Hohe Bracht Café Restaurant Events in Lennestadt

Die schlechteste Spargelsuppe, die ich je gegessen habe. Vom Spargelgeschmack war praktisch nichts zu merken, dafür schmeckte die Suppe ungewöhnlich süß, als wäre sie zusätzlich gezuckert worden. Auch die Portion war für 8,50 € sehr klein. Diese Suppe kann ich absolut nicht empfehlen. Der Weißwein hingegen war sehr gut und hat mir hervorragend geschmeckt.

Bei so einem sonnigen Wetter dachte ich mir gestern, mit ein paar Freunden unsere Bikes zu besteigen und auf Tour zu gehen. Als Zwischenstopp haben wir uns die Hohe Bracht ausgesucht und uns ein Kaltgetränk genehmigt. Preislich war es echt in Ordnung und die Aussicht über das malerische Sauerland einfach nur traumhaft!

Wenn ich mehr Sterne Vergeben könnte würde ich es sofort machen. Das Essen war mega. Große Portionen. Preisleistung Top. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Klasse Speisen, super Location und sympathischer Chef 👍🏻

Wir sind im Anschluss an eine schöne Wanderung rund um den Aussichtsturm im Restaurant eingekehrt. Ein schön eingerichteter, großer Gastraum, der zum verweilen einlädt. Wir sind sehr schnell und freundlich begrüßt worden, unserem Hund wurde sofort eine Schüssel mit Wasser gebracht. Zum Essen bestellten wir 2 mal das Bracht Schnitzel und einmal das Sauerländer Krüstchen. Es wurde alles zügig serviert und war sehr schön angerichtet. Die Portionen waren groß und haben super geschmeckt. Im Anschluss gab es auf Nachfrage noch eine Empfehlung für einen Kräuterlikör, der den Besuch perfekt abgerundet hat. Vielen Dank für die nette Bewirtung und einen schönen Aufenthalt bei euch.

Ein wirklich toller Besuch auf der Hohen Bracht! Das Essen war sehr lecker – frisch, schmackhaft und absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir kommen aus Lennestadt und wandern gerne mehrmals pro Monat hoch zur Hohen Bracht. Das Essen ist immer perfekt und man kann es druaßen auf der großen Terrasse genießen. Die Currywurst kann ich sehr empfehlen! Der Turmaufgang ist kostenlos und schön gestalten!

Sollte man mal hin.... allein wegen der tollen Aussicht.

Für einem Imbiß recht hohe Preise. Das Restaurant kann ich nicht beurteilen.Die Aussicht ist toll.Service gibt es draußen nicht.

Ein Mitarbeiter sagt uns, es gäbe Hafermilch. Wir warten auf die Bedienung, die uns dann mitteilt, dass es keine gibt. 2026 sollte man das vielleicht mal führen. Sind dann wieder los ohne etwas zu trinken.

Ein wunderschöner Ausflugsort, ob zu Fuß, per Rad, Bike oder Auto (auch Wohnmobil). Leckere hausgemachte, regionale Gerichte. Freundliches Personal. Sehr ruhig, duch Akustigplatten an der Decke. Man kann sich mühelos am Tisch unterhalten, auch wenn das Lokal voll besetzt ist. Die Biergarten Terrasse ist sehr groß. Ab und zu besondere Aktionen wie zum Beispiel ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffe.

Wenn wir eine Wanderung in dieser Gegend machen kehren wir hier immer ein. Das gesamte Team ist höfflich und versucht, trotz viel Betrieb, immer einen Tisch für Nichtreservierer bereitzustellen. Das Essen ist immer lecker, für Wanderer gibt es leckere Brotzeiten. Besonders schln fand ich heute, dass es an jedem Tisch mit Kindern etwas vom Osterhasen gab. Wir fühlen uns jedes Mal hier sehr wohl und kommen gern wieder.

Leckeres Essen, schöne Aussicht. Sehr praktisches Self-Service-System. Ich habe dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert, uns hat alles gefallen!

Sind am Freitag am späten Nachmittag auf der Durchreise spontan eingekehrt, wurden freundlich bedient und haben super leckere Riesenportionen bekommen

Essen und Service kann leider nicht bewertet werden, da man uns gar keinen Platz angeboten hat. Die beiden freien Tische waren reserviert, leider kam die Kellnerin Nichtraucher die Idee, uns einen Platz am Tresen anzubieten, damit wir im Warmen warten können, dass ein Tisch frei wird. Egal, sind im Hotel unten im Ort Bilstein sehr gut bedient worden

Die Torten waren Convenience und dann auch nicht besonders gut. Auf der Toilette fehlte die sie und etwas zum Hände trocknen.

A very well-located and spacious terrace where you can enjoy the view and delicious food when the weather is nice. The coffee and cake are highly recommended. The service isn't always the most efficient, but since you want to linger a while, it's not a big deal. We'll gladly come back.

