This restaurant is simply adorable. A place where everyone is welcome and the food is served quickly. The waiters were super nice to us and were very attentive to us. The children also had a lot of fun and because they were good, they got a surprise ice cream scoop. The food was delicious, fresh and most importantly, it was Italian. 5/5 stars, would order again.

This evening we went to this pizzeria for the first time. On the recommendation of the neighbor, my mother-in-law reserved a table for four adults and two children for 6 p.m. When we arrived the restaurant was already pretty full. There was no space left inside and we could have sat outside, but it was too cold for us. Finally we were offered a place in a side room. Two other couples also arrived there at the same time. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored at first: no one brought us a menu and no one asked if we would like something to drink. It wasn't until about half an hour later that the waiter appeared. The other two couples were now fed up with waiting and left the restaurant. We ordered the drinks and also the food at the same time. The waiter informed us that it would take about 45 minutes. After this time, the waiter came again and told us that he had good news - the food would be coming soon. However, to our surprise, the table of four adults and two children who had arrived after us was served first. In addition, the dishes were not served there at the same time, but every five minutes. At some point my mother-in-law also got her side salad. After she had eaten this, she finally received the fries and the chicken breast fillet in gorgonzola sauce - but the fries were only lukewarm. The other three adults and two children still had to wait for our food. After 2 hours and 15 minutes our patience was exhausted. My husband spoke to the boss, canceled the meal and only wanted to pay for the drinks. The only positive thing about that evening was that we didn't have to pay anything. Shortly afterwards, however, three pizzas and a pizza bread were brought to us in boxes. Unfortunately, a pizza was still missing and the pizzas delivered did not correspond to our orders. Since we hadn't eaten anything up to that point, we accepted the offer. To avoid the pizzas being cold at home, we decided to eat them directly from the boxes at the restaurant. I am 50 years old and have never experienced anything like this. The service was friendly, but extremely unprofessional. The waiter came to our table several times, but never really cared about our problem and apparently didn't feel responsible. This was definitely our first and last visit to this pizzeria. We only give one star because we didn't have to pay anything - otherwise everything was disappointing.

Were here today for the first time and also for the last time. The service got the star otherwise there wouldn't be one. After almost 2 hours we finally got our food, and in that time four couples had already gone home full. The boss didn't seem to care when he was asked about it. I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. We will definitely not be coming back again.

The worst meal I have ever been served in my life. Carbonara is scrambled eggs with pasta. The pizza was delivered burnt on top and bottom and soggy. I wouldn't want it for free and still had to pay €40 for it. I will not forget that the order was delivered 40 minutes after the stated delivery date.

Waited over an hour for the food. Only after 35 minutes did I get the information that the kitchen was overwhelmed with Lieferando. The mince in the sauce of the tortellini was inedible, rancid in taste. My wife ordered pasta with cream sauce, which was overly greasy and apparently not fresh. That evening we both had diarrhea and severe stomach pain. The drinks were bad, the milk coffee, very sour and without foam. The apple spritzer had hardly any carbonation and was not refreshingly cold. Never again, the other guests were also very disappointed.

The pizza is very tasty, the service is great and the ambience is great too. This restaurant is definitely recommended

