The food is incredibly tasty and the atmosphere is great. You just have to bring some time and it's not cheap either. But it's worth it. By the way, the lemonades and iced teas are highly recommended.

Absolute highlight of a three-day city trip to Idstein. The idea of ​​serving tapas from different regions is not only exciting, but also implemented to a high standard, and in a friendly atmosphere. It's a real shame that you're so far away from Berlin ;)

We spontaneously went to the restaurant after hiking and were immediately warmly welcomed! The service was outstanding! Absolutely competent, friendly and accommodating, we were looked after very well. The food was excellent, there were different types of tapas and for me a Viennese style schnitzel! Crispy, wafer-thin, just the way it should be! As my personal tip, order the braised onions and the pepper sauce, it was incredibly tasty! All in all, one of the best restaurants I've ever visited.

Food was very good - it really tasted exceptionally good. The portions are really very small for the price. You have to order at least 3-4 of the tapas per person (=€40) but the selection is also large and interesting/diverse. Unfortunately, the service is really, really bad. The service is friendly but we waited forever for everything even though there weren't many people in the restaurant other than us. Wrong drinks were delivered, after waiting 20 minutes for the desert we were then told that it was out. Doesn't have to be... It took a very long time just for someone to bring us the menu. We had to ask for everything twice. When bread was ordered, it was only served upon request and when everyone had already finished eating. Conclusion: the food was good but we wouldn't come back. Very difficult.

“A culinary experience that delights!” I had the pleasure of visiting this tapas restaurant recently and I have to say it was an absolute highlight! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm, inviting atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and exude a cozy Spanish elegance. The menu is a treasure trove of authentic tapas, and every single selection exceeded my expectations. The variety of flavors, the loving preparation and the freshness of the ingredients were simply outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the Gambas al Ajillo – juicy, aromatic and perfectly seasoned. The Batata Harra was also a wonderful mix of crispy and spicy, an absolute must! The service team was attentive, friendly and very competent. Our waitress guided us through the menu with great knowledge and recommended the right wines that perfectly complemented our dishes. This restaurant has managed to capture the Spanish lifestyle in every detail - from the quality of the food to the atmosphere and service. It is the perfect place to spend an evening with friends or family while immersing yourself in the world of Spanish tapas. I can fully recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

The food is great, unusual and very good, not cheap but adequate! I've been there several times🥰

Food was good overall but the service lacked efficiency and wasn’t exactly up to par. - Waited for a total of 75 minutes until our food arrived, at which point we were about to give up and leave. - While we were waiting, staff never came to check on us. Had to call them over to ask about our order, to which they replied that the kitchen was super busy. Fine, but when we first placed our order (at 19:45), half of their customers were gone already, and no new customers came in. - Wrong orders. Serving size of one of our drinks was incorrect, they served a different soup (I ordered banana-chili soup, they brought ginger pumpkin instead), asked for a second beer while waiting for the food, which never arrived, had to order it one more time, and the missing one actually showed up on the bill. Ridiculous.

Wir waren zur Einschulung eines Kindes im Two for You und waren sehr begeistert! Alle Einschulungskinder haben eine Geschenktüte erhalten, was eine tolle Aufmerksamkeit ist. Von der Bedienung wurden wir umfassend, kompetent und freundlich bedient. Dies erlebe ich nur noch äußerst selten. Die Getränke- und Speisekarte macht Lust auf mehr und es ist gar nicht so leicht, sich zu entscheiden. Wir haben uns für die große (internationale) Tapasplatte entschieden und es war sehr gut! Von Handkäse bis zum Zebragulasch war jedes Schälchen ein Erlebnis. Auch das Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen, man sitzt allerdings sehr eng, aber wenn auch die anderen Gäste freundlich sind, kann man sich gut organisieren. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Two for You sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank an das Team für den schönen Tag!

A mild summer evening in Idstein. The service was very attentive. The food delicious. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I would love to come back.

We had dinner with a large group, it took a while but it was worth it! Food was very good, everyone was happy. The menu didn't come out so quickly at the beginning (perhaps offering bread with dip for free in advance would be great) Beer garden very nice (even better decorated at the European Championships). toilet clean, It would be nice for children to have something to keep them busy (painting supplies, etc.) Food (salad for me) was a poem! Schnitzel great, rich and very tasty!

