Unfortunately we were disappointed overall. We discovered mold in our salad - of course that's not possible and spoiled our appetite. The waiter tried hard, but something like that shouldn't happen in the kitchen. At least the schnitzel was positive – it was really tasty and well prepared. Nevertheless, we won't be coming back any time soon.

Cozy German restaurant with modern furnishings that make you feel comfortable. The service is very friendly and attentive, I won't write much about the food, it was simply great. We had a very nice evening and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Actually, the restaurant was an “emergency solution” because our first choices were all fully booked. Fortunately! Although there is little information to be found and the homepage provided did not load, the restaurant is a real tip. The food (once the pike perch, once the cream mushroom schnitzel) was very tasty and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. The menu is not large, but for us it consisted of 7 or 8 dishes (one vegetarian, one with fish). But we rated that as positive. The service was also very friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. The restaurant - although it was quite full - deserved even more guests.

This is probably the best restaurant in the village, since there is simply no other😁 To be honest, it was too expensive, but there were no other options. The food is delicious, but compared to other restaurants where I've eaten, it's average.

The Schnütgen inn – built as the “Diekhof” in 1784 – has been entertaining guests for more than 150 years. We enter the family-run, typical country inn, where history can be seen in the photos in the pleasantly partitioned niches in the bar. There is a hall in the right-hand part of the house for larger celebrations and clubs from the surrounding area and the surrounding area have fun in the bowling alley. We are celebrating a small birthday and are warmly welcomed by the landlady while chef Theo Schnütgen waves the scepter in the kitchen. The menu is small but fine and offers starters and soups, poultry, fish, schnitzel and game dishes as well as seasonal recommendations and a small selection of desserts. We decide on lamb's lettuce with strips of bacon and various schnitzel dishes such as crusts, mushroom or pepper schnitzel with fried potatoes. Freshly tapped Pilsner and various wines are served. Little by little all the tables are occupied and the food is absolutely freshly prepared, very tasty and very reasonably priced. The service was quick, unobtrusive and very accommodating. We'd love to come back.

We were there for dinner and drinks in mid-August. It was just great, the prices for food and drink are very humane. The service was very friendly. We really liked the atmosphere. All in all, a successful evening.

Wir sind sehr begeistert, mehr Frisches Essen kann man nicht verlangen! Wir waren 2 x dort essen, beide Male top frisch und sehr lecker zubereitetes Essen. Bei schönstem Wetter haben wir draußen sehr gemütlich gesessen und gegessen. Top Service, sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr schönes Lokal, sehr familienfreundlich. Nicht nur sehr schmackhaftes Essen, sondern auch sehr nette Bedienung und eine tolle Einrichtung. Total begeistert waren wir auch vom Kinder-WC/Wickelraum. Etwas vergleichbares haben wir wirklich noch nicht gesehen, allein dafür müsste ich 5 Extra-Sterne von unserem Sohn vergeben.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung , tolle Gaststätte und wenn s wieder erlaubt ist ein Lokal das man auch für alle Feierlichkeiten buchen kann !!!

Wir sind spontan mit dem Rad vorbeigekommen. Es war zwar noch ausserhalb der normalen Öffnungszeit, aber wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bewirtet. Toll!

Traditionele Duitse keuken. Lekker en goed, met aandacht klaar gemaakt. Bovendien niet duur. Aanrader wat mij betreft.
