A super nice restaurant, with super friendly staff. Old apothecary cupboard converted into a counter - wonderful. The food was sumptuous and super tasty.

It really tastes delicious here! All sauces are homemade! The prices are reasonable considering the good portions. Only the interior seems old-fashioned, simple and not particularly inviting. But the owner couple makes up for it with a lot of friendliness and charm. Highly recommended!

In my opinion, the store has developed very negatively. 1) The shop inside is freezing cold. It's just uncomfortable eating in there in the winter. The heaters are apparently defective. Funny that they were broken last year too. They're not broken, they're just parked. It's an absolute disgrace. The prices are getting higher and higher, the portions are getting smaller and you still have to freeze your chicken. Why should you heat for the guests? You don't need it!!!! SMART THING!!!!! 2) Flu infections!!! A few weeks ago I wanted to go out to eat there with my colleague. The entire team and the little boy, the poor little girl, had a severe flu-like infection. They were all coughing and sneezing behind the counters in front of the open food. The whole team barely had a voice to speak. They all belonged in bed, at home and not in the store. None of them had at least a face mask on. CHEERS MEAL. The little boy, also sick, sat at his usual place with his tray and could hardly open his eyes. We and my colleague just shook our heads and left without eating anything. That doesn't work at all!!!!!! A week ago, about 10 days ago, we were back. The little boy, the owners' son, was sitting in his usual place again with the tray in his hand and was just coughing the entire time we were there, unfortunately without putting his hand or arm in front of his mouth. I know it's a child, but a sick child belongs at home and not sick in the store until 9 p.m., sometimes even later, as I've observed other days when walking the dog. You see the boy all the time until late at night in his corner on the bench with a tray in his hand. I'm starting to run out of words. It was my last visit to the store with the owner!!!!

Food was delicious. Cheap prices on schnitzel day. Friendly service.

It was our first time there and it certainly won't be our last visit. The food (Waldhaus schnitzel, turkey with spinach and Camembert gratinated) was excellent and was accompanied by friendly service.

If you like schnitzel and German food in a traditional restaurant, you should definitely try it out.

What I found to be a shame was that the tables weren't decorated a little despite the Silver Wedding

Bergische Kaffeetafel in Haus Klippenberg Leichlingen / Germany was a wonderful experience. Excellent service, delicious food and homey atmosphere!

Over the last few years, when accompanied several times, but also with large company on site, we have always been impressed by the quality of the food on offer and accompanied with extremely attentive and friendly service. I particularly liked the almost romantic southern atmosphere of the beer garden in summer. Enjoying an outstandingly delicious pizza and a fine beer here is definitely convincing 👍

A great host who creates a very homely and cozy atmosphere with his family. You just feel warmly welcome and the food is excellent. The service is very friendly and accommodating. We like to come back again and again.