We (2 people) went there spontaneously after the city tour. Ambience very nice and pleasant, outside in the beer garden you can still invest; the red checkered tablecloths were simply inappropriate. Staff nice and helpful. The food was simply delicious; three kinds of falafel; but I think it's too expensive. There were really 3 small pieces!!! , When you have to pay extra for bread. Tapas is always with bread, if you want to present it differently, then it shouldn't be so expensive! The justification that they are regional products is unfortunately not correct here, But it was a nice experience

We celebrated our civil wedding on Friday at Two for you with 14 adults and 4 children and everyone was totally thrilled. It was beautifully decorated and set. We had just said in advance that we wanted it to be a little more festive and were then allowed to sit at this beautiful table for the evening. The service was always there and the food was delicious. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. our every wish was fulfilled and we had a wonderful evening. Many thanks to Tom for the smooth process and the great communication. Also to Mo for the great service all evening. And of course to the kitchen for the great food. It was a 10/10 decision and we can fully recommend it. If we are in Idstein again, we will definitely come back. 🎉❤️

Absolute recommendation. Top. Food and service great. The atmosphere is very pleasant. As a business tourist from Austria traveling alone, I was even accepted into the fully reserved beer garden and I was able to enjoy the Euro 2024 final in this family atmosphere.

Bring your time, so really bring your time. I was there at 7:15 p.m. and it was 8:45 p.m. by the time the starter (bread with dips) was served. Main course then around 9:15 p.m. It was also difficult to reorder drinks for the waiting time as service was rarely seen. I don't know what it was about. The table next to us, which was already deserted when we arrived, was only cleared after almost 2 hours. Regarding the food - most of the tapas were really good, but it wasn't amazing either. All in all: you can do it, but you shouldn't go here really hungry.

A nice restaurant in itself, but the service was very rude and we only received four thin slices of bread for the bread tapas, which would normally pass for less than two slices. At decent restaurants you get bread for free and we had to reorder it every time for a fee. Otherwise, the African tapas are recommended. Vegetarians also get their money's worth.

Yes….very nice atmosphere and quiet guest garden with lots of greenery. … The food order works but - even though it wasn't full - it wasn't that great... Only brought the wrong thing for both of us... Then you had to ask again for the side dish...and the espresso at the end - then didn't come at all! Food was ok… maybe it could have been presented a little nicer! For example, the lemon in my crystal wheat was larger than the piece of Z. for my schnitzel.

We were here for the first time today and had a place on the terrace. Lots of young staff, we thought that was nice. It was very crowded and of course everything didn't go smoothly, but we're not on the run here either. Our waitresses were Giulia and Lilly - both very friendly and attentive. Other customers have complained about poor service - we cannot understand that. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The tapas taste good. However, there are other criteria that have to be right, such as: portion size and appropriate pricing. These didn't fit when we visited the restaurant. There were three of us, we each had 2 tapas, 2 dips and 1 fig bread. We paid over €80 for this. Despite the price, we weren't even full.

This was my first time eating there and I can really recommend it! However, the selection for vegans is not that big now, I find it particularly annoying (but again nothing new for me because chefs often don't pay close attention to the modularity of their components) that a burger made with Beyond Meat ( wow, who would have expected that, awesome!) cannot be offered as vegan. Of the dips, only the hummus was vegan. I think it's a pretty small selection, I get annoyed every time I go out to eat somewhere and have to go home with some side dishes. Since I'm not a fan of hummus and falafel, there was even less left and my mood drops as I study the alternatives, while everyone around me throws pitying looks again (not nice...) It would be desirable if this little detail was improved on the dips and the burger buns. That would increase the selection on the menu enormously for me (and also for other guests)! And honestly, it's not rocket science to make an aioli vegan! It also lasts longer and you don't have to worry about salmonella or the resulting reduced shelf life. When I go out to eat, I expect a little more choice because after all, everyone else has it too. I'd rather stay at home but I don't really want to; I love going out to eat and drink with my friends and never make a fuss, but I do get annoyed when I get home and review. If you already have a Beyond Meat patty on offer and waste potential, it frustrates me twice as much because I trust the chef more in his role, because a good kitchen should ideally be modular (!) and flexible. Conclusion: there are more choices and offerings for vegans at McDonalds, Burgerking and Dominos Pizza than in such a beautiful and cozy restaurant like this...it's a shame! With just a few simple steps, even more choices would be possible! So I'm thinking about whether I even want to go back and eat side dishes after next Wednesday, when I'll be there again. Because what the chef has delivered is of a high standard and shows passion and expertise. Ps. I didn't even look at the desserts. I usually skip this section anyway because everything is drowning in cream or dairy products. If a restaurant can also offer this category vegan (on a regular basis), I will also come regularly.

We spontaneously reserved a table for two for Tuesday evening, which turned out to be a good decision. The restaurant was very busy. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to choose one of the reserved tables. All of the food was excellent! The crispy pork belly was to die for! We tried taps through almost everything. The baguette was freshly baked and very tasty. However, we wouldn't order the flatbread again. Only the service could sometimes be a bit more attentive. We can fully recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back if we have a longer journey.

