Ich würde gerne mehr Sterne geben. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Vom extrem aufmerksamen und vor allem freundlichen Service über das immer perfekt zubereitete und mit liebe garnierte Essen hin zu sehr fairen Preisen. Es bleibt kein Wunsch offen und es gibt keinen Grund zu meckern. Besonders die Fischplatte ist ein Traum und für nur 18,90€ angemessen bepreist. Wir kommen seit Jahren einmal im Monat und diese Tradition wird definitiv beibehalten. Dazu kommt der wirklich riesige Kinderspielbereich. Danke an das gesamte Personal!

Great place for a family celebration! The hosts are very open to individual requests, even outside of official opening hours. In between, the surrounding forest invites you to go on hikes and walks of varying lengths. Own playground in front of the door. Free WiFi available.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can only warmly recommend the pub Gemütlichkeit! The chicken is simply the best thing I've ever eaten - juicy, perfectly seasoned and always freshly prepared. The staff is incredibly nice and makes you feel welcome straight away. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxing evening with friends or family. A little tip: reservations are really recommended because the pub is always full! But that only speaks for the quality and popularity of this great place. I'll definitely be back!

As always when we are out and about in Alsfeld, we had dinner in the potato sack again today. The food was again excellent, as always everything was freshly prepared and simply great. My girlfriend had the vegan Kumpir and I had my favorite dish, the Championrahmeschnitzel with fries. Both were unbeatable again. The service girls are always nice and friendly and very accommodating. It is and will definitely remain our favorite restaurant.

Normally I don't write unpleasant reviews but the situation left me a bit disappointed. I wanted to ask if we could reserve a table for 4 people and was contacted straight away (via telephone) If I didn't know that it's Christmas Day, which we have today!? I wanted to reserve the table for December 28th and had already found out about the opening times on the website. Well, because the Christmas season is definitely really stressful for the staff on site, I apologized for my call... At the end the lady wanted to write down my phone number and said quickly, sorry again for not having my phone number in mind and the process taking a little longer, about 2 minutes. Finally I gave the details and they hung up straight away without a word. (Is the table reserved now? I have no idea, but I won't call again :D) I definitely won't eat there again, which is a shame because the kitchen is of really good quality and the food has always been top. But I don't feel welcome as a guest but rather like a nuisance after this phone call.

I went to the restaurant in the afternoon to order a large delivery for the evening. I received an incredibly friendly welcome at the restaurant. We went through the order list together again. I will receive a call when the driver leaves. I had ordered 20 dishes for 8:15 p.m. At 8:20 p.m. we had received 20 hot dishes and 2 pizzas + 1 pasta dish (because there were too many or done wrong --> for free). It was very tasty. Extra requests were taken into account. However, the pizza wasn't cut, which was a bit bad since we ate without a table and with knives that weren't all that sharp. The price was perfectly fine. 20 dishes for €184

Lovely evening in a quaint, old fashioned Kneipe. The beer was excellent and the food was substantial and freshly prepared. The Schnitzel and accompanying Bratkartoffeln and salad were delicious and presented with care. The liqueur to finish was very good. If you want an interesting evening with good food, good drink and friendly caring staff, basically Patricia, then this is the place to be. It is a small but perfectly formed establishment behind the Turm. Try it, it is worth it.
