We were there spontaneously and despite having a full reservation, we were still able to get a table - that was really great! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. I had mac and cheese, my friend had a burger - both freshly prepared and very good in terms of taste and quality. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the service offered. The restaurant itself is very cozy and invites you to linger - on weekends there is also a cocktail happy hour in the evening. We'll definitely be back!

The low ratings thing just pisses me off. Is it all just jealous people, or what? Competitors? Nobody in the place knows me, and I'm not related to anyone or related by marriage, so I can say with certainty that Oberelspe has the best currywurst I've ever eaten. The first time I was there I was quite satisfied. Now, however, I'm no longer satisfied but completely thrilled. We actually spontaneously got a table for 6 people on December 26th. And it was worth it. Special requests for smaller portions for a senior citizen were accepted and the food was top notch. Gyros with cheese gratin and rice noodles, I have never eaten anything so delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and was always interested in whether we were satisfied with everything. Therefore deserves 5 stars. I'd love to come back
