A beautiful and probably the only restaurant in Altendorf. The food is a little meat-heavy, but it was very tasty and there are also vegetarian options. At the end of the 3rd stage of the Malerweg, we were very happy to be able to stop here.

Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly, we had to wait forever for the order, then the food and again for the bill. The food was ok, the (apparently) thawed frozen vegetables were not salted. The view is magnificent.

Then you walk through your legs in stage 3 of the Malerweg and then arrive at a closed Gasthaus Heiterer Blick. “Friendly walking” and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Friendly ;)

A very big compliment. The food was extremely good. The spices are well balanced. The plates are not too overloaded but absolutely sufficient. The service is top. You don't sit for long without drinks. Care is always taken to ensure that the guest is satisfied. The view from the terrace is magnificent.

Great view, quick service, food was delicious. Prices overall reasonable. Price for 0.40l beer a bit high. The ambience hasn't been modernized for a long time. But it's not important in a place like this.

The room was sufficiently large and brightly furnished. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. However, leaving the window open overnight wasn't the best idea, as the traffic noise robs you of some sleep. At least if you have a room facing the street. One lady from the staff may have had a bad day. Otherwise the food was tasty and plentiful. Price-performance is good cheap 👍

Reservation recommended if you want to enjoy the beautiful view - which you can only get from the outside terrace. Unfortunately we weren't really lucky with the food - the veal schnitzel was very thick and too fatty. The consistency of the fried potatoes tasted like potato salad - unfried and oily. A pity. But definitely recommended for a drink with the view.

The view is great. You might want to invest and install panoramic windows that reach further down. This makes it even more attractive and will definitely attract more response as it ensures a better view. The food tastes good. Only the meat should be seared briefly and then cooked for a longer time at a low temperature. It was very dry. Service was polite and the food was at the table very quickly. Priced quite reasonably too.

More panorama of Saxon Switzerland won't be possible soon, but we were on the terrace, had a great view, and my favorite dish, and was 100% full. Directly under the linden tree, almost a hometown film feeling... always happy... highly recommended!!!

Thanks to the unfriendly welcome, we didn't even get to eat. I understand that you may not be able to get a space if the room is full, but you can also kindly inform the supposed guest of this. We were more or less ignored. Maybe people don't value tourists either.

Our Obzöner running bunch was hungry and thirsty after a 33km tour through the Elbi... And we were in good hands at Heiteren Blick... Super friendly service and food... Great. Especially freshly prepared even though it was an unusual time.. Half past five in the evening.. All 7 were thrilled... We'll be back... 🌞😎😉

Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations at all. The steak was swimming in fat, the vegetables were frozen and not seasoned at all. The ambience, well... the terrace is great! Inside is the furnishings from the 70s (?) We sat right next to the curtain of a stage (?) and were therefore very much on display. The staff tried really hard, but couldn't compensate for the ambience and the really bland and greasy food. We were really looking forward to dinner on vacation, but it was a bust. The pictures here reflect a completely wrong picture, unless we caught a temporary worker...

Dort kehre ich jedesmal ein, wenn ich in der Gegend wandere. Gute Küche, guter Service, gute Preise. Immer wieder gerne. Update 2023: Essen ist teurer geworden, das Bier war nicht richtig kalt und der Service hat nachgelassen. Schade!

Obwohl eine geschlossene Gesellschaft mit fast 20 Leuten da war, bekam ich einen Tisch. Das Essen kam mega schnell und war sehr lecker. Sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Hirschroulade zergehen auf der Zunge. Rotkraut sehr lecker. Super

Essen war nicht herausragend. Würzpotential vorhanden... 😉 Bedienung war nicht achtsam. Schnellschnell und störend überrumpelnd. Kann aber tagesformabhängig sein. Der Blick draussen in die Landschaft lässt die etwas faden Gerichte in den Hintergrund treten.

Das Essen war ok.Suppe mit Leberknödel war gut,das Steak mit Würzfleisch war dem Preis nicht anangemessen.Qualitativ nicht besser als in einer Mensa.Das Ambiente ist absolut stimmig und typisch für Markneukirchen.Top! Unsere Bedienung war leider gar nicht freundlich,man hatte das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein,kein Lächeln oder ähnliches.Sorry da muss mehr kommen.

Das Personal und die Küche gehen auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein, alle sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es sah sehr nach einem gut eingespielten Team aus, das mit Freude ans Werk geht. Sehr schöner Ort um zu Speisen und zu verweilen wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der Ausblick vom der Terrasse ist einwandfrei.

Wunderbarer professionell geführter Gasthof mit guter deutscher Hausmannskost, rustikal und mit herrlicher Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Seit meiner Kindheit bin ich immer wieder gern hier zu Gast und werde immer gerne wiederkommen - danke, dass es Euch gibt!!

Ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit einem sehr hilfsbereiten und zuvorkommenden Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut. Es gibt gut bürgerliche Küche. Preislich ist es im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants der Gegend Ok, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Auch die morgentliche Brötchenbestellung für Urlauber aus dem Ort funktionierte reibungslos.

Wahnsinnig leckeres Essen, unglaublich schnell serviert bei sehr gutem Service und ordentliche Portionen zum satt werden. Wir waren schon öfter hier und kommen auch sehr gern immer wieder.

Wir waren 2 Tage in dem Landgasthof,unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sehr sauber,der Küche vergeben wir 6 Sterne.Als Empfehlung,wenn ein Fenster im Zimmer einen Insektenschutz hätte wäre super.Wir waren die einzigsten Gäste mit Fahrräder, für mehrere würde es ein Problem geben.Die Terrasse mit so einem irren schönen Blick ist der Hammer.Alles zusammen sehr zu empfehlen.Und wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben eine kleine Wanderung an einen Regentag gemacht. Dieser heitere Blick mit seiner weiten Aussicht hat uns gut gefallen. Das Restaurant war gemütlich.Zwar ist dort Selbstbedienung was kein Problem war. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Gerne wieder mal .