Only 4 stars for the schnitzel with mushrooms and cream sauce 🌟 because the sauce tasted extremely strongly of Maggi/Fondor or something else 😢 The rest was excellent 👌👌👌 The fried potatoes and the schnitzel were great, and the staff was very friendly.

We had lunch at Restaurant Hohe Bracht at the end of August and were delighted that gluten-free options were absolutely no problem and that they even offered gluten-free bread – thank you so much! The food was excellent, and the menu was very well-chosen – regional, seasonal, and with some unusual dishes – simply fantastic. We wish the entire team continued success and look forward to our next visit when we're in the area again.

Great location, we live very close by but were in the restaurant for the first time today and I have to say it was really great👌great service, the food was very tasty and plentiful, I would say the price/performance ratio is perfectly fine.

Fantastic view, self-service on the terrace. Plenty of pastries, ice cream, coffee, tea, and drinks. Ample parking within walking distance, slightly uphill, accessible for walkers/wheelchairs.

Whenever I go up, it's closed. It's a shame, because the Hohe Bracht is very beautiful.

We were here on a hike to Bilstein Castle, which is beautiful. The food is really delicious but expensive. The view from the tower is phenomenal.

The location has been beautifully renovated. A number of weddings take place there, especially in the summer months, and the ambiance is perfect for this. The interior is very comfortable, the view around the tower is fantastic, and the tower is free to visit and worth the climb. The ambiance is perfect, and the food tastes good, home-style, even better than average. The service is worth mentioning, which was significantly better than average during our visit! The outdoor area is self-service, while the indoor area, as mentioned above, offers service. Overall, this is a highly recommended restaurant. A table reservation can't hurt, but it's not absolutely necessary!

A bitter disappointment! A wonderful summer evening on Saturday. After deciding on the Hohe Bracht and driving about 40 km, a friendly young lady turned us away because of a private event! There was no information online. Actually, it's not worth a star!🤬

Very cozy atmosphere with a sweeping view of the beautiful landscape! The Sauerland Krüstchen is highly recommended, along with a slice of cake afterward. 😊 The service was very attentive. We'd be happy to return if we get the chance!

A truly fantastic location, excellent parking, and delicious food and wines. There's also something for kids to color and keep them busy. Advance reservations are recommended—we actually got a table for six that same day. We'd love to come back.

A wonderful place in a stunning location. The Sauerland Krüstchen (sauerland croutons) tasted truly delicious and didn't take long to arrive. I'm very impressed by the stylish ambiance and the exceptionally good service. I came to this restaurant for the first time today, and I was immediately captivated. We were there with a hiking group and stopped for lunch. We had a comfortable outdoor seating. The menu is straightforward and includes vegetarian dishes. Coffee and cake are also available. However, the prices are truly outrageous! I paid €23 for a vegetable quiche, which was the equivalent of a quarter of a pizza, with a handful of salad and a non-alcoholic wheat beer...I thought that was pretty reasonable!

A fantastic location for special occasions like milestone birthdays or weddings. From the tower, you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Sauerland region. Unfortunately, the adventure trail no longer offers much of a view, as the trees have grown too tall. The trail itself, however, is highly recommended. We only visited the beer garden and unfortunately had to wait a very long time for our food.

Excellent food in a pleasantly quiet atmosphere. Whether after a walk or just because, we always enjoy coming here. There are also play areas for children nearby (tip: climbing frame on the forest path behind the tower). You have to be lucky with the view and the weather in spring and autumn, but when the fog clears away you have a great view of the Sauerland.

On the sinking ship of gastronomy in Germany, this restaurant is a real bright spot!! Cozy, modern ambience, upscale but not aloof atmosphere. Very friendly service, stylish handling. No music blaring from the speakers, a subtle background for conversations. The food was very fresh, tasty, skillfully seasoned and the salad dressings were also great. We found the portions to be filling. I would have loved to try another dessert or cake, but I was too full and didn't want to overpower the taste of the eggplant lasagne. This visit left us with a good feeling and at a reasonable price level. Tip: From November to the end of March there are fondues in the cable car gondola. A fun event! Reserve in advance!

A good friend invited us to dinner and it was an excellent idea!! The “fondue gondola” with a view into the distance - mega! Inside there is cozy space for four people and various types of fondue. Quality very good, tasty and a good combination. You can reorder at any time via radio, which then quickly arrives at the table... err... in the gondola. Great experience, especially when the weather is good!! Service is very friendly and helpful! Mega cool location!!!

We ate fondue outside in the gondola, something special. It had snowed that day in February and we felt like we were in a winter sports resort in the Alps.

