I can not say enough good things about this place. The food was unbelievable. Beautiful presentation. The owners / chef were wonderful people and made us spaetzle which wasn't on the seasonal menu. If you're in Potsdam, you MUST try this place.
Very good 😊 what makes this place stand out from the competition is its hot sauce, which is really spicy. I've never had such good and spicy sauce anywhere - that doesn't change that 😊😊😊
Food Connection is located near Johannes Keppler Platz and can therefore compete with some kebab restaurants in the area. Due to the somewhat generic name and the inconspicuous facade, you can't immediately tell that there is kebab here. But it's pretty comfortable inside, there's some seating and the smell of grease and snacks is limited.
The waitress was very nice and attentive when I was there. I had falafel in bread and fries. What's very cool: in addition to the normal flatbread, you can also choose homemade bread, which tastes really, really delicious. The selection of sauces is also quite extensive. I had spicy and garlic - both were delicious. Spicy could have been a little spicier, but overall it was good.
I really liked the salad. I always think it's nice when tomatoes and cucumbers are separate because I don't like tomatoes that much, but I do like cucumbers. Everything was fresh and well cut and the fact that there were a few thin carrot strips in there was a nice idea to make the whole thing even crunchier. However, the bread was very well filled and due to its round shape it was hardly possible to eat the thing properly without causing a massacre. The falafel tasted like those rather tasteless and unspectacular billo falafel that you can find in many kebab shops, but they were perfectly fried.
The fries also had exactly the right consistency, were well salted and were a bit thinner, but very tasty. I had nothing to complain about here, except that I have to get into the habit of specifically ordering a small portion at a new kebab shop or at least taking a closer look. At my regular kebab shop, a french fry is just a french fry. There are two sizes here and large is the family size, which I didn't come close to making, but at €7 it cost accordingly. A small portion is easily enough if it is to be a side dish. I had curry as a sauce. It was pleasantly fruity.
Overall, I was happy with Food Connection and if you're in the area you can definitely grab a kebab here.
We were there for the first time this afternoon and were very satisfied.
Nice staff and very good food at a fair price. Nicely prepared and completely sufficient portion size. We will definitely come back - highly recommended 👍🥰
I got a kebab to take away.
8 minutes later still warm. The ingredients were crunchy and juicy. Crispy bread, delicious meat and great sauces. Will come again
My absolute favorite kebab shop, simply for the following reasons:
- Food great
- Service likes to remember what you want on it
- Service likes to talk to you
Despite all the reasons, there is one thing that bothers me and that is the ambience. You could definitely put more money into the ambience because it looks rather unappetizing to eat there.
Otherwise perfect, that's why I give it 5 stars!!!
P.s. Thanks for the food!!!
The problem is the audience. Everyone is Rockefeller, everyone is beautiful and rich... of course that's not the case... leasing vehicles adorn the parking lot, the residents avoid this place... 20 years ago club thought and flair prevailed here... .the food is ok, the service too......but there are better addresses. More for golfers who have nothing else
