From Silvio and Andrea you can order EVERYTHING blindly. Simply delicious! I've just finished an Amatriciana and what can I say - the tagliatelle are on point again!
Run by two sweet Turkish ladies, very clean and everything they make is made by love. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends. My husband had their home style Turkish breakfast it was well enough for two people and everything was fresh. I had their famous lahmacun and mixed gozleme, they made it freshly as i ordered so crunchy so genuinely tasty 😋. Feeling very lucky to find this place
Super tasty, fresh and healthy meals, baguettes and more. Varied daily meals. Something for everyone! Very nice atmosphere! You are welcomed straight away and the food comes straight away. Service is great! Super friendly. Just as it should be! Always happy again!😄
As stated in the stars. We were there for the first time. We can only say very good things about the ambience, service, friendliness and quality of the food.
We ordered takeout. The food was super tasty. The icing on the cake was the gratinated bananas (very nicely prepared). Praise goes out to the kitchen. Gladly again!!!
We don't order anywhere else...
Food arrives hot and appetizingly prepared (despite the packaging).
Delivery times are of course long… normal with good delivery services… but if you know that! No problem.
Recommendation: Taxi plates and Bifteki plates!
Good food, helpful staff. The place was a bit loud (high volume of people in a relatively small place), but this wasn't much of an issue in the end. Would visit again.
The food was very good and the service staff are very friendly.
However, the boss is absolutely unfriendly. Some guests were really harassed because they arrived a few minutes early, and they then left the restaurant. In our case, we called in advance to make a reservation and were asked if we could bring dogs. This was answered in the affirmative. When we were there, the boss told us that the dogs weren't allowed in. After a lot of back and forth, we were allowed in with our dog and it wasn't just us that evening.
It can always happen that you have a bad day as a boss, but even then you shouldn't treat your guests like that. This was the second time for us.
During the other visits, she was not there and there were no discussions
Another awesome place in Kaldenkirchen.
Awesome food, atmosphere, prices, service, people. Very very friendly.
Greek food is the speciality but also schnitzel, currywurst etc.
Opens Monday-Friday, not Saturda/Sunday (as at January 2025).
Cool bananas.
Very nice furnishings and furnishings, extremely attentive and friendly staff, excellent food, plenty of parking spaces - really great!
We were guests at a friend's 50th and were surprised at how perfectly everything was organized.
The soeisen offered were delicious, well seasoned and a real treat.
The service is excellent.
Unobtrusive, but always helpful, nice, quick.
My only question: How do you get such great staff in these times when 98% of restaurateurs are complaining about vacancies?
The three of us were at Olympia today and everything was perfect, from the service to the food
We thank you for the great food and good service
Always my pleasure
Maybe just 3.5 stars.
Eat:
I would say a small but nice card. If I remember correctly, it was bigger at the beginning. Unfortunately, there are probably no seasonal dishes, daily specials or anything like what was otherwise posted on a blackboard. At least not the last two times we were there.
The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste good.
I find the drinks menu to be pretty poor. Especially for a charger that is advertised as “Kitchen & bar”.
The beer options are classic Pils, Alt and a Hefe. Nothing special (even if the poster above the urinal still offers Corona). Apparently there is no gin anymore either. Or it's not on the menu and the waitress was poorly informed.
There is no dessert. 1-2 things would be nice here.
Service:
Like the entire industry, Puckis is probably struggling with this. The waitress(s) were consistently nice. However, everything took a very long time. People sat in front of empty glasses for longer, even if the store wasn't full. With the Mojito you had to ask for the straw every time you ordered a new one (Mojito is really hard to drink without one).
There was also only one menu for the two of us because there weren't enough, even though the restaurant was only occupied in the front area and the beer garden was closed.
The meal (1x bread as a starter and 2 burgers as a main course) took a very long time. The bread came relatively quickly compared to the main course. We waited over an hour for this...after the starter.
We experienced similar things at other tables.
The bill also took a while to arrive. However, things went faster for us than at the neighboring table.
About the location: The store was really well decorated back then. I like that. In the sanitary sector it works like this. A urinal has been gone for ages or is broken and there is a poster stuck over it. Handkerchiefs are sometimes used as “towels”.
The room on the side probably no longer exists.
Conclusion:
When Puckis opened, we were thrilled. Many of our friends also had the same opinion.
Unfortunately, service and “quality” are increasingly declining. Little or no innovations on the menu e.g. Since the menu is small, you have already eaten everything after a while. If you don't like trying something new anyway, that's okay. The food offered is very tasty and beautifully prepared. But if you want to try something different, you'll quickly get bored.
Since there is a lack of alternatives and if you don't want pizza, Puckis is still a good place to go where you should probably plan a little more time than usual.
I hope the owners find their old “spirit” and push things again.
Someone once said that if you turn off the engine of an airplane, it doesn't fall like a stone from the sky, but rather it starts to descend until it no longer has any lift and then crashes. Personally, I think they are currently on the decline.
The loss of the Pucki would be a real shame for Nettetal, because I think it stands out from the local restaurant.
My report is based on the last three visits over a period of several months. So no “short-term recording”.
