These were the best tempura rolls I've ever eaten: a juicy filling in perfect proportion with a crispy, yet not too thick, crust. The fish was fresh. A dream! I'd happily eat here again and recommend it to others. Price-performance ratio, in my opinion, was absolutely reasonable. The music was completely to my taste (classical). The furniture, not quite. ;) But it can still change! I hope you stay here for a long time and receive the recognition your cooking deserves. I was served, among other things, by the chef himself, who was very friendly.✨

The food was reasonably good. Fresh ingredients and prepared on-site. And, as someone mentioned earlier, it's quite unusual to find an Asian Fusion restaurant of this caliber in a town like Sebnitz. However, the ambiance is mediocre, and the service by the young man is unfriendly. It's not unusual for the whole family to participate in a family restaurant, but politeness and hospitality still need to be learned. The dishes arrived quickly and not simultaneously. The drinks came from a bottle from the supermarket. Desserts are practically non-existent on the menu. In short, we were out within an hour. A bit of a disappointment due to the favorable reviews from others. Again, not bad, but we won't be back anytime soon.

The food didn't live up to the price. The noodles were yellow, probably drowned in oil. The oil must have been rancid, too, because the noodles tasted rancid. The duck was yellow and drowned in the oil, just as rancid as the noodles. It wasn't seasoned either. 31 euros wasted.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner yesterday. The food was truly delicious, and all the ingredients were fresh. Both the sushi and the peanut curry were absolutely delicious. The dining room is quite small and quite warm, but the food really makes up for everything.

I have to differentiate between the following: The food was standard. It was tasty, but just ordinary. BUT: We didn't feel comfortable because a child was working here as a waiter. We didn't know whether to call the police or not. A child having to work here is absurd. And it left a very bad feeling about the meal, and no one could enjoy the evening. I will never go here again.

The sushi was very well prepared by a sushi master. The owner of the shop was very nice. It's very sweet that his son also enjoys helping out. I highly recommend it.

We ordered a sushi platter for two and an inside-out osaki roll. The meal was truly delicious! The fish was very fresh, and the sushi practically melted in your mouth as you bit into it. The chef personally served us, prepared the sushi, and chatted with us. Even though we were vacationing near Sebnitz and had to drive for about 45 minutes, the visit was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

I was at Osaka Sushi in Sebnitz and was absolutely thrilled. The sushi was fresh and excellently prepared, the udon with peanut sauce was simply delicious, and the sour-spicy soup was seasoned just right - a real taste experience. The service was also outstanding: the owner and staff were incredibly warm and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. The relaxed music in the background further underlined the pleasant atmosphere. An all-round harmonious experience - everything is just right at Osaka Sushi in Sebnitz. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good Japanese food and friendly service!

I found my starter very strange, there were 2 spring rolls that were extremely thick and you could hardly cut the pancakes. The main course was very tasty but our waiter was a 12 year old who was very unfriendly

We have been enjoying sushi for 20 years and also know several original Japanese restaurants with chefs who have completed years of training. We were surprised to even find sushi in a small Saxon town. Due to the positive reviews, we gave it a chance with realistic expectations and can confirm that it tastes delicious, is reasonably priced and is therefore definitely recommended. You should especially try the one with the crispy grilled salmon skin. The nice owner rounds off the positive picture, making people happy to come back.

Unfortunately the fried rice and the fried noodles were burnt, you could smell them through the packaging. Unfortunately you can't get any food from it anymore. And more than €10 per portion.

We had dinner with 6 people. Everyone was very impressed with the quality. The service was also very friendly and competent. The short small talk with the head of the house (sushi master!!!) about his previous gastro stops (Hamburg, Munich and Berlin) was great. We'll definitely be back!!!

A strange dinner that ended in food poisoning. A case for the health department! My girlfriend and I wanted to eat there on Saturday evening. I was put off by an annoyed and unfriendly child's voice on the phone when I wanted to make sure there were still places available. We still wanted to give the restaurant a chance because of the good reviews. We were greeted by a boy and sat down in the seats assigned to us. We should move again because the places were reserved. Probably an internal misunderstanding, because no one came until we left. Not so bad. The restaurant owner or the boy's father seemed nice and gave us the menu and later asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a mango lassi which tasted okay but also cost almost €5. My girlfriend ordered a coke. The man asked “Diet Coke?” and added that they also had Coke Zero. My friend agreed. Nothing bad, but somehow strange to sell someone a Coke Zero when you want to order a regular one. As if to suggest that the customer needs it. Doesn't matter. We both ordered vegetables with tofu in peanut sauce. You the 16 (with udon noodles) and I the 18 (with rice). The boy served us, this time in a friendly manner. But a strange experience being served by a child. My food tasted good and it was a decent portion. My friend liked it too, but she couldn't make it. We asked to pay and asked if it would be possible to pack up the rest. The man brought us a foam plastic container into which we filled the food. It would have been nicer if he had taken care of it for us. I paid cash. It was a bill for €28 and I gave him €40 saying “Thirty-one please”. He mumbled “thirty-two” and gave me €7 back and asked if that was okay. Unfortunately I didn't say anything, but I think it's outrageous to take a €5 tip when the customer clearly wants to give €3, which is completely sufficient at €28. Aside from that, the service wasn't particularly good either. The best is yet to come. On the way home I felt extremely sick and had severe stomach pain. About an hour after eating I had diarrhea. My doctor says it was food poisoning. That's how the evening went for us. Overall a bad experience and a threat to all guests if the food is not fresh or overstocked. I suspect the staphylococci came from the mango lassi because my girlfriend ate almost the same thing and had no problems. Luckily, I seem to be the only one with that kind of experience at the restaurant. So please pay attention to the quality of the food, dear restaurant operators! And ripping off tips is not an option either!