I was there today, the first time in years. It always used to be good. It's easy to sit there and the service was always nice. We also ate a lot there from work but what was going on there today... We arrived and there were 4-5 tables full in the beer garden. Everyone had nothing to eat on their plate. Okay, maybe they just came. We sat down and a waiter came straight away, very nice. He petted our dog and wiped our table dry. We asked for a bowl to drink for the dog and then placed our drink order. We noticed how the other guests had probably been waiting for a long time. We then placed our food order and waited immediately. There was no drinking for the dog. The waiter came very often and kept asking all possible guests if everything was okay. They were all waiting and a little impatient. When the waiter came back I asked him again about the dog bowl and he apologized and finally brought us one. We had been sitting there for half an hour. Meanwhile, the pizza taxi was busy. Sometimes 7-9 warming boxes with food in one car. And every 20 minutes a different driver came. We waited and watched all this, because it was getting cold I ordered a coffee. Then the food came. It looked good so far, but neither of us got what was ordered. I had a dish with chanterelles and got porcini mushrooms, probably a minor offence. My husband ordered a pasta creation with cream sauce and ham and got tortellini with Bolognese sauce and cheese... Not so great. We tried it and it was fine, at first. My sauce was so greasy that I left it alone. My husband was also rather disappointed. The waiter came probably 9 times during our visit and I know he is the least responsible, so I didn't want to tell him that. We had been seeing the leftover workers taking packaged pasta and tortellini out of the warehouse the whole time, probably just from Lidl or at least that's what the package looks like. When we wanted to pay, every restaurateur gave the standard excuse: "It's suddenly broken today." OK, so I stayed put and my husband got money. Then the waiter came back and I was annoyed and told him all of this, even though he probably couldn't help it, but we just wanted to have a nice evening and it was over. A lot of customers or not, the shop has to run somehow and before you serve the customer the wrong food, it's better to ask again. We paid and left. Now I'm sitting at home with a stomach ache. Thanks But what you have to say: The staff is friendly and the food is beautifully prepared. I won't be visiting this store again for a few years

Al Vecchio Borgo Ristorante offers an outstanding quality of delicious food and desserts. The dishes are authentically prepared and taste excellent. I was particularly impressed by the variety of dishes and the freshness of the ingredients. The service was attentive and friendly, which rounded off the overall experience. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

06/08/24 around 7:30 p.m The staff was really very friendly and accommodating. A very big compliment. :) Food very delicious, very well seasoned and the pizza was topped with lots of love. Unfortunately, it often happens that the toppings are simply thrown carelessly onto the pizza because there is simply too much stress in the kitchen. IT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE! We are thrilled and that's how it should be. Thank you, we will see each other more often. :)

Delivery was on time, but the schnitzel with Bolognese sauce was more like a schnitzel in tomato mince soup. That used to be better. Edit: it's better now, it was probably a one-time slip-up

Waren da mit meiner Familie, aber das Essen waren leider sehr überbewertet. Hat meine Familie und mir gar nicht geschmeckt. Das Service war leider auch schlecht. Der Sohn von der Besitzter hat sich sehr unrespektvoll gegen uns gehalten. Ich werde auf jeden Fall das Restaurent nicht wieder besuchen.

Let me put it this way, I always eat my Diavolo pizza there. The first pizza I ate there...unforgettable. The other 5 times too, but from then on it got worse and worse. The pizza is no longer what it used to be, I don't know why, because the ingredients are the same, but the preparation is no longer. When I asked if there was a new pizza maker, the answer was no, so why is that? Nowadays the pizzas are almost always burnt, there are too many toppings on the pizza (especially a whole onion, which is really not good), and above all they are simply slapped on with very little love. It doesn't look appetizing anymore, and it isn't anymore. The service has always been bad, you feel like you're not wanted. Well, I know the owner well enough now to know that it's simple as it is, but not very nice for new customers. The ambience is very good and the price is good too. A year ago there would have been 10 stars, today unfortunately only 3 in total. I still recommend eating it on site

Essen ist in Ordnung, allerdings wurde jetzt schon öfters bei der Lieferung etwas vergessen. Die Mitarbeiter müssen ja ihren Job dort richtig hassen, wenn man gleich eine Fresse zieht und unfreundlich behandelt wird, weil man mal ein paar Treppenstufen hoch muss, oder verlangt wird, dass das was vergessen wurde noch nachgeliefert wird.

Pizza zu dünn, zu matschig, zu schwarz.

