We ate 2x schnitzel with set egg and potato salad, and there was also a salad. Everything tasted very good and for less than seven euros per meal.
Absolutely great, big praise, keep it up!
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We were completely satisfied.
Thanks to the waiter Toni, who was always there when we needed something.
The friendly welcome and the good starter were followed by disillusionment. Pizza... not really rocket science... but here it was a fiasco. Looks great, but the dough... terrible... never had worse quality. Not delicately crispy, but a flat hard plate close to a tile, far from what Bella Italia is all about. Supposedly the dough is homemade... then good night and it's time to practice, practice, practice... "our customers love it like that"... OK... then that's how it should be... we won't become regular customers... and if a customer is dissatisfied for some reason... justified or not... an apology doesn't hurt anyone and an espresso can't fix the atmosphere in such a case, but it doesn't make you leave the house completely dissatisfied.
The whole thing was then topped with ever-increasing extremely unpleasant smells from the basement sanitary area.
We had a larger family celebration in the restaurant... Pretty inconspicuous from the outside, I was impressed by the rest. Very nice interior, very well maintained, the staff was really nice and accommodating... and the food... simply amazing. And in the backyard there is even a small playground on soft artificial turf for the kids. Everything has been thought of here and the concept is right. Highly recommended. I'll definitely come back again.
Were there for the first time today. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and quick. Very pleasant. I would have liked a little more meat. Will definitely come back.
It tastes quite good, but is also a bit more expensive than other Asian snack bars in Grimma. Service is difficult to assess when you pick it up yourself and the ambience cannot really be assessed.
We were able to celebrate our dream wedding in the monument forge in winter. At all times we had the feeling that the owner, Dr. Andrich has everything under control and in view. He knows what he is doing and what is important on a day like this. What was special for us was that, as a bride and groom, we had the great feeling of "being guests" and didn't have to worry about anything.
The ambience of the monument smithy is beautiful, the rustic old courtyard has been lavishly and beautifully restored and equipped. You wouldn't expect this modernity at all when you enter the courtyard and so our guests were also fascinated. The hotel rooms also have a very special charm and it's almost a shame that we only spent one night there.
The service staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Before a glass is empty, the waiters are standing in front of you with a new one and have also noticed what you like to drink. Several times I went outside as a bride and went from one conversation to another - often a waiter suddenly stood next to me and brought me my coat without being asked.
The food is absolutely top class - something special, super tasty and something for everyone. With the help of heat lamps, the buffet could still be presented outside at temperatures of around 10 degrees and was at the perfect temperature for eating.
The prices are always transparent and it's great that the basic arrangement basically includes everything you need for a successful wedding.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Monument Forge for making this wonderful day possible for us, which will be remembered forever!
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and inexpensive. We were completely satisfied.
Thanks to the waiter Toni was always there when you needed something.
If you expect service and respect, you've come to the wrong place! Despite having a reservation, we were first sent away and then sent up several steps with casual remarks despite being unable to walk. Very disrespectful.
Accidental discovery - we were extremely pleasantly surprised, just wanted to have a coffee and discovered an interesting menu. Service was super nice, we'll definitely be back!
Nice service but unfortunately there isn't a single vegan alternative here, the staff also seemed very overwhelmed with veganism, that's not possible these days. There are also vegan bbq sauces and steaks :/
An absolutely wonderful experience at the Schiffsmühle Grimma! The ambiance is charming and located directly on the Mulde River, perfect for a relaxing day out. I would especially like to highlight the service: consistently friendly, attentive, and very courteous. You immediately feel welcome.
The food was a real highlight. I had the beef roulade with dumplings and red cabbage, simply outstanding! Homemade, perfectly flavored, and beautifully presented. You can tell the love goes into the cooking here.
I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Schiffsmühle to everyone!
We had schnitzel with asparagus, pizza diavola and a junior pizza. The schnitzel with asparagus wasn't very convincing, the schnitzel obviously came from the fryer and the asparagus was overcooked. The Diavola was good, it could have just been a little spicier. The junior pizza was good. Additionally, the service was very friendly and the music was wonderful. The two stars blow the food.
