We celebrated our wedding in the adventure hotel “Zur Schiffsmühle” and it can only be described as “perfect all around”. From the very first conversation we had nothing but wonderful moments: loving and competent advice, an uncomplicated process and a transparent pricing concept. The rooms are fantastic and without exception all the employees are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our guests were completely thrilled by the beautiful location (especially the impressive winter garden), the excellent food and the incredibly outstanding service. We made the best choice for our wedding celebration and will continue to enjoy these great experiences for a long time. Thank you for making this day with you so great!

Today we were guests again at this beautiful spot. As always, the food left nothing to be desired, as did the service in the beer garden, but we must have caught a young lady in the restaurant on the wrong day. Here the guest had to constantly work, help and put away... where can you find something like that? We are from the catering industry ourselves, a no go. The friendliness also left a lot to be desired. This gave the evening a bitter aftertaste. What a shame

Mixed, the price-performance ratio just doesn't fit. The expectations created by the prices cannot be maintained by either the room or the restaurant. The room with separate beds and a tiny bathroom for €160 a night and in the restaurant the asparagus was very al dente and also the roulade. The team was very nice and accommodating. The sauna on the roof is very nice.

Sensational!! Upscale gastronomy with corresponding prices. Extremely good in terms of taste, quality, location, service and 200% recommended. Price-performance absolutely reasonable for the reasons mentioned above. We love it ❤️🥰🤩

I was there for the wedding of a couple who were friends of mine. The hotel is located on Mulde, which is ideal for taking a walk when the weather is good. Nearby there is a small museum about the ship mill and a lookout point and Bismarck tower. If you hike along the Mulde you have the opportunity to visit the Nimbschen monastery ruins from the ship mill. The hotel's service staff was very friendly and averse to any of the guests' requests. The guests' needs were therefore taken into account and none of them were left unfulfilled. Both breakfast and dinner left nothing open. An extensive breakfast buffet offers young and old, vegetarians/vegans or not everything you need for a good start to the day. The dinner - I had the option of eating both a la carte and buffet - left nothing to be desired. The food was served quickly. In my opinion, it's almost a little too fast. This statement is not intended to reduce the overall rating. It is modern, good, home-style cuisine. The dishes are prepared with love. It should also be said that the food in the restaurant is slightly above average. However, the price-performance ratio is right. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished and of the highest standard. The hotel also has a sauna area, which is recommended. Afterwards, I can only recommend the Schiffsmühle, be it for a family celebration, for lunch or dinner, or for a (long) weekend to switch off.

With the boat on the hollow to the ship mill. Observed herons on the raven rock and the stones along the road. Great weather, great cloud atmosphere. I'm often in the Muldenaue. Today for the first time 25 minutes by boat. 3 people there and back €27.30

Were only there as restaurant guests. Very polite and courteous staff. We got a place even without a reservation, even though it was mill day and everything was well attended. The drinks and food were very tasty. So we ended the day and were completely satisfied. The entire hotel and outdoor area also makes an inviting impression. Would love to come back.

Als Wiederholungstäter und nach einer längeren Radtour, wurden wir hier bestens bedient und verwöhnt. Die Qualität vom Essen spricht von sich und ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Great hotel with a variety of options for leisure activities and relaxation

Stayed for one night on our way home from Poland. Lovely countryside. The food was amazing! Staff friendly and welcoming.

Great house, idyllically located right on the Mulde. There are enough free parking spaces in front of the hotel. The welcome was warm and the rooms were very clean. I visited the sauna in the evening, it was a highlight of the hotel. At breakfast the common thread continued, there is nothing to complain about. I will gladly come again

Nice, quiet hotel for relaxing, hiking and cycling. The average age of the guests is mixed. But the staff is consistently very friendly and attentive. We always try to implement customer wishes as far as possible. The rooms are not huge, but clean.

We had dinner here today after a walk along the Mulde. It was super tasty. The staff is also very friendly, even though the restaurant was full of bus passengers. We recommend!

