65€ is simply too much. When the outside temperature is 3 degrees, there is no heating in the room! You have to move the TV yourself to get electricity. The shower has almost zero water pressure and the bathroom was dirty, even the previous tenant's beard stubble was lying around. The smell from the restaurant wafts into the room. The staff barely understands a word and only explains things poorly where the hotel parking lot is and you look for your own room... Breakfast is only available after 8 a.m. and is not available for business travelers. All in all, once and never again. The beds practically fall under you Apart.And hygiene is a priority. I can't understand the reviews here. What I saw shouldn't be seen. This was documented with pictures and videos!

We have had guests stay there twice so far. A bit older but large rooms, bathroom a bit small but completely sufficient. Breakfast was probably very good. Still recommend the hotel for the price and performance ratio.

Very suitable for a short vacation. Rooms are functionally furnished. Price-performance is very good. The rooms are quiet. The team is well coordinated and very friendly.

We can happily recommend the golden ship without a guilty conscience. After we had eaten extensively and really tasty food at a good price-performance ratio, we moved into the rooms of the old, yet charmingly furnished house. Gladly again.

Nice clean room, a bit noisy but not disturbing

The Hotel Goldenes Schiff in the large district town of Grimma has the address: Leipziger Platz 6 04668 Grimma the same address as the Greek restaurant Olympia. Both facilities are in the same building Since I have only been to the Olympia so far, I would like to award the stars only for location. Maybe this review will help tourists who are unfamiliar with the area.

They have rooms on booking and when you arrived at the destination, they told you that don’t have any rooms. They don’t speak English so you have to find a solution to communicate with them. They are not respectful. I don’t recommend this hotel. Avoid them !

This is our favorite Greek😋... The service is very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is great. And big advantages: they have a playground right next to the patio. The children can run around and the parents have a few minutes to themselves.

We three friends stayed there for an overnight stay and were more than positively surprised. The fact that we only got there around 8 p.m. to check in wasn't a problem at all. On the contrary, we were warmly welcomed and everything was shown to us in peace. The rooms are clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. The small but fine breakfast buffet is equipped so that everyone can find something. We felt completely comfortable.

The food in the restaurant was very tasty, ouzos on the house, value for money was normal, there was even a playground outside for children, very good, I can't rate the hotel

As the children's soccer team from SV Klinga-Ammelshain, we were able to celebrate the end of the season in the Golden Ship. The service was terrific, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was simply great. All of our wishes were taken into account. Very friendly team and highly recommended.

5 old business friends had a great stay and are already looking forward to the next time. The entire team is extremely well-coordinated and the food is excellent. Toni provided us with first-class red wine. The rooms are simple, but perfectly fine for the price. Thanks for the nice time.

We were there for 2 nights. Room cleaning did not take place. Room was nice and big and clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast had something for everyone.

So the hotel itself is quite ok. However, the rooms are very run down, almost everything is broken, everything is very dirty, the shower is moldy in the corners, last time I had the shower wall almost in my hand, in general you can save yourself the daily cleaning because there is nothing only makes things dirtier. I still had hair from the people in front of me in the shower and on the floor. Otherwise the people who work there are super nice and the location is OK too.

There are rooms with simple furnishings, but also with shower room/toilet, private parking space... Central but still quiet location! Definitely a good value for money if you don't value great luxury. Would definitely book here again if we visit our relatives there again.

Room was clean, mattress on the bed was a bit soft but the service and hospitality was 10 out of 10 :) very good location as several supermarkets, subway etc. within walking distance.

Eine große Auswahl gibt es nicht in Grimma. Sehr zentrale Lage. Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Guter Service und Frühstück.

Verspricht mehr als man bekommt.

Ich habe dort vom 12. - 14.10.2023 übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt in zentraler Lage von Grimma. Das ist schon mal gut. Der Rest fällt leider weniger gut aus. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr groß, lassen aber jegliche Liebe zum Detail vermissen. Es wirkt alles etwas willkürlich zusammengestellt. Das Fernsehgerät ist extrem klein. So kommt keine wohnliche Atmosphäre auf. Für eine zweckmäßige Übernachtung ganz gut, aber ansonsten wird es schwierig. Ich hatte reklamiert, dass die Seife im Spender fehlen würde. In den zwei Tagen meiner Anwesenheit hat sich der Zustand leider nicht geändert. Vielleicht sprechen die beigefügten Fotos für sich.

Hatte eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, das Mobiliar etwas abgewohnt, aber ok. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung inkl. Frühstück passen soweit. Auch die Lage zwischen Bahnhof und Zentrum sind für mich ganz praktisch gewesen. Was ich als extrem unangenehm empfand: Das dazugehörige griechische Lokal scheint inkl. Küche sehr schlecht belüftet zu sein. Oder der Fettabscheider des Dunstabzugs sitzt voll ... Im ganzen Haus und auch im Zimmer (bei 2 dauerhaft gekippten Fenstern) riecht es extrem nach altem Fett. Das war für mich schade und ich war froh, nur eine Nacht gebucht zu haben.

Willkommen zurück in der DDR. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist wirklich sehr alt und in die Jahre gekommen. Sauberkeit war ok, Lärm Pegel ziemlich hoch. Insgesamt würde ich da nicht nochmal übernachten wollen.

Wir waren hier im griechischem Restaurant essen. Es war sehr gut. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen war lecker.

Essen sehr gut. Die Bedienung schlecht und unerfahren.

Da wir hier noch nie übernachtet haben kann ich zu den Zimmern nichts sagen. Aber das Essen ist hervorragend. Es schmeckt jedes mal besser und glaubt mir ich war schon oft hier und kenne die Speisekarte. Habe bestimmt schon jedes Gericht probiert und auch die Kellner geben sich die größte Mühe. Sind freundlich witzig und charmant. Es wird einem soweit es möglich ist fast jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Also ihr lieben ,probiert es aus. Ihr werdet es nicht betreuen. Bis dahin einen guten Appetit!