Das Essen war gut. Aber der Service war sehr verbesserungsbedürftig. Leere Getränke wurden nicht gesehen und es gab auch kein Interesse Getränkebestellungen aufzunehmen. Nach fast 30 Minuten warten auf die Rechnung haben wir an der Theke bezahlt und hatten hier erst einen längeren Kampf da die Rechnung vorne und hinten nicht passte. Vielleicht ist es an Tagen an denen nicht soviel los ist besser.

Essen wurde bestellt. Angegeben wurden 30-40 Minuten Lieferzeit. Die Lieferung hat 2 h gedauert. Bei Anruf wann das Essen kommt wurde man kurz und knapp abgefertigt. Am Ende kam ein Salat zu wenig an

Wir haben unsere Pizzen vom Wohnmobilstellplatz in Alsfeld aus bestellt, deshalb können wir leider keine Bewertung zum Ambiente machen. Wie angekündigt wurde, haben wir ca. 1 Stunde warten müssen aber es hat sich gelohnt. Die Pizzen waren bei Anlieferung noch sehr heiß und mega lecker. Der Fahrer war sehr nett. Alles in einem können wir diese Ristorante sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank!!

Kritikunfähig und Kundenunfreundlich. Leider nicht mehr der Laden der es mal war. Sehr schade. Aber das Sprichwort „der Kunde ist König“ zählt hier nicht.

Ich habe 2 Familienpizzen bestellt, die relativ zügig geliefert wurden, allerdings war bei der 2. Pizza der Karton dermaßen durchgeweicht, das diese schon halb aus dem Karton gefallen ist. Reaktion auf die verständliche ,, Nicht Annahme‘‘ sehr patzig. Wenn der Fahrer dann noch versucht mehr Geld einzukassieren als ihm zu steht rundet das den mehr als fragwürdigen Service ab. Vielleicht sollte a) der Betreiber nochmal überdenken was man unter Service versteht und b) seine Mitarbeiter fragen, warum dem Kunden mehr berechnet wird als auf der Rechnung ausgewiesen! Wir werden auf jeden Fall nicht mehr dort bestellen und würden dies auch niemandem Empfehlen !

Pizza und Salate waren frisch und hervorragend zubereitet. wir kommen sehr gerne persönlich in die Pizzeria oder bestellen es in die Stadt von Alsfeld.

Als ich bestellt habe wurde mir eine Lieferzeit von 40 Minuten genannt. Als nach 1 Stunde die Bestellung immer noch nicht geliefert wurde hatte ich nochmal nachgefragt, da wurde mir gesagt das der Fahrer schon unterwegs sei. Nach 30 Minuten kam er endlich an. Wir haben auf unser Essen 1 1/2 Stunden gewartet! Danach wollte ich anstatt 23,50 Euro nur noch 20 Euro zahlen, aber das wollte der Chef nicht. Ich meine, wenn die Bestellung 50 Minuten später wie versprochen geliefert wird, kann man 3,50 Euro nachlassen.

Wir haben dort einen italienischen Salat gegessen. Sehr lecker und reichhaltig.

Habe mir Tortellini alla Panna und einen Thunfischsalat bestellt. Am Telefon sehr freundlich, der Fahrer auch. Tortellini erstklassig und heiß, der Salat frisch und knackig mit superleckerem Dressing. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis top. Einfach empfehlenswert!!! Ich bin öfters hier in der Gegend und weiß wo ich zukünftig mein Essen bestelle 😀

Ein wunderbarer Italiener mit wirklich tollen Gerichten. Die Preise sind wirklich gut und der Geschmack und die Größe der Portionen ist prima. Ich freue mich schon sehr das Mittagsbuffet auszuprobieren. Immer von 11.30-13.00!

Am 14.03.2023 war ich das erste Mal mit Freunden dort zum Essen. Ich hatte mich für eine Pizza Capricciosa entschieden und war total begeistert, wie cross und lecker die Pizza war. Sehr angetan war ich auch von der Freundlichkeit des Chefs und dem Service. Mittlerweile habe ich weitere Gerichte dort zum abholen bestellt, die allesamt super schmackhaft waren. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Genuss.

