We booked a double room. Everything was clean. Bed (crooked) and pillows (extremely flat) could be a bit more comfortable. But it went anyway. The bathroom is very, very large. The price is unbeatable. Gladly again. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant. There's a lot of heart in this family.

Very good chicken. Good service. Since we couldn't sit outside due to a wasp allergy, we were given a special seat in the conservatory so our dog could also have enough space.

Kasseler Str. 38Price/performance is top. The food is brilliant and delicious, home-style cooking. The sour cream salad is awesome. I always enjoy coming here. It's nice that there is still such a family restaurant. I give more than 5 stars. Keep it up

Ziegenhainer Str. 26Excellent trout, side dishes a bit lacking (1/2 potato, small salad), unfortunately no more food options. I tried to make a reservation by phone and email the same day... but received no response, which is a shame.

Markt 16I went for a walk in beautiful Alsfeld in the autumnal weather and then stopped off at Kartoffelsack... I received a very friendly welcome and service and enjoyed my delicious beer 🍺 and food.👍