The adventure hotel is located on the Mulde and is well received. The terrace is very unique and it's fun to dine there. The offering is appealing and the service is very friendly. There are always enough parking spaces available and a playground is a delight for younger guests. You can take a walk along the Mulde, take a boat trip or take a ferry. All highly recommended.

We were in the restaurant as a large group and were looked after very well. Drinks and food were very good. Only the vegetarian dish wasn't that tasty. The location right on the Mulde is very good. You should definitely take a look at the ship mill. There is plenty of parking space and the access is very well signposted.

We were invited to the diamond wedding. We liked it very much. The service and food were fantastic. We were able to use the bowling alley (it was reserved in advance) the alley is rustic and cozy. We were also entertained. Outdoor area - There is a nice playground. There is opportunity to play mini golf and go for a walk. There is a small pond and sun terrace.

We just went on a short vacation to the adventure hotel at Easter 2024. Our room was spacious and clean. The balcony was very nice with a view of the beer garden and the Mulde. The service was top. The breakfast was also varied, there was something for every taste. The Easter festival with the Easter fire was very well organized. 👍 All in all a very nice holiday, thank you very much.

Nothing is perfect but we work every day to make it work. It was great. Gladly again..

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and overall we felt very comfortable. The pine suite 1 is highly recommended, we lived very quietly with a fantastic view of nature and the adjacent hollow. The food in the restaurant is a bit more expensive, but you get excellent quality, the portions were sufficient and very tasty. The hotel room was very clean and hospitably furnished. There was even a chilled bottle of champagne available. There is a small tea and coffee station in the room. The staff is friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast is very tasty and rich. There is something for every taste. For my birthday there was even a little treat at the breakfast table and the staff congratulated me. The surrounding area is wonderfully beautiful, with pure nature all around and invites you to take long walks, hikes or bike rides. Overall, it was a successful stay for us and we will definitely come back again. Thank you for everything !

A cozy hotel in the middle of nowhere. The food at the restaurant was excellent, the rooms and bed are standard.

Went for a walk today...and stopped in for a beer and a coffee...the service, Mrs. P., turned a blind eye...no greeting, no hello...nothing..1. Drinks menu for 5 people...and the order was taken without a word...the service person who brought the beer...was the complete opposite...open-minded and friendly...there were no tips for the friendliness. If there is a conversation about how to deal with paying customers... maybe you had a bad day too🤷🏽 Otherwise always happy

It's a shame, the ship mill is actually in a nice location, the food is great. The ambience is nice, the staff are nice, it is very clean and tidy. But all of this is of no use if you can't sleep. At least in room 211 you can only sleep if you have had two bottles of wine or are hard of hearing. A compressor, diesel generator or marine diesel engine seems to be running under the room all night long, terrible. Even with toilet paper in your ear or a pillow on your ear. Unfortunately, sleep was out of the question. Otherwise everything is 5 stars except room 211.

A ship mill is a mill, what used to be a ship mill. Now there is a guesthouse or a hotel chain or a great place to eat and drink here, where you can eat your fill or become a meeting place. Visitors come here and near and far at the ship mill you can probably be there and eat like that. This is also really good, I just enjoy it. You guys, let's see what's there. You can taste good at the Schiffmühle. Grimma is not far from the bike path. Here or there you can just stop here because we think there's always something good here at the Schiffmühle.

Schön im Grünen gelegen. Nach einem ausgiebigen Spaziergang in der Nähe sind zum Essen in der Schiffsmühle eingekehrt.

Essen ist klasse, Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Lage ist perfekt. Nur zu Feiertagen ist es einfach zu unruhig.

Leckeres Essen. Trotz hohem Andrang freundliches Personal und schnelle Bedienung. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Für die Zimmer kann ich leider keine Bewertungen geben. Wir waren nur kurz hier.