Der beste Italiener in der Umgebung. Pizza, Spaghetti Bolognese und die Salate sind sehr gut. Besonders die Salatsauce ist lecker, mit den besten Brötchen dazu. Wir bestellen regelmäßig, fast schon wöchentlich 🙈😅 vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an das Team im Restaurant

Das zweite mal bestellt und wieder entäuscht..Drei famile Pizzen bestellt. Auf der Hawaii haben wir die Ananas suchen müssen,bei allen drei einen mega Rand und nicht belegt.sehr lieblos drauf geklatscht.der preis von 79€ ist OK aber lieber gebe ich etwas mehr aus und habe eine ordentlich belegte pizza.. Nachtrag: Am nächsten Tag lag ein Gutschein im Briefkasten,vielen dank wir werden ihn einlösen

Hab bei Lieferando bestellt. Portion Lasagne war so groß wie ein Stück Butter und alles andere als lecker. Pizza ist der Rand angebrannt und absolut hart. Das gibt auf keinen Fall eine 2 Bestellung. Lieferant war aber freundlich.

Haben über Lieferando bestellt ! Die Preise sind stark angezogen, und Qualität ist unterste Grenze ! Habe noch nie so Schlecht gegessen wie heute ! Die Portion war eher für einen Säugling gedacht ! Und nachdem ich mich telefonisch über die Menge beschwert habe, wurde mir versucht zu erklären das das nun Mal so ist ! Das war definitiv meine letzte Bestellung bei diesem Laden ! Wir bestellen sehr viel Essen , und wir wissen das die Qualität nicht immer zu 100% Gewährleistet werden kann ! Aber das von heute geht absolut gar nicht ! Schade das man einen Stern geben muss um zu bewerten !!!

Ich finde, wenn man keine Bestellungen rechtzeitig fertigstellen kann, sollte man sich das Aufmachen einer Gastronomie sparen. Zusätzlich ist der Geschmack nicht wirklich empfehlenswert, da auf der Pizza mehr Teig als Belag ist. Und für diesen Preis ist das eine reine Katastrophe. Dieser Laden ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Hier würde ich niemals wieder bestellen. Total unfreundlich. Hatten um 5 bestellt und 6 sollte es da sein, um 7 war immernoch nix da. Wir angerufen es hieß er redet mit dem Chef und was war ? Sie haben den AB angemacht und sind nicht mehr ans Telefon gegangen. Dann hat es uns gereicht und wir sind hingefahren. Nie wieder ‼️‼️

-Falsche Lieferadresse -Geschmacklich total Ekelhaft -Verbrannt wie Kohle -Telefonisch 30 Minuten in der Warteschlange gehangen -Personal konnte auf Fragen keine Antworten geben -Die Pizzen kamen beschädigt bei uns an Der Rand der Pizza war so hoch und man kaute Buchstäblich auf Gummi U.v.m. Ich könnte ewig weiter schreiben aber das würde den Rahmen Sprengen Um 22.05Uhr bin ich dann dort hin gefahren und hab die Hälfte des Preises wieder bekommen wenigstens Etwas ich war enttäuscht weil das mein Geburtstags Essen war für meinen Shantychor (Alsfeld ) war

Guten Abend . Das Essen wurde mir empfohlen .Hab bestellt .Es dauert ja alles seine Zeit. Aber wir waren noch nie so enttäuscht. Pommes kalt .Schnitzel mit Bolognese und Käse überbacken total versalzt .Und zum guten Schluss den Salat vergessen . Habe extra gesagt mit Essig und Oel. Der Fahrer fuhr nochmal los und holte den Salat . Der Salat kam total durch einander und mit Weißer Soße. Schade .Ich verstehe wenn Betrieb ist kann schon mal was schief gehn . Aber Schade um das Geld. Tut mir leid .
