We've been there many times. It's like a small family business. It tastes very good and when it comes to service, everything is tried to please the guests. Two lovely big Labis were also allowed to come along. Please keep it up and all the best.

I've been there a few times. The people there are great and very nice. The food is truly exceptional. The traditional Greek dishes were really great! You simply have to visit this place!

This restaurant is a real 💎! It reminded me of the authentic flavors of Greece. It felt like my Greek grandmother herself had cooked. A real visit home!

Ordered something today. It was really underground at times. The Metaxa sauce was bitter and really inedible. Too bad about the money.

For me the best Greek cuisine and beyond the Grimma city limits. Everything is freshly prepared, tasty and there is something on the menu to suit a wide range of tastes. The service is incredibly nice and remains so even if you are the last guest late in the evening. As a guest you receive both an aperitif and a digestif in the form of an ouzo - these provide a very nice accompaniment to all the delicacies. My personal recommendation are the grilled pepperoni and the newly added gyros and salad are simply great!

We love going to this restaurant often. It is by far the best Greek (especially they are also Greek) that we know. From the ambience to the service and the cuisine, everything is simply perfect here. Thank you very much for that and for existing.

Service ok. Dish ok, except for a little over-salted French fries. No problem. Unfortunately the dessert wasn't that good. Puff pastry, like many baked goods, is never heated in the microwave. He becomes limp, tough as rubber. The classic. If you criticize it in a friendly way but it is poorly received, then something is wrong. We didn't speculate on a price reduction or anything like that. That's not our thing. The argument that the guests want it that way is simply not tenable. That's arrogant because you're taking people for fools. And as far as such a dessert is concerned in Greece, that is irrelevant here because we are in Grimma. It was all just embarrassing for the server. Not the cook. Then so be it.

Is the former "Linde" and has "home advantage"....that's why we really like being here, especially because of the friendly innkeeper and, in summer, the beautiful outdoor area under the linden and Kasrania trees

Top restaurant for cozy evenings, for sitting outside in the summer and also for families. The food is always tasty and the selection is large. Unfortunately, an older waiter often forgot drinks and we had to wait a long time. In addition, its appearance was inappropriate for such a good restaurant and the other employees generally had a much friendlier experience. The prices are completely reasonable for the food and the favorite is the dessert. Recommended and 5 stars if it weren't for the older waiter.

We have known the restaurant for years. Very good food and very friendly service.

We always like to come on weekends and the food tastes good. The employees are very friendly, with the exception of one older employee who occasionally forgets something and leaves a less friendly impression. The rest of the service and the cozy atmosphere, as well as the seating outside in summer, create a well-rounded and relaxing experience every evening. Thanks to the friendly and family-friendly service, many friends and acquaintances were able to discover a new favorite restaurant. Everything was great except for one employee.

The food tastes very good and it is a good option for a family to spend a nice weekend evening. There is an older employee who is forgetful and unfriendly, otherwise everything is great.

The decor isn't exactly Greek, more like a local pub, but this didn't bother us at all as the food was really tasty. Compared to other restaurants, I found 17 euros for a grill plate to be reasonable. We'd love to come back.

a matter of taste This place is not my thing at all. From the furnishings to the dishes, it's getting old. Prices are good and the place is full on Saturday evenings, but I at least will stay away from this place in the future. Drink order was forgotten. The dish - Teller Anna - didn't work at all. Everything is only lukewarm, the liver is too firm, was nothing for me, just like the small piece of lamb, carelessly prepared and fried potatoes like from another planet. And why isn't Greek music playing there if there are already loudspeakers hanging there? And so the saying comes true again.... Good and cheap... doesn't work. Others in the area can do that better.

Our favorite, trusted Greek. Food always tastes very good. Good selection of starters. The garlic bread is always worth trying. Ample portions. Tzatziki tastes much better than in other restaurants 😉

Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The food was very carelessly and unprepossessingly prepared and some of it was lukewarm. The taste was also kept very simple. Ambience rustic and not typically Greek - many other Greek restaurants can do it better. The service was OK but coughing on the food while serving with your hands full was a no-go. Unfortunately, as a group of 14 people, we were not offered any ouzo. It's not a must, but many others can do it better.