Food okay so far. A little greasy, but ok. The service was good but seemed inattentive. In a restaurant it is necessary to wipe down all the tables in the morning; sticky stains on the table top can be avoided. In general everything seems a bit careless and dirty. Especially if the lid is sticking from the chili sauce. Put chili sauce in a fresh jar, wash out the old one and it's good. In general everything is okay, the store would have a hard time surviving in large cities with competition

We ordered yesterday and picked it up on time. The miso soup was like pure sugar water, the baked chicken with egg rice was unfortunately seasoned (like with this spiced vegeta) and the fried noodles had a similar taste experience. Otherwise it smelled great and was well cooked - just unfortunately over-seasoned.

Good Japanese restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty (we took the Udon crispy ent and tofu). The sushis (maki) are good. Just a bit special the spicy sauce they put on. So if you like the basic ones, take it without the spicy sauce. The servers are friendly and the place is nice.

With Osaka Sushi & Asia Kitchen there is now an excellent Sushi-ya in Sebnitz! When you enter the restaurant, you first get the impression that it is just a to-go restaurant. However, there is also a small and simple guest room. No stylish ambience, which often distracts from the kitchen. And when I think back to the simple dining rooms in Osaka's restaurants, it's quiet again. The preparation and quality of the sushi and the friendly service from the friendly operating family are absolutely top and can easily keep up with the diverse offerings in the metropolises. The price-performance ratio is right. If you want to enjoy delicious sushi, then head to Sebnitz.

Super delicious food, everything freshly prepared, great staff, super friendly. We took the food with us and it was still very hot when we arrived at our holiday apartment. They are super dog friendly too. Only to recommend if we go on holiday there.

The two of us came after a long hike to reward ourselves and gather strength for the next day. My companion had sushi and I had the vegetarian vegetable pan with tofu and peanut sauce. The The service was very friendly, the ambience was so mediocre (you can see quite narrowly in a “hall” with no view or soundproofing of your neighbors. The food was consistently very tasty and the prices were very fair, probably competing with the Czech prices . We would come again

The food was really great and, above all, quick. Service was a bit stupid because you were sometimes served by an 8 year old, but it was still good. The ambience itself is also completely fine, you can tell that it used to be a kebab/snack bar.

We ate here twice and it was great. The owner really knows his sushi craft and the udon noodles were the best I've ever eaten. The ambience certainly has little to do with a restaurant, but if you like small, cozy shops you'll be happy there. The second time we were there, the owner even came to the table for a chat and he was always proud of his sushi. The only thing that seems a bit strange is that his young son is still quite clumsy working there. Nevertheless, he does his job well and it will happen at some point. If we ever find our way to Sebnitz again, we would be happy to eat here again.

Very tasty sushi and, above all, very friendly service. We ordered the Osaka and Lady menu and it was served together on a lovingly designed platter. At our request, the cream cheese was kindly left out of one of the menus. Overall a great experience!

We were greeted by a child who said: “Eat here or take away?” Slightly irritated, we initially looked around the corner, as we were actually planning to eat there. The restaurant is more reminiscent of a snack bar. There are only 4 tables in the dining room. Popular music is booming from the speakers. The tables were sticking. We still gave the store a chance because of the good reviews. The child continued to “serve” us. "Beverages?" When we ordered a non-alcoholic wheat we only heard: “Huh???”. We then preferred a Coke. We had 1) a Peking soup (sour hot): Not particularly tasty. Very peppery. 2) Sushi: dry, but otherwise ok. 3) Peanut coconut with rice and chicken. Unfortunately not enough vegetables and the rice too loose. It was an absurd experience being served by a child (without please/thank you), then listening to hits the whole time. The sushi is definitely not the “best” as some people say - it was ok. We don't understand the reviews at all and would not recommend this takeaway “restaurant”. Addition: Based on the owner's answer, here's an addendum: Of course we paid. Of course, we did not receive a statement or receipt from his child (who also operated the EC device independently!!!) to prove this. We wanted to pay, the EC device was handed to us without a word and we paid. Of course it was debited. Perhaps the billing should at least be done by an adult if problems arise. The owner's comment doesn't change the rating for us - it just leaves us even more amazed at how a very young child can be given so much responsibility.

Overall a good shop. The food is delicious. The owner stroked me on the head, he acts as if we were friends, these attacks are becoming more frequent. And the hygiene is also really absurd - he almost eats with his bare, unwashed hands. There are always assistants here who drink with him.