Really a really great place. Went there for the first time and immediately loved it 👌👍😁 The atmosphere was perfect, the service was excellent and of course the food was very, very tasty 😋. The four of us tried many of the international tapas and everything was very tasty 😋. We will be back definitely. If you want to try something exotic from Africa, you will also get your money's worth with grasshoppers ☺️

We were at Two for You today with a group of 20 people, the food was super tasty and on the table quickly. There is something for everybody. We were definitely very satisfied.

We were excited about Two for you's new concept and were not disappointed. When we made our reservation by phone, we were greeted very friendly and given a nice table in the garden. Unfortunately, despite the cushions, the chairs aren't quite as comfortable, but perhaps we'll invest in new garden furniture in the future. The operation is new and has not yet quite reached the old standard. But tries hard. The tapas are a poem. Especially the prawns. I found it a bit irritating that you have to pay extra for bread for tapas, especially since the tapas are rather expensive. My tip: the first bread basket is on the house, repeat orders cost money. The tapas are of very good quality. The foray through different countries/continents is interesting. The two of us had 4 tapas and 2 dips, which was completely sufficient. The prawns are highly recommended. And of course the homemade lemonade as a drink. Parking is of course a problem in the old town. So you can no longer park directly in front of the restaurant like you used to. We parked at the Witches' Tower and enjoyed strolling through the beautiful old town. Many thanks to the team for a wonderful evening. It's definitely not the last time we've been to Two for You.

Great cozy and appealing atmosphere, very nice service, despite a large group at 3 tables, drinks and food were served quickly table by table. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty! Highly Recommended! I had the grilled ostrich kebab skewer - to die for! The gambas al ajillo and the olive mountain farmer's bread were also a poem! The icing on the cake was the Crema Catalana!

Super delicious food. We were there with 22 people and food was brought to the table quickly. Highly recommended if you like delicious tapas or a Viennese schnitzel. The price is a bit more expensive, but the ambience, service and food are therefore top!

Unfortunately it was a bit of a letdown due to the poor service. After both the starter and the main course, no one cleared the empty plates. This became bizarre in that they then wanted to give us the plates with the main course in our hands so that we could clear the table. After we had finished eating, we sat again for a good 15 minutes with empty plates...other tables were cleaned with dedication and chatter...coffee or dessert...none. There is no shortage of staff but the service seems overwhelmed / uncoordinated.

The old Two for you was generally a different level! The food is still good, although not as good as before, although I find it difficult to understand the decision to make tapas. Why? What has definitely deteriorated is the service.

The food was delicious. You sit very cramped. The tables are too small for 4 people. Unfortunately the service wasn't good that evening. It took forever for the drinks to be brought. The food was not fully delivered. We had to complain 3 times until everything was finally on the table. Shortly before eight we were informed that we had to leave promptly because the table would be reassigned after 2 hours. We viewed that as a very short window of time. Then all of a sudden the reservation for 8 p.m. was canceled and we could now order a dessert. No thanks. That wasn't a successful evening.

A great restaurant, great team, especially the chef. African cuisine in the Taunus region is something you would expect to find in Frankfurt or Wiesbaden, but it also tastes very good here. But my personal favorite are the gambas al ajillo. I'm looking forward to the steaks on my next visit. I wish the team much success with the new restaurant.

We have now eaten twice at Two-for-You in the former potato kitchen. We were absolutely thrilled both times. The atmosphere is very appealing, the cuisine is great and the dishes have that certain something. The service was very attentive and customer focused. Extra requests were gladly fulfilled. Special praise to Alessandro the bartender! An absolute enrichment for the gastronomy in the old town. It has its price and is worth every cent. We'll definitely come back and try out the beer garden.

Very expensive. 20€ for a veggie burger with fries. And then you're being taken for a ride: it's on the menu as the "Beyond Meat Burger". In fact, you get some dry, bland rag as a patty. Even when I asked, I was told that this was a Beyond Meat patty. Here you would have had the chance to be honest and say that you had delivery problems or something similar instead of continuing to lie to the customer.

The tapas are amazing. Super creative and every dish is a tasty work of art in its own way. The new ambience is super nice!

The “two for you” team can now be found in downtown Idstein. The newly renovated restaurant serves tapas from different countries: Spain, Germany, the Orient and Africa. Plus some main dishes such as pasta and schnitzel. The tapas were tasty and the service was good. However, it is extremely loud when it is fully booked.

