The food was delicious. The table was a bit small. It was warm in the room. The windows couldn't be opened. I'd love to come back for the delicious food and excellent service. The atmosphere was a bit noisy because there were a lot of people, and it was a Saturday.

During our holidays in Limburg, we dined at Olympia Greek restaurant in Nettetal several times, and it was always a treat! The food is truly delicious: freshly prepared, carefully presented, and with those authentic Greek flavors that instantly put you in the holiday mood. The restaurant itself exudes coziness and warmth, a charming place where you immediately feel welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly: welcoming, hospitable, and always with a smile. You can tell they enjoy their work and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful evening. The price-quality ratio is also excellent. The generous portions and high-quality food come at a reasonable price—a rare combination. In short: Olympia is our favorite place for delicious Greek food. So good, in fact, that we returned several times during our holiday. Highly recommended for anyone near Nettetal!

A very nice restaurant; they are customer-focused, friendly, and the food is delicious. We go there often and will definitely continue to do so, but today, August 28, 2025, was a bit disappointing. After a friendly welcome from an older gentleman, we were seated for two without a reservation. Super. Everything went very well, as always. After dinner, we ordered two coffees from a young man in a black shirt. After 20 minutes, I asked a girl who was walking by where our coffee was, and she quickly gave us ours. I happened to ask the same young man to pay. He asked if we wanted another ouzo. We were obviously looking forward to it, but nothing happened again. I took action myself and paid. After that, I ran into the same young man again and told him we hadn't received the ouzo. He promised to bring it to us, but we were still waiting. It's a shame. I won't order from him again next time.

The food and service were very good...very busy and therefore noisy on weekends. But if you like Greek food, this is the place for you.

I don't think the waitress was in a good mood. The other waitresses and servers were very nice. The seating is quite pleasant, and the food is good.

We went there on a recommendation and were immediately impressed. So far, everything we've ordered has been delicious. The food is of good quality. Of course, it's always quite busy and therefore a bit noisy, but that doesn't bother us. We find it very cozy.

Went for dinner yesterday. It was way too salty. Service only comes when you ask for attention, by raising your hand. Not good. Previous times I had good food. Yesterday was awful.

We had a delicious meal here, and the staff were friendly. I asked for mayonnaise and was given two packets, which I find unacceptable in a restaurant. I used one packet, so I returned the other. Imagine my surprise: I was charged €0.50 for the mayo, three times! Counting isn't their forte. Tip: buy a jar of mayo and put it neatly in a bowl; it's also better for the environment. You're a restaurant, not a chip shop!

Great Greek-German eatery. We started off with a mezzes platter (8+ different mezzes, hot & cold), which was already super filling. We ended up choosing another three mezzes as main course, topping it off with two desserts. Superb value for money. Complementary ouzo at start and end of the dinner ❤️

We have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time. We are welcomed very hospitably. We have eaten here several times alone or with friends or family...the food is excellent and the people who work there are super friendly and helpful. It is wonderful to stay. Inside it is nice and cool but outside on the terrace it is also very cozy...

Very pleasant impression of the place. The only unpleasant thing were the flies that flew onto our table. I would have liked it more if there was some Aria in the background music. Maybe Greek. For color.

We visited the Olympia restaurant for the first time today without a reservation, and I have to say we were blown away. Everything was fantastic. The food is better than any Greek restaurant we've visited before, and there have been quite a few. We highly recommend this restaurant. I think if we're going to eat Greek food, it will definitely be here. The food is very good, the atmosphere is great, the staff is very friendly, and the value for money is also very good. You feel like you're on holiday in Greece 💪👍

Very nice restaurant with a diverse selection of food. Unfortunately it was very loud in the winter garden area, also because the restaurant was very busy. There was a welcome ouzo and another farewell, thank you very much for that. The food was served very quickly after ordering and was very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. Only the parking options are very poor.

Great food and pricing. Restaurant is also very nicely decorated and super clean. It was a little packed and sun was boosting into the restaurant which made it super warm inside. Would recommend for the staff to be more attentive and allow fresh air to come in - it is more joyful to eat when you are not sweating! 😅 Staff was also not really attentive - it seemed like they were simply not listening to what guests were saying! Listen 👂! Plus don’t touch customers - I don’t like that! But overall great food!

Het restaurant ziet er al onverzorgd uit met verlepte planten en slecht onderhouden toiletten. Als voorafje kregen we een salade die enkel uit ijsbergsla bestond met coctsilsaus. Er zat nog geen schijfje komkommer en tomaat op. Het hoofdgerecht, gyros overbakken met kaas was van een zeer slechte kwaliteit vlees met een bordje friet erbij. Ook hier lag nog geen tomaat oid op. De gyrosschotel van mijn zoon was meer aangebrand vlees dan wat anders! Kortom het slechtste Griekse restaurant waar ik ooit geweest ben !

