Galata restaurant in Nettetal

Run by two sweet Turkish ladies, very clean and everything they make is made by love. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends. My husband had their home style Turkish breakfast it was well enough for two people and everything was fresh. I had their famous lahmacun and mixed gozleme, they made it freshly as i ordered so crunchy so genuinely tasty 😋. Feeling very lucky to find this place

By far the worst kebab I have ever eaten. The meat tasted of nothing, the sauces tasted of nothing. The worst thing is that they put the salad in the kebab first, which means that at the end of the kebab there is only salad left. When I order, the people busy themselves with other things, such as the Lieferando slip that has just come in. They simply hold the kebab in one hand and intercept the slip with the other and read it through first. Finish one thing first before you mess around with something else. You can just tell that they have not given any thought to the subject of kebabs. The shop itself looks good, but I don't go there because of the building. As far as I'm concerned, it could just be a small shop with an owner who speaks broken German, the main thing is that the product is good.

We had a wonderful meal here. Everything is freshly made, from the pasta to the Adana meat itself, making it incredibly delicious. It takes a while for the food to arrive, but when it does, you get what you pay for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior looks new. Highchairs are available. Payment by card or cash is accepted. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available nearby.

The most delicious kebab plate. You get a starter plate, and everything is prepared with love. We always enjoy going there. The service is extremely friendly. 5 stars+

UPDATE: 7 months later, we gave the snack bar another chance! Opening hours from 2 p.m.! We arrived at 2:25 p.m., placed our order, and wondered why the lady answered the phone instead of making our food! When we asked, we were told that they had called the lady who cuts the doner kebabs. She works at her hair salon in the mornings and would be over at 2 p.m. (it was 2:30 p.m. by then). When she finally arrived at 2:40 p.m., she cut the doner meat. 😎 The doner tasted okay, but the fries were terrible!!! They were barely warm, miles away from crispy!! A snack bar should at least be able to make fries!! Who on earth likes pale, soggy fries???? Why do people do that??? We had high hopes for a Turkish snack bar, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed! I can't usually finish a kebab, but this one had too little of everything! Not enough salad! Not enough sauce!! Not enough meat!!! The kebab was too small and dry!! The fries were quite good!!

I've eaten there twice so far, the service is truly fantastic, the people are really lovely! The food is also very tasty, way too fresh, phew, so fresh, beyond words!!! It's highly recommended, truly fantastic, I'm truly speechless...

Prima leckeres Essen. Haben den Dönerteller mit genommen und waren begeistert das die sossen und der Salat nicht auf Fleisch und Pommes lagen. Das Personal war superfreundlich. Da gehen wir gerne wieder hin

Voor het eerst hier gegeten. Lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel, schoon en ook nog eens goedkoop. Wat wil je nog meer? Niks te klagen, absoluut een aanrader.

Ongelooflijk lekker gegeten, alles is vers bereid uit eigen keuken. Porties zijn niet overdadig groot maar echt voldoende om je honger te stillen. Echt de moeite waard, hier kom ik zeker terug!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt, es gibt eine gute Auswahl an leckeren gerichten die sehr authentisch präsentiert werden. Die Fleischqualität ist sehr hoch und es ist wahrscheinlich das beste Fleisch im Umkreis. Kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Wir waren jetzt mehrmals da: Superfreundlich, sauber, tolles Essen mit Engagement gemacht. Keine Massenabfütterung und keine Miniportionen. Und eine Tee for free 😋

Haben schon mehrmals dort essen geholt. Tolle Gastgeber und leckerer „echter“ Döner mit hoher Qualität. Der Döner ist nicht so übervoll und sehr gut zu essen. Vielen Dank auch für die tolle Zubereitung . Hier wird alles mit Respekt zubereitet.

Öncelikle yemeğimiz son derece lezzetli ve sonderece doyurucuydu tercihimiz dönerden yanaydı ve sonderece güzel bir sunum ile masamıza geldi ve yanında tadımlık istediğimiz köfteyse ayrı bir güzeldi 👍 mekanın konumu çok iyi ve temiz ve güler güzlü bir ortama geldiğimiz için tekrar gelip kahvaltılarınıda tatmak istiyorum ve herkezede tavsiye ediyorum 👏👏👏

Ich verstehe die Positionen Rezensionen hier leider nicht wirklich, der sogenannte Döner dürfte sich meiner Meinung nach gar nicht als solcher bezeichnen. Prinzipiell schmeckte er in Ordnung jedoch ist er sehr klein und gleicht eher einem Baguette. Die Auswahl der Saucen ist minimal und auch Beläge gibt es fast keine. Die Pommes hingegen waren sehr lecker jedoch konnten diese den absolut misslungenen Döner auch nicht mehr retten.
