I've been to a lot of Greeks but there's nowhere else like this hospitality☺️. The recommendation to eat here goes out to everyone with taste 😉.

Spontaneously went to Athos today – super delicious food and a chaotic but fun evening! The atmosphere was lively, the staff warm and the cuisine lightning fast. What's particularly nice is that families with children are given priority, which we really liked. An entertaining and at the same time exhausting experience – we would love to come back!

We have been to Athos 5 times. Service is quick and always 🫶👨🏻‍💼 friendly. The food is fresh, delicious, good portions and well seasoned. The selection is large.. 🍽🍤🥗🧄🍅🍖🥩 Drinks were all served quickly and pleasantly chilled. Great happy team and with 💞 at work.

We were there spontaneously with 11 people. Food was great. We felt comfortable.

The staff are very child-friendly and also have little fun with the guests. It was our first time eating there and we were thrilled with the portions. We had a platter for two people and there was only a little bit left. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat something different in Grimma and also wants to take another Greek dish. We always like to come back to the Greek. I would recommend some Greek music for the ambience, even if not everyone can hear it if it gets a bit loud in the restaurant. If it's summer you can also eat outside in front of the restaurant.

We love eating here often. The service is always extremely nice and friendly, everything goes very quickly. Today we were a little disappointed for the first time. The tzatziki “tingled” on our tongues today and seemed spoiled. We addressed this and were then given a new bowl. However, this one also had the same problem. On our return journey we got stomach cramps, which I unfortunately have to attribute to the tzatziki, even though we only tried it.

Friendly service, delicious food. The decoration inside is just awesome. Unfortunately we ate outside.

Yesterday we had a nice meal in Athos. The food was delicious, the friendly service “Elena” was always there. Nice and friendly. So all around a great restaurant. We'll be back...

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, great food and first class service. Elena in particular is a lovely waitress. We always enjoy coming here.

Got served straight away, food was lovely, but after our main we waited for half an hour to finally be asked if we wanted a dessert, they went off and didn't come back for another 20 mins. So we just paid and left, won't be going back, shame as it started so well and food was good

We love coming to these Greeks in Grimma! The price-performance ratio has not changed despite inflation! Large portions, delicious food, fast friendly service even with children.

I had liver...it was delicious, if I can put it that way. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Service was very nice. Price-performance ratio is right. And best of all, the restaurant was open at lunchtime, not that common in the area.

Staying in Grimma before visiting Colditz Castle. Party of 6 came in for dinner. Wow! What a find. Service, excellent, helpful friendly staff. The food was so good that we have booked to come again tomorrow night.

Greek music, friendly service and the last criticism was taken to heart. The food was very, very tasty and fresh and it looked very appealing considering that it was in an assiette to take away. No more carrot pieces in the Metaxa sauce, Athos potatoes had the perfect color, price-performance is definitely fair here 👍🏼 gladly again 😊

Inconspicuous from the outside, but wow from the inside!! Great ambience. Nice friendly service, very quick on the way. The food was super great, the choice of Greek often falls into the 50/50 category but here it was definitely 100% TOP. I/we were thrilled! Thanks

We were there for dinner for the first time today. We were very surprised by the restaurant because you wouldn't expect it to have such a nice atmosphere from the outside. Even though it was well attended, it wasn't too loud. The food was very, very tasty and the meat was super tender and there was a lot on the plate. The winemakers Manuela and Elvira are very nice and they are also very quick. All in all a very nice evening :) we will definitely be back.

Possibilité de se garer pas loin , accueil chaleureux , tables espacées . Carte très ( trop ) bien fournie . Choix de 2 assiettes composées , bien complètes . Évidemment les souvlakis n'ont rien a voir avec les originales , mais bons morceaux de viande goûteux . L'accueil est ponctué d'ouzo bien apprécié. Serveuse très sympathique . Ensemble très convenable

We always enjoy going here. The food is great and the service and ambience are excellent.

We just wanted to go out to eat and it stayed that way. Music turned up to full volume, not Greek, but dance party music that you didn't understand your own words. Poor quality food, I had gyros special, special was just looking for gyros in a mess of something. I was actually used to better things there but that was my last visit.

Visited a Greek restaurant for the first time in Grimma. The ambience and food deserve an A+. The best Greek so far!

Super delicious food. Portions well prepared and sufficient. The boss is very nice and funny and takes good care of his guests.

I had liver, unfortunately it had a sour taste, which meant that my stomach/intestinal system reacted violently, the salad on the side was wilted, and the fried potatoes were tasty. My partner had lamb chop, dry and tough. Can't recommend the restaurant more.

Sehr geehrtes "Athos-Team"! Seit fast 30 Jahre besuchen wir schon diese Supergaststätte und sind kaum enttäuscht worden. Auch der letzte Besuch unter einen neuen Betreiber schließt sich dieser Bewertung neidlos an. Ganz tolles Essen, ganz ganz nette Bedienung und tolles Ambiente. Man fühlt sich einfach gut aufgehoben und als Gast beachtet. Wir hoffen sehr, dass diese Qualität noch sehr lange anhält! Danke für die angenehmen Zeit, die wir im "Athos" verbringen durften!