Very friendly service, food is delicious. Down to earth and good, no overpriced. Warm hosts. The ambience is a bit old, sitting outside in the beer garden is very good.

The food was really delicious 😋. The employees were also very friendly. 👍🏻 BUT. We only had one drink the entire evening. Not once did anyone come to our table and ask. That was a real shame. Of course we could have asked, but unfortunately no one came to the other tables to ask for something to drink. So expandable!

Das Ambiente ist angenehmen und ansprechend. Ich könnte große Reden schwingen, brauche es aber nicht, da die Zubereitung der Speisen hervorragend ist. Es mag einfach sein, was die Gestaltung der Teller angeht, der Geschmack ist einfach super !!!! In Leipzig habe ich und meine Partnerin sehr viele Restaurants dieser Art durch, keiner kommt von der Zubereitung an das, was wir gegessen haben.

Wir waren mit unseren Ossi Freunden Manuela sowie Holger K..aus Grimma dort.Wir denken der beste Grieche in der ehemaligen DDR!

Super Essen, freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber sowie ein komplett neuer Biergarten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren nur auf der Druchreise, würden aber definitv wieder kommen. Auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick vielleicht nicht sehr einladend und vor allem überdimensiniert aussieht, Speisen und Bedienung waren fabelhaft.

Bedienung war top. Vorspeise(gefüllte Weinblätter) war frisch aus dem Kühlschrank und dementsprechend zu kalt. Am Hauptgang war das beste das Zatziki, Gyros hätte noch ein paar Minuten länger im Pfanne bleiben können, und im Bifteki wurde die Füllung vergessen. Alles in allem aber ein gemütliches und preiswertes Griechisches Restaurant

Der Beste Grieche ever, seit Jahren gehe ich dort mit meiner Familie essen. Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen 👍

Bei mehreren Besuchen, angenehme Begrüßung und Bedienung. Umfangreiches vielseitiges Speiseangebot nach griechischer Art.

Waren zu einem Familienessen eingeladen. Optisch erweckt das Restaurant zunächst einen alten antiquarischen Eindruck. Die Räume waren unbeheizt und dadurch sehr kalt. Das servierte Fleisch war kalt und trocken. Wer Wert auf hochwertiges frisches griechisches Essen legt, sollte in meinen Augen nicht Athen zur Linde besuchen.

Haben zu 4-t am Mittwoch Mittag gegessen. Es war sehr leer, aber zu Corona Zeiten verständlich! Wie immer lecker! Alle Speisen kamen sehr schnell, sie Teller gut gefüllt und sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr nett und alles übrig gebliebene Essen wurde eingepackt! Sehr empfehlenswerter Grieche.

Super schmackhaftes Essen! Sehr große Portionen, nette Bedienung - auch Extrawünsche werden berücksichtigt! Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war heiß und frisch zubereitet. Einziges Manko ist die Bahnhofsatmosphäre im Innenbereich, dort könnte mal etwas saniert und aufgefrischt werden! Im Sommer isst man gut und gemütlich im Innenhof unter großen Kastanien, die spenden gut Schatten.

Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Das Personal und der Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Ganz begeistert waren wir vom Knoblauchbrot und dem Tzatziki.

Die Einrichtung wurde seit 20Jahren nicht erneuert, d.h.holzeckbänke mit speckigem Bezug, genauso die Stühle, teilweise filzbelag auf dem Boden. Die "tollen" Bratkartoffeln sind fertigprodukte ausm Karton- eine Scheibe wie die andere nur in Öl zum Leben erweckt, das Fleisch nichts besonderes, halt alles kurzgebraten. Für Leute geeignet, die sich günstig den Bauch vollschlagen möchten, ohne auf Geschmack wertzulegen.

Der Versuch, eine eigentlich traditionelle Dorfkneipe ("Zur Linde") zu einem griechischen Restaurant ("Athen") zu konvertieren, ist ambientemäßig ein ambitoniertes Experiment. Altdeutsche Holzvertäfelungen mit "antiken" Gipsfiguren und Blau-weiß-Meer- und Tempelgemälden garniert, da graust dem Geschichtsliebhaber. Aber es erhebt ja nicht den Anspruch, ein authentisches Museum zu sein und die Küche ist hervorragend. Das ist schließlich der Zweck eines Restaurants und gemütlich ist es allemal. Kali orechi!
