All around great, nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was terrific! The salad alone was very fresh and delicious. The main course was also a dream, I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Price-performance ratio very good! We'd love to come back.

I really like going there, price/performance is right

I was in Idstein by chance after work on the weekend (meeting up with an old school friend - Idstein is in the middle and on the A3). I didn't know Idstein. The choice of restaurants there is very large and good. I chose TwoforYou because of the good reviews and would like to add another. Please also make an online reservation on the website - they are well attended and I was happy to get a table for two the day before. But they were very friendly on the phone and my online request was answered positively at short notice. Located on a side street in the old town, rather inconspicuous from the outside, very cozy on the inside. I can't comment on the outdoor area in the courtyard (it was February 2025). Service was top-notch, quick and very attentive. All the service staff made you feel really welcome and, despite being fully booked, also had time for short, friendly small talk. The food was super delicious. We basically had various Mediterranean dishes. Tapas, but also the crossover tapas are highly recommended and something different. We didn't have zebra or kangaroo, but we did have grasshoppers on chutney and pulled pork and a fantastic pumpkin, ginger and coconut soup. The crossover offering certainly sets TwoforYou apart from other tapas bars. Every selection is a feast for the palate. The homemade lemonades are also super tasty and the "little things" are particularly positive: 5 or 6 types of bread to choose from and not just 4 slices of token, but a whole baguette for 2 people. Great value for money. Everything is getting more expensive, we paid €55 per person plus a tip, but had drinks, plenty of food and an espresso afterwards and a lovely evening. I actually thought the price was rather reasonable, I had expected more. If I'm ever in Idstein again, I'd be happy to go back. Praise and thanks to the kitchen and service. 15 out of 15 points. PS: Parking garage at the Hexenturm is free from 7 p.m., but small.

Unusual, very good Italian dishes. Also wines, oils, etc. Everything can also be taken away. No consistent menu, instead daily menus (apparently not viewable online). Complete bar stool style seating. A few seats also outside. Guest toilet is outside the restaurant, a few meters further.

Update: Unfortunately, despite the announced reopening, it seems to be closed permanently and not just “temporarily”. Very tasty food and first class service! Location also great!

Nice restaurant, pleasant prices and value for money. Nice staff. The ambience is not my thing, but it is in the eye of the beholder. The food tasted good, the portions were okay (the cheese spaetzle was a bit poor)