The 4 of us were there yesterday on a Friday evening at 7 p.m. The ambience was nice, the table was spacious. Unfortunately the acoustics were bad because it was very loud. The service was a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for the menu, waited ages for drinks and food. Reordering drinks was also very time-consuming. The food arrived after 1.5 hours in the restaurant. Two out of four people had something missing. The waitress was visibly annoyed. When I wanted to pay straight after my meal I was asked why and looked at strangely. The food was heavy on my stomach, although the gyros were really tasty! The rest was all standard. At 5:00 a.m. I woke up on my own with a stomach ache and diarrhea. We will never go there again. Maybe we were just unlucky and had a very bad day. Price performance was good. 120 euros for 4 people with drinks and a small appetizer.

It was very busy on a Thursday evening. We, a group of 17 people, received excellent hospitality. The food came to the table at the same time, despite being a la carte, and it was all very delicious. I'd love to come back.

The food itself was tasty, but you don't get any sauce with it at all. To complete a plate of Greek food, you can add a spoonful of sauce, right? You can buy it for about 5 euros extra. Thanks but no.

We have been to the Olympia restaurant several times. The food is always very good and really recommended. We visited last night and wanted to celebrate a birthday with a small group (4 people), which now motivated me to leave a review. We called two weeks ago and reserved a nice seat by the window in the front part of the restaurant, which we were promised. When we arrived on site, all tables had been allocated and we had to sit in the middle of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant is always so packed with people (I can't describe it any other way) that at a table of four people you don't have a chance to have a proper conversation and you almost have to shout at each other to understand each other. Unfortunately the service wasn't particularly good either. With both the first drink order and the appetizer we were given something we didn't order. With an apology we got the right thing. In between we ordered a bottle of water for which we waited 20 minutes and it only came after we asked. If the restaurant empties out a little, the ambience also improves. There were no paper towels in the washrooms. Normally I'm not that picky but at this hefty price I was really disappointed yesterday. The food is always really good, unfortunately the rest isn't always quite right. It's also a shame that such a great restaurant has to be "crowded" with so many people.

Service good and quick. The portions are sufficient. Just a little more spice would produce the fifth star.

Auch wenn die Auswahl an Vorspeisen und Kleinigkeiten in der Vergangenheit größer war, findet man immer noch viel Auswahl die auch weiterhin sehr lecker sind. Alle Gerichte (Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Desserts) sind von sehr guter Qualität und auch die etwas höheren Preise im Vergleich wert. Der Service ist sehr schnell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente ist wie in einem kleinen Lokal in Griechenland. Jeder Besuch hier ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub in Griechenland.

Best Greek food, very friendly and attentive staff, clear recommendation

I am Colombian and my in-laws took me to eat there the first time I visited them in 2022 and every time I go to the country we go to the restaurant as a tradition (in total about 5 times) the food is delicious, fresh and quality products, the staff is Friendly and the service in general very friendly. If you want good food you should visit them!

Best Greek in Kaldenkirchen, delicious food and good service.

We were a group of 6 adults at the Olympia Restaurant in Kaldenkirchen for the first time. It should be a nice birthday dinner. We also enjoyed the food. Now comes the BIG BUT... Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were assigned a waitress who didn't understand German. We were then promptly given a fish platter for two people, which was actually supposed to be a fish/meat platter. I even pointed my finger at it when ordering. There was NO apology and no question as to whether we would like to accept this order. Since we are quite peaceful people and the plate looked good, we ate it. The fish plate would of course also be charged that way, i.e. more expensive than the plate ordered. As an apology, we were given a bottle of wine with the bill, but only after we asked twice whether everything was as normal as it happened for us.

The slightly different Greek!! We like to go out for Greek food. As a result, we know a lot of Greek restaurants in our area. We came across this restaurant a while ago. It's a little further away from us, but it's definitely worth the longer drive. Nice ambience, friendly staff and beautiful location! Now to the food! Here the map looks a little different than the standard Greek one. You come across appetizers and dishes that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The quality of the food is very good. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. A very well-rounded thing. We would love to go back here!

Speechless! We had dinner at Olympia today. The food was tasty though. However, we could see the kitchen from our table and noticed that the waiters were eating fries from the finished plates before serving them to the guests. Absolutely unappetizing! The last time we ate there for us. We will also advise our friends against the Olympics.
