We had dinner with 6 people. Everyone was very impressed with the quality. The service was also very friendly and competent. The short small talk with the head of the house (sushi master!!!) about his previous gastro stops (Hamburg, Munich and Berlin) was great. We'll definitely be back!!!

Had dinner there with my grandpa 2 days ago. We arrived shortly before lunch and were able to take a seat. The ambience of the restaurant is okay. Completely sufficient for me. The boss and cook were very friendly and relaxed. The food was delicious and the prices were also completely reasonable.

Mit meinem Salat war ich mehr als unzufrieden. Hier stimmte gar nichts. Sicherlich liegt es nicht jedem Koch, einen Salat zu zaubern, aber drei Salatblätter 3 Scheiben Gurke und eine halbe Tomate für 12 € schien mir nicht angemessen. Obwohl wir auch Hausgäste waren, empfand ich den Service als unfreundlich.

Im ganzen Kirnitzschtal gab es kein Einzelzimmer mit Dusche mehr. Ich lief also den Berg nach Otterndorf hoch...und bekam ein Zimmer mit Dusche und Fernseher. Bemerkenswert war, dass die Betreiberin noch auf mich gewartet hatte, obwohl die Öffnungszeit der Gaststätte schon längs überschritten war. Ich bekam noch eine Gulaschsuppe und Getränke. Das ist ja nicht mal bei Hotels normal. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Gern wieder! Vielen Dank und viel Erfolg!

I like coming here to eat my kebab. Staff always very friendly and in a good mood. However, on the last visit the kebab didn't taste as good as usual, and there was a finger-sized piece of thick foil in the kebab.

Very schnitzel and steak-heavy like everywhere in Saxony, but honest, solid and down-to-earth cuisine in a beautifully located, friendly inn with history.
