Restaurant Olympia is always a real highlight. Especially now during Advent, the ambiance is simply beautiful – warm, inviting, and decorated with so much love. The atmosphere is a delight from the first minute to the last. The service is top-notch: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always cheerful. You can immediately tell that genuine hospitality is practiced here. The owner himself spreads a wonderful cheer – you feel instantly welcome. As for the food, I don't really need to say anything more: as always, it's a culinary delight of the highest order. Fresh, delicious, perfectly seasoned – every dish is a winner. My unequivocal recommendation: If you're looking for good food, a great atmosphere, and impeccable service, this is the place for you. Stay just the way you are, dear Olympia family – I wish you a wonderful Advent season and a happy New Year!

Even though the beer garden was actually full and we didn't have a reservation, they arranged for us to sit down. The food and service were excellent. I didn't want to rate it at first, otherwise I wouldn't get a seat 😉

Now things are running smoothly again. It's been worse. Nice manager and staff.

Under Stephanos, the service was several notches better. For me, today was my last attempt at the restaurant.

A great evening. Delicious food, great meat, great service. Beautiful beer garden. Large and small portions, meaty and salady. Something for everyone – and always a delicious ouzo to open your stomach 😋

I've never eaten so badly. Dishes are deep-fried, even though they're not that great. Overall, everything is tasteless and there's little homemade cooking. Starters are certainly more likely to be bought ready-made from the supermarket than homemade. When you ask if you enjoyed the food and get an honest but friendly answer, you get nothing back. Then there's no point asking...I can't understand the good reviews here.

It is a nice restaurant, only the food is very salty and some pieces of meat quite dry. Too bad we had to experience it that way, because it was well written.

I have been going to “Olympia” for 30 years now, ever since the time of the previous owner, Stephanos. Anna's team is also very friendly and the food is always good. There is Pilavas Ouzo (the tastiest ever). Totally recommended. The homely atmosphere not only invites you to eat, but also to have nice conversations with the people sitting next to you. It makes sense to reserve on weekends.

Visited this restaurant again after a long time...Okay, it was pretty full, but you still don't have to wait 1.5 hours for your food. The food was good and sufficient with a starter... although it used to be a lot more... and you were more than full without a starter. All I'm saying is...the scoop of Djuvitch rice was missing and 2-5 more fries on the plate. But at least the quality has remained the same. The invoice was only handed over when we asked again. All in all, waitresses in stressful situations can be improved.

I ordered “food to ho” on Saturday. Everything worked very well. The food tasted very good. I will definitely visit the restaurant again.

A very authentic Greek restaurant

The food was very nice, service leaves a lot too be desired, too many waiters/waitresses, none of who’m seem to be designated to any particular area or table. My drink came very quickly. Then I had to wait nearly a half hour for the menu card, and then only because I asked for one. After that everything was fine, as I said food was nice, came very quickly after I ordered, and was well presented. Well this is my second visit, nothing has changed, there is 6 waiting staff, but no service, after 25 minutes I have not even been offered a menu card, again I had to ask for one. The meal was worth the wait, the Kreta teller was very nice, and was well presented.

I ordered a grill plate with rice and tzatziki to pick up. Everything was very tasty and well packaged for further transport. Highly recommended!

I am very disappointed and will not recommend the restaurant. Everything tasted the same (whether gyros, liver or skewers). Very carelessly prepared.

Top restaurant de Michelin * is in aantocht wat ons betreft. Keurig/dienstverlend personeel, diner/grote diversiteit van menu's+grote gerechten, rekening laag mede door de gratis ouzo. Aanrader!!!

Essen war in Ordnung. Der Weg zur Toilette geht an allen Küchen vorbei und dort steht auch ein Aschenbecher. Was ich als nicht sehr hygienisch empfinde. Service ist nett aber braucht sehr lange wenn man etwas nachordern möchte. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Bester Grieche in Nettetal! Auch wenn Stephanos das Restaurant nicht mehr betreibt, ist es immer noch einen Besuch wert. Die Damen führen es etwas frischer und moderner, die Küche hat die bewährte Qualität. Seit 25 Jahre uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
