Delicious food in the stylish ambience of the hunting lodge in Haseltal. Despite the large number of people, the service was quick and courteous. The waiting time for the food was a little longer, but it was wonderful to linger on the great terrace with shaded areas and a beautiful view. Our dog was also welcome and we were offered a water bowl. A really great excursion restaurant with free parking in front of the door and numerous signposted hiking trails.

We had lunch with several people on Monday. I ordered tortelini panna and asked in advance whether the tortellini were all dente or soft. I was told they were soft. Ok, the order came, firstly there was way too much Parmesan on top. The pasta was more than al dente and had been in the water for a maximum of 30 seconds. The ham was cut way too thick and didn't look appetizing. All in all, I let the noodles go back with the request that I ordered them soft and would be nice if I could get that. After 10 minutes my tortellini came back. But well, they weren't soft the second time either, and this time because apparently it wasn't enough the first time. Now add twice as much Parmesan. But what needs to be praised and therefore the 2 stars is the pizza. The pizza is great, there's no other way to say that. But unfortunately the tortellini made the rating so bad.

There are double standards. Also, white wine spritzer is sweet. Looks like a check-in hall. As a brewery, I recommend taking a look at Bavaria. Off to new things, dear innkeepers.

Es wurde für 3 Personen per Email reserviert. Hatten auch die Bestätigung bekommen. Sonntag halb 12. Wir waren pünktlich vor Ort. Die Tür war geschlossen und blieb es auch. In der Tür war ein kleiner Zettel worauf stand das das Restaurant geschlossen ist. Man wurde nicht informiert!! Ein ganz schlechtes Verhalten.

Wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen hier. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit frischen Obstsalat, knusprigem Bacon, vielen Säften. Das Abendessen war im Rahmen der Halbpension des Hotels. Keine Riesenportionen, für mich ausreichend. Ich habe Gemüse vermisst. Salatbar darf man nur in Anspruch nehmen, wenn man auf die Suppe verzichtet. Für 35 Euro schon happig. Der Service war gut und freundlich.

I had the pleasure of visiting Leonardo in Bad Orb today and would like to share my experience. First I ordered a hot chocolate which was really visually appealing. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing - it was more like warm milk than hot chocolate, as clearly too little chocolate was used. At a price of almost €5 I would have expected a lot more. Unfortunately, the service also left somewhat mixed feelings. The waiter tried to be humorous, but the comments seemed rather pushy and made us feel very rushed while choosing. That made it a bit uncomfortable for my companion and I at first. When the waiter's family arrived, there was a clear disturbance because no one paid attention to the volume and thus disturbed other guests. I also find it absolutely inappropriate that the little daughter went into the kitchen several times - constantly opening the door, closing the door, sometimes going in to get a pizza, then going out again. For hygienic reasons, in my opinion it has no place in the kitchen. However, the Leonardo exceeded all expectations with the main course! I ordered a cordon bleu with croquettes, salad and a mushroom cream sauce - and it was fantastic. The cordon bleu was the best I've ever had and the mushroom cream sauce was unbeatable. The salad dressing was also excellent, the portions generous and the croquettes plentiful. An absolute delight! In summary: Even if the details weren't perfect, I can definitely recommend the Leonardo. The food is great and the outdoor terrace is a great place to linger. We'll definitely be back!

Food is not recommended. The hot dog wasn't even in a hot dog bun. Selection is also very disappointing. We were really looking forward to schnitzel fries because you can get them everywhere except there 😄 so everything can be expanded.