Das Essen war so so lecker, falls wir mal wieder in der Nähe von Grimma sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder her. Das Einzige, was verbessert werden könnte, wäre das nicht alles auf einmal kommt. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und ein Hauptgericht, haben die Vorspeisen zwar vorher bekommen, aber wir waren noch nicht richtig fertig damit und haben schon das Hauptgericht bekommen. Ist kein Weltuntergang und es gibt schlimmeres, aber das wäre ein Verbesserungsvorschlag :) Der Service war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Was ich nicht so toll fand, aber das lässt sich schlecht ändern, war die Lautstärke in dem Raum. Am Anfang war alles super, aber als sich dann ein Tisch nach dem anderen eingefunden hat und viele noch Kinder dabei hatten, wurde es leider auch immer lauter. Vielleicht könnte man da noch irgendwelche "Lautstärkenschlucker" einbauen. Ansonsten gibt es absolut nichts zu meckern.

Service mega freundlich Essen angenehme Temperatur zum Essen Preis durchschnittlich und angebracht Und endlich Mal ein Grieche der weiß was Knoblauch ist 👍

Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Hühnchen in Metaxasauce mit Pommes und als Vorspeise Knoblauchbrot. Das Brot war sehr soft und starker Knoblauchgeschmack. Dazu gab es einen Dip. Das Hauptgericht war sehr lecker und cremig. Als Dessert gab es ein Schoko Souflé. Himmlisch. Also kann ich nur empfehlen.

Bestes Restaurant in Grimma, am Wochenende sollte man einen Tisch vorbestellen. Gerichte mit Metaxasauce, Gyros, Suflaki und Knoblauchkartoffeln sind besonders zu empfehlen. Die Portionen sind reichlich und das Personal ist freundlich und flink.

Sehr sehr geil, unser Kind hat sich zum 10ten.Geburtstag Essen beim Griechen gewünscht..haben wir ihm erfüllt, und wurden nicht Enttäuscht...Essen und Bedienung Top. Bedienung war super freundlich auch zu den Kid's...Essen ein Traum... alle sind Satt und zufrieden nach Hause. Kind möchte öfters da hin.😃😃 Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis völlig Okay in dieser Zeit. Nicht der Druck schnell schnell du musst wieder gehen, weil ich den Tisch schon wieder neu besetzt habe, (schon erlebt in Grimma in einem anderen Restaurant) Bei Athos am Markt ist der Kunde definitiv noch König, und keine Ware die schnell durchgeschoben wird. Meine Schwester wollte heute gerne griechisch essen gehen. Also habe ich Google gefragt , wo auf dem Weg nach Leipzig ein passendes Restaurant ist. In Grimma habe ich das Restaurant Athos entdeckt. Es ist wirklich sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist unbeschreiblich!!!!!! Das muss man gesehen haben , alle sind flott , aufmerksam dem Gast gegenüber , und selbst im stärksten Stress überaus freundlich. Von diesem Personal können andere nur lernen. Das Essen kam extrem zügig. Die Portionen sind wirklich ausreichend und man ist sehr flexibel was die Beilagen (Reis , Pommes , Bratkartoffeln etc) betrifft. Das Fleisch war super gebraten und sehr zart. Preis - Leistung ist absolut top. Wer einmal in der Nähe von Grimma ist , sollte unbedingt hier essen gehen. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Bleibt so , ihr seid super. Wenn man mehr Sterne vergeben könnte würde ich das sofort tun.

Sehr lecker, tolles Ambiente, Kellner sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hervorheben muss man allerdings Kellner Toni.. bester Kellner überhaupt!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir saßen am Abend sehr gut vor dem Lokal, fast auf dem Marktplatz. Der Service war flott und einwandfrei. Wir hätten uns eine Auswahl an vegetarischen Hauptgerichten gewünscht, haben dann aber leckere Vorspeisen kombiniert.

Ich wählte von der Mittagskarte "Überbackenes Gyros". Diese Gericht war lauwarm, mit einer Pampe überzogen und nicht überbacken. Etwas Grünes war auch nicht dabei. Dabei wurde alles lustlos serviert. Dort gehe ich nicht wieder hin.

Am Sonnabend Abend waren wir, wieder mal nach längerer Zeit im Restaurant Athos. Es war sehr voll, hatten jedoch auch nicht vorbestellt, bekamen einen zweier Tisch. Die Bedienung, kam relativ schnell, so haben wir unsere Getränke bestellt. Später kam die Bedienung wieder, sie hat unsere Bestellung aufgenommen, als Vorspeise einen Thunfisch-Salat und unsere Gerichte. Der leckere Thunfischsalat, kam in angemessener Zeit, nur unsere Hauptgerichte kamen ewig nicht, so daß wir zwei den Hunger schon übergangen hatten. Leider konnten wir deshalb, unsere leckeren Speisen nicht zu Ende essen und haben sie mit nach Hause genommen. Wir waren schon sehr oft, im Restaurant Athos und waren immer sehr zufrieden, aber dieses Mal leider nicht. Vielleicht ist jetzt eventuell anderes Personal im Restaurant? Wir kommen aber wegen unseren leckeren Speisen wieder, diese waren total mal anders als sonst üblich! Wir wünschen Ihnen weiterhin alles, alles Liebe und Gute Familie Weber aus Grimma
