We received a friendly welcome, but were only asked about drinks during the greeting. We had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food and then received a dish we hadn't ordered. In short: the food was delicious, but the service was abysmal.

I ate the carbonara pasta; it tasted awful, only the pasta water had any flavor, and the pizza was tiny. We will never come back. There are two waiters; the young guy does everything at all the tables. The waitress is cocky and does nothing, just sits around. I absolutely cannot recommend this! We reserved a table for two a good week in advance for 6:30 pm. We hadn't even sat down when the waiter asked if it would be okay if we could possibly add two more guests to our table of four. Somewhat irritated, but also annoyed, we agreed, but only if there was absolutely no other solution. This thankfully didn't happen. We then wondered why we had even bothered to reserve in advance if such a "surprise" was to occur. At 6:45 pm we ordered: a drink each, as well as an appetizer and a main course. The drinks and appetizer arrived quite quickly. After about an hour, we asked about the status of the main course. Despite our glasses being obviously empty, we weren't asked again if we wanted anything else to drink. Shortly after 8:00 pm, the main course was finally served. Unfortunately, it was the wrong dish, at least in my case. When the waiter then asked if everything was there and if everything was okay, I felt slightly cheated. He offered to send me the correct meal "quickly." I politely declined. The complimentary dessert couldn't salvage the otherwise abysmal service. When the bill initially listed the food I had ordered, we felt completely out of place. Only after we pointed this out to the waiter was the bill corrected. In short: delicious food, disastrous service. A doner kebab tastes just as good 😉

This was our fourth time at La Strada, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the staff left a lot to be desired. They were sometimes dismissive and rude. Locals were given priority, while outsiders were made to wait.

The owner is very nice, but unfortunately, the staff leaves a lot to be desired. We were brought the wrong food, and instead of apologizing, the waiter insisted it was tortellini, when it was clearly penne. Furthermore, a vegetarian dish was served with sausage, which is completely inappropriate. Cleanliness is rather mediocre, as are the food and the supposedly homemade drinks. Since there aren't many alternatives in the area, the pizzeria is often busy – but this was the last time for us. We prefer to drive a few places further for better food and friendlier service.

We only had a pasta dish, a salad, and bruschetta, and we waited a very long time for it. Unfortunately, my truffle pasta was completely covered in butter, so I could only eat the top layer of pasta. You could have spooned the melted butter; there was so much in the plate. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she thought it was normal. For more than €22, I would have loved to have pasta and truffles. And the pasta was tossed in a wheel of cheese, so how much fat do you want to add to a dish? I was very disappointed and will never eat here again. The bruschetta my companion tried was prepared in a similar way; here the bread simply tasted of olive oil. Less is sometimes more.

I can't say what it's like inside. We sat outside, where we got a table without a reservation. The outdoor seating is located directly in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk and under umbrellas across the street (it looks funny when the waiters sprint across the street with trays, but it works!). We had to wait a long time for the menus, but the otherwise super-friendly waitress was suddenly in a hurry to take our order. The food was top-notch. The only criticism is that the scallops mentioned on the menu were swapped for calamari without comment in my pasta dish. And: Large shrimp are not the same as scampi, but many locals make this mistake. All in all, it was a great evening with very good food, and I can recommend it.

Individual meals were also made possible for children – very positive! Service was okay, but could have been warmer. Unfortunately, the waiting times were quite long, especially for a lunch menu and not very busy. The antipasti advice was rather generous, which didn't necessarily meet our needs. The price is rather high at around €30 per person (for four adults and three children). Overall, a good restaurant with potential in terms of service and value for money.

We had tortellini, rump steak, spaghetti and pizza! Soup was a bit sour, probably too much lemon juice, tortellini were bags of goods and didn't taste good, it's a shame that Italians don't make them themselves. I would have rather had 3 homemade ones in the soup than 10 that didn't taste good. Unfortunately the steak was bloody and not medium rare as ordered! Spaghetti was really a children's portion for 13 euros! Pizza looked good and was ok! All in all, only recommended if you like pizza, everyone else would rather go somewhere else!

We had a pizza and spaghetti, the pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten and the spaghetti was also very tasty, nothing overly seasoned, so really very good food. The service was very friendly and well maintained. Price, performance can be improved, but really in the other direction. I think pizza was €13.90 with fresh ingredients, plus expensive ham and cheese, so way too cheap. Spaghetti with seafood was really cheap too. Maybe it's because of the location, but you can never eat out so well and cheaply in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. We only pay 32 euros with two people, so it would be 6 stars if I had given it to you. Keep it up, keep the same quality, even if it's a euro more expensive.

I had pizza mix with double cheese... Pizza very cold, double cheese everywhere but not on my pizza... The edge on the outside is very thick and unfortunately it's just not nice to eat when it's cold... In the middle the dough is very thin and soggy... Pizza has completely hung down and Not crispy at all, it just tasted like fresh mushrooms. Unfortunately there was nothing else to taste... A mixed experience – more pizzeria than ristorante The fresh ravioli tasted great, but the lamb was unfortunately tough and disappointing. It seems that the real strength of this place lies in the pizza - it's probably the best seller on the menu. The menu is reminiscent of a classic ristorante, but the ambience tells a different story. The dark room with simple wooden tables without tablecloths appears more sober than inviting. The typical Italian flair that you expect from a ristorante is unfortunately missing here - it's difficult to feel comfortable. It's definitely a good choice for pizza fans, but if you're looking for a traditional Italian restaurant you might be a little disappointed.

Ich war hier mit meiner Familie und haben erstmal Garnelen als Vorspeise bestellt. Die waren super! Auch di Pizzen waren perfekt. Service war sehr nett, besonders die italienische Frau. Insgesamt waren erstaunt. Das Essen kam bei uns kam in circa 5 Minuten. Insgesamt würde ich es sehr empfehlen.

The pizza was good, you can't complain about that. I ordered an original Spaghetti Carbonara (it is made from egg yolk and has no cream). In the original carbonara, the pasta was not cooked through and the egg yolk was still runny, this should not be the case. The pasta for the children was peppered and therefore not edible for them.

We had lunch with several people on Monday. I ordered tortelini panna and asked in advance whether the tortellini were all dente or soft. I was told they were soft. Ok, the order came, firstly there was way too much Parmesan on top. The pasta was more than al dente and had been in the water for a maximum of 30 seconds. The ham was cut way too thick and didn't look appetizing. All in all, I let the noodles go back with the request that I ordered them soft and would be nice if I could get that. After 10 minutes my tortellini came back. But well, they weren't soft the second time either, and this time because apparently it wasn't enough the first time. Now add twice as much Parmesan. But what needs to be praised and therefore the 2 stars is the pizza. The pizza is great, there's no other way to say that. But unfortunately the tortellini made the rating so bad.

Wir eine Gruppe von 8 Freunden hatten im La Strada viel Spaß gehabt. Das essen, größtenteils Pizza und etwas vom Grill war einzigartig. Der Service war top. Wir mussten nicht lange warten und alles wurde zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Anschließend gab es noch ein Grappa aufs Haus Toller Abend

Unfortunately disappointing. Friends wanted to eat there with us, and since there was an event with reservations taking place on site, we took it to go. Not a problem per se. I asked if there was also the option of a tomato salad, and after a short back and forth I said yes. Halfway through we noticed that the salad was missing. But what came next was amazing. 12€ for a plate of tomatoes is more bad than good. You couldn't call it dressing either. For the vegan who ordered the pizza without cheese, we had to scrape it off.