Hatten eine Weihnachtsfeier da und ich habe den Abend sehr genossen. Übernachtet haben wir nicht, weil wir gleich von "Nebenan " aus Grimma kommen. Daher keine Bewertung für die Zimmer.

Top Restaurant und Hotel in einer ruhigen Lage Dierekt an der Mulde.

Weitläufige Anlage in etwas gewöhnungsgedürftigem "Après-Ski-Hütten-Look; freundliches Personal und reichhaltiges Frühstück, im Zimmer leider anhaltendes Lüftergeräusch und ein eng bemessenes Bad.

Liegt an einem sehr schönen Ruhigen Ort,inmitten von viel Natur,schönes Hotel, mit Sauna,Bowling Bahn einem sehr guten Restaurant mit Außenbereich, Speisen und Getränke sind gut kommen immer wieder gern vorbei, auch super für Familien Feiern.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Meine Partnerin und ich haben in einem Hotel noch nie sooooooo gut geschlafen!👍🙏Es war traumhaft!!!🥳 Das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker!!!! 🥰☺️

Die Lage ist schon sehr schön für Ausflüge ab Haustür oder in die Umgebung. Die Zimmer sehr gemütlich. Der Knaller aber ist das Restaurant. Man sitzt gemütlich, die Innenausstattung ist sehr fein und durchdacht. Die Küche ist hochzuloben . Feine Gerichte, die mit ihrer Ausführung dann auch noch überraschen! Danke

Sehr guttes Essen, ruhige Lage.

Das Hotel liegt abseits von Grimma in einem Waldbereich. Bietet aber alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben die Bowling-Bahn getestet, die sich auf einem technisch aktuellem Niveau befindet und viel Spaß bereitet hat. Das Abendessen kann aus einer umfangreichen Karten ausgewählt werden, die natürlich auch regionale Aspekte berücksichtigt. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die zahlreichen Bierspezialitäten, die frisch vom Fass gezapft werden. Aber auch der Weinliebhaber kommt auf seine Kosten. Ein rundum gelungenes Konzept. Schade, dass wir dort nicht übernachtet haben und ich somit nichts zu den Zimmern und den Frühstück sagen kann.

ABGEKLEBTE BRANDMELDER FAND ICH ÜBERHAUPT NICHT WITZIG!!!! Hotel gut und sauber, über die Kiefer Ausstattung lässt sich sicherlich streiten. Lage ist schön. Frühstück ist gut und reichlich, dass es nur Kaffee gibt und keinen Cappuccino oder ähnliches ist etwas enttäuschend. Die Saunen sind gepflegt und neu, ein Besuch lohnt sich. Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich.

So ein gutes hotel hatten schon lange nicht mehr gebucht. Außerordentlich sauber, professioneller Service und gute Küche. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte würde ich etwas regionaler anpassen. Im Zimmer fehlt eine Senderliste der Fernsehprogramme. Kommen gerne wieder.

Unsere Hochzeitsfeier war ein riesen Erfolg. Es hat von der Planung mit Frau Kaiser bis zur Durchführung von Max und dem Serviceteam alles perfekt funktioniert. Die Patisserie und das Küchenteam haben eine tolle Arbeit geleistet, alle Speisen und Getränke waren auf einem extrem hohen Niveau. Das Serviceteam ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen und das Brautpaar sowie alle Gäste haben sich von Anfang an komplett wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, Sauber und hochmodern, es hat perfekt zu einer Hochzeit gepasst. Auch die Bowlinggrotte ist toll dekoriert und sorgte für eine wilkommene Abwechslung. Die Zimmer waren einwandfrei und alle Übernachtungsgäste haben super geschlafen. Das Frühstück hat ein wunderbare und reichhaltige Auswahl, welche ein rundes Ende für uns und die Gäste ermöglichte. Es ist immer wieder schön hier her zu kommen! Wir sind sehr gern zu Familienfeiern hier. Die Schiffsmühle ist super ruhig gelegen, mit ausreichenden Parkplätzen, einer schönen Anlage und gemütlichen Zimmern. Auch das Essen im Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen. Zur Freizeitgestaltung bietet die Schiffsmühle auch einiges; von einer Bowling-Grotte, über eine liebevoll angelegte Minigolf-Anlage und dem Museum bis zum Spaziergang in der Umgebung kann man einiges entdecken. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft; wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch

Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen in ruhiger Lage für jederman der mal komplett abschalten möchte - Boling bahn und Sauna vorhanden - Restaurant vorhanden - Sehr gute Park Möglichkeiten auch mit Gespann - Zimmer sauber und ordentlich

Die Location ist wunderschön, das Essen hervorragend und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend! Auch unsere Gäste waren begeistert. Ganz besonders möchten wir uns bei unserem Chef-Kellner Daniel sowie Frau Kaiser bedanken!

Ein tolles Ambiente und das Essen absolut spitze..

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage direkt an der Mulde. Schöne Zimmer, gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Auch fußläufig von Grimma entlang der Mulde gut zu erreichen. Zusätzlich Schiffsverbindung zwischen Schiffsmühle und Grimma. Wer sich sportlich betätigen will, kann die 3 Bowlingbahnen in der Bowlinggrotte oder die schönen Wanderwege entlang der Mulde oder zum nahegelegenen Bismarck-Turm nutzen.

Tolles Hotel. Sehr beliebt für Familienfeiern. Aber auch zum einfach mal ausspannen bestens geeignet. Geheimtipp: super schöner Saunabereich im Obergeschoss mit finnischer Sauna auf der Dachterrasse sowie einer Dampf- und Infrarot Sauna. Da der Ruheraum auch nur für ca.10 Personen ausgelegt ist, ist auch nicht mit Überfüllung zu rechnen. Bademäntel gibt es übrigens gegen Pfand im Hotel auszuleihen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und traumhafte Umgebung. Allerdings wurden wir von einer pampigen Bedienung schon nahezu angefeindet. Bei allem Verständnis für das voll besetzte Restaurant aber die anderen Kolleginnen haben es mit der Freundlichkeit auch hinbekommen. Ein Jobwechsel täte sicherlich, Ihnen und auch den Gästen gut. Kaffee kochen im Büro oder so…

Wer Lust hast, einmal auf authentische Art und Weise die ganze Verbitterung Dunkeldeutschlands zu erleben, wird hier bei großen Teilen des Service-Personals voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Immerhin machen die Hotelzimmer einen sauberen Eindruck und die junge Dame an der Rezeption war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Daher wohlwollende drei Sterne.

Wir waren sehr überrascht, so ein schönes u. modernes Hotel vorzufinden. Frühstück war hervorragend, von mediterran bis regional, alles dabei. Das Restaurant hat Sonntags und Montags Ruhetag, aber das hat uns nicht gestört, da es im Nebenort, der über einen Weg am Ufer entlang in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist, ein tolles Gasthaus gibt. Die Region gibt sich insgesamt auch viel Mühe, Touristen zu diversen Sachen einzuladen.

Leider werden unglaublich überteuerte, schlecht zubereitete Speisen angeboten. Lachs und Kartoffelbrei schwammen in sauer eingelegter Zucchini und wurden dadurch fast ungenießbar, Schweinekotelett mit Spaghetti und 4 winzige Lammfilets waren ihr Geld für 30,- und 34,- EUR leider ebenso nicht wert. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant nicht weiter.

Viel Geld und für ungenügende Leistung der Küche! Ich habe selten so schlecht gegessen! Das Essen war aufgewärmt , der Salat hatte schon stundenlang im Kühlschrank gestanden . Schmeckte so als wäre er schon am Vortag zubereitet worden. Wir waren 8 Leute, davon würden 7 nicht wiederkommen . Das Ambiente ist gut aber wir wollten auch gut essen !