We were in the restaurant for the first time and loved the atmosphere. You can tell from the decor that the owner has put some thought into it. The food tasted very good and the steak with delicious vegetables and fried potatoes on the hot stone was very tasty. The dips and the different types of bread too. I was in the new Two for you on March 17, 2024. I ordered flatbread, 2 different tapas, a two for you salad with raspberries and strawberries and, as an additional treat, grilled desert locusts. Overall, it was an original and delicious lunch and, for me, a first for desert locusts. I have been a regular guest at Two for you for years and can only recommend it. Bad service, 2nd. Bottle of water only after eating instead of with the meal, no real, useful answer to questions about food! When paying, with an amount of around €100 and a tip of around 8% (which was already too much for such poor service), the waiter received the words “too good”! The waiter was right, it was “too kind” of us to leave our hard-earned money. Thank you and never again! Not to recommend this restaurant! I wouldn't call it a restaurant! In addition, the published reviews are misleading because the food pictures published there are not offered on today's current menu!

We were guests at the reopening of the “Two for you” in Idstein today and have every reason to leave a review. The cuisine is simply outstanding - period. The service is professional, warm and very patient when it comes to questions about the individual tapas and dishes - some of which are still unknown. In general, the ambience and the whole atmosphere reminded us more of a relaxing trip than of a visit to a restaurant. There is just so much tangible passion in this location. And the map? It has to be said that we always enjoyed being guests at the old “Two For You” and the cuisine was already excellent back then, but with the new direction the restaurant has actually taken it up a notch. The tapas are exceptional and varied, everything tastes finely balanced and fresh. The homemade lemonade is sugar-free and worth a visit alone. In general, the map prompted us to snab around the continents :) We are glad that we managed to get a table - actually only by chance - and we will definitely come back despite the longer journey.

We were a table of 10 and had pre-ordered. The restaurant was well attended with another Christmas party and other parties. Unfortunately there was only one (very friendly) service on site, so we had to wait a long time for food and drinks. The schnitzel came and 10 minutes later the fries. My salmon was very tasty - but cold... At 9 p.m. we were asked if we would like dessert. Unfortunately, we couldn't decide right away and at 9:15 p.m. we didn't get any more dessert because the kitchen had already been cleaned. We had ice cream, but no parfait 😔. well... I know this restaurant differently and was a bit disappointed. But I'll try again...

We were guests at lunchtime today, my partner had lunch (Vienna schnitzel with fries and salad for €11) and pumpkin soup as a starter. I had the wild salmon with mashed sweet potatoes in teriyaki sauce with wakame salad. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarren with vanilla sauce and apple compote. Really TOP value for money! Also the service! Even though there was a lot going on, we were always noticed and given full attention! It certainly wasn't the last time we were there, we'd love to come back 🙂

Wir waren direkt unterhalb des Restaurants Gast auf dem Wohnmobilstellplatz. Mit Abstand das beste Essen seit Monaten. Nudeln mit Flußkrebsen und Salat mit Geflügel. Restaurant bedenkenlos zu empfehlen ! ( Mit Hund nur auf der Terrasse möglich. )

Ich war hier jetzt schon einige Male Essen. Die Bedienung ist total nett und auch Mal für einen kurzen Scherz zu haben. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön , obwohl mit die Terrasse an den Tennisplätzen am besten gefällt. Der Innenraum ist auch sehr modern gehalten aber kommt mir von den Möbeln und vom Licht ein wenig zu kühl/kalt rüber. Das kann leider schnell eine ungemütliche Stimmung, zu mindest bei mir, auslösen. Jetzt aber zum Essen. Die Gerichte auf der Karte sind wirklich sehr sehr lecker und ich hab hier schon einiges probiert wie die afrikanische Suppe, der Burger, ein indisches Gericht oder der Lachsflammkuchen. Auch die Desserts auf der Karte sind total lecker, genauso wie die Eissorten die Angeboten werden (bei denen auch die jeweilige kcal-Anzahl aufgelistet ist) die hausgemachte Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen👍🏼 Ab und zu ist die Bedienung ein wenig verpeilt, weil dann ein Gericht vergessen wird oder viel zu spät serviert wird, wenn die anderen Begleiter schon die Teller leer haben. Hier haben wir aber immer eine kleine Entschädigung erhalten. Alles in allem bin ich aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Essen und gehe sehr gerne hier hin 👍🏼

Schöne Location, freundliche Bedienung und tolles Essen. Sind jedes Mal dort, wenn es uns nach Idstein verschlägt. Früher war die Karte jedoch etwas aufregender... Mittlerweile hat man mehr Gerichte die eher "massentauglich" sind.

Wir sind regelmäßig Gäste in diesem Restaurant, das sich durch eine kreative und abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte empfiehlt. Mittags gibt es - auch zum Mitnehmen - von DI bis FR neben der normalen Karte auch jeweils 2 Tagesgerichte, davon ein vegetarisches. Wir waren bisher immer zufrieden. Einzig die etwas lange Wartezeit stört ein bisschen, wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Aber der freundliche Service und die gute Qualität der Speisen machen dieses kleine Manko mehr als wett. Sehr zu empfehlen.
