Bleu (with Obazdn filling and crispy crust was a poem - and you can't get really crisp fried potatoes from a cast pan anymore. So overall: absolute recommendation!!! I'll be back definitely again...

In reality, the portrayal of this hotel online is misleading. The hotel no longer has a restaurant and even the mediocre breakfast is delivered externally. The employee who prepared breakfast did not observe basic hygiene regulations and the guests' dogs roam freely in the dining room. We had a free update to an apartment. This was a rather dubious pleasure as it faced the main road and there were vehicles driving in and out of parking spaces with loud engine noises virtually all night long.

One of the last Bavarian restaurants where you can still eat a Surhaxe, which is incredibly tasty. Hopefully this type of Bavarian culture will remain with us for a long time. By the way, the waitress woman was also super nice.