Be careful, the bill at the end was just an interim bill! If you ask for a real invoice, it will be thrown out without a word. Does anyone seem to want to supplement their budget? Is the boss aware of this? In general, the older waitress was on Sunday January 13th. probably a little irritated, but she had already announced loudly that this should actually have been her first day off in 5 weeks. To be honest, conversations like this shouldn't be conducted in such a way that the guest notices. Unfortunately the food wasn't good, the breading on the schnitzel was completely soggy, the fries were absolutely over salted with way too much fries seasoning. We still ate half of it, and no one asked us if it tasted good or if we wanted to drink something else, even though we were sitting right at the counter. But if two waiters constantly have to work the cash register and no one knows whether they should be doing the counter or what they should be doing at all, that's no wonder. People were constantly asking each other whether the drink had already been made or why the table had already ordered and nothing had been booked or where the food was going that had been waiting for ages. We asked twice for the bill, which of course we wanted to pay in full since we ate a good half of the food and didn't complain due to the service staff's lack of interest. The older waitress came to the table the third time we asked for the bill. She didn't want to clear the half-full plates, and she didn't ask if it was tasty. When we wanted to pay by card and didn't say we would leave a tip, they didn't even say goodbye. We were thrown our real bill and we left without a word, even though we said goodbye. Absolute bad behavior to treat the guest like this because he doesn't give any tips and asks for the correct bill. They probably thought that the tourists could be treated like that and they would probably never come back anyway. In any case, the waitress absolutely failed in her job. The plates always go in front of the guest, you ask if it was tasty and even if you don't get a tip, you wish them a nice day or reply to a guest who says goodbye. Pure decency demands that.

Nice ambience. The service is a disaster. Went there spontaneously and asked politely for a table. After the employee I spoke to wanted to take care of things but didn't come back, I took a look at the reservations and then picked out a table myself. After another 15 minutes we were allowed to order even though it was empty. The food came after a good 30 minutes (a lot of waiting with a 2 year old at the table). Well, that can happen. The food then came and looked good. It tasted like shit. Fries with an excessive amount of salt, the schnitzel is made in the oven. It doesn't taste like anything and has a consistency like rubber. Since no one wanted to know what it tasted like, we left the plates half full. Only the little one liked the limp and completely over-seasoned fries. When we paid we weren't asked if everything was OK. Then I didn't give a tip. I thought €46 was enough for poor service and food. The slightly older waitress didn't find that funny at all, so she left the table without a word after taking the cash...no goodbye, no nothing. It's cheeky to expect a tip when you can't do anything!!! The store only runs because there's nothing else up there. Actually, we had already chosen cake and we would have ordered espresso too if the shop wasn't such a disaster.

We were there to grab a bite to eat. No greeting...nothing. We sat down at a table. The waitress cleared the neighboring table without informing us that she would be right there with us. After 15 minutes there was still no service staff. In the kitchen area there were 4 forces, all apparently hiding. Our two neighboring tables filled up. After another 15 minutes, impatient guests asked us whether we had even been served yet. They gave us restaurant tips in the area, which we visited after another 15 minutes. We weren't served so we can't say anything about the food. Too bad.

We were there for lunch on December 26th, with the Christmas menu/buffet. The food, especially the meat, was of poor quality. Unfortunately, it tasted as if it had been left over from the previous day and reheated. A real shame! For €48 per person just for the meal, I expect good food. The selection was decent and beautifully presented. The ambiance was fabulous! There were five of us, and we all agreed that we wouldn't attend another event like this at the Hohen Bracht. Edit: I didn't mention anything about schnitzels, but I had already highlighted the good selection on site and again in the review above. I still maintain that my group and I weren't satisfied with the quality of the food.

The view is great. It's worth it

So far away from the original Swiss cheese fondue... As we all know, food is a matter of taste, but what we were offered doesn't even come close to a ready-made fondue from a package. At least, the gondola offers a nice view and as such is something different. Still rather disappointing.

Nice and attentive staff. Nice ambience. The rump steak with pepper cognac sauce is really tasty. The crème bruelle, however, works like this.

We spent the fondue gondola package with an overnight stay on the Hohe Bracht from December 7th to 8th, 2024. Simply a great experience. It's really special because you rarely have the opportunity to spend the night up there. As always, everything is at a very high level. The food, ambience and service are simply great. Hello, we had a great evening in the “Hohe Bracht” restaurant. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the modern and tasteful interior. The entire team was extremely friendly, attentive and refreshing - a mix of professionalism and genuine warmth. I would particularly like to highlight the restaurant manager Dominik: his friendly, refreshing and entertaining manner made the evening a real experience. For all his professionalism, his demeanor was so entertaining that it was almost worth the extra entry fee. The dishes were just perfect! From the presentation to the taste, every detail was spot on. The food was more than sufficient, excellent and the price-performance ratio was more than justified We can recommend this restaurant without reservation. A visit here is really worth it for anyone who values ​​excellent food and first-class care. Thank you for an unforgettable evening - we will definitely be back!

After years we were back in the restaurant on the Hohe Bracht: it had been lovingly renovated and brought back to the times. The service was attentive and personal, the food was very tasty (especially the fried potatoes), generous portions and high-quality drinks at a reasonable price. We'll definitely come back.
