Eating a giant currywurst here is a must! It's delicious with fried potatoes or fries.

A bit hidden away, but easily accessible in Hennigsdorf, it serves good, home-style German cuisine. Dine in the garden or in the nostalgically decorated dining car.

A lovely, rustic restaurant. A fantastic S-Bahn carriage, also decorated in a historic style. The food and the owner are simply excellent.

Open even if the sign says otherwise. A restaurant with a beer garden and a dining car. A manageable menu with reasonable prices. The food was freshly cooked, and the fried potatoes were perfectly cooked and freshly made. The beer was good, and a 0.5l for under €5 is a rare find.

Small but perfectly formed. Moderate prices for delicious food. You'll need to be prepared, though, since the waiter is the chef, so it takes a while. But it's worth it. Plus, the menu is small, so you can decide quickly.

Something completely different! An S-Bahn wagon converted into a snack restaurant. Mr. Hoppe is a super nice waitress and at the same time a great cook - we really enjoyed the food, especially the farmer's breakfast! 😊 The prices are totally affordable. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it!

Well, it works that way, it's not expensive, but it takes almost an hour to eat. I think the chef is also the service force, that it's not enough for the number of places there are. Schnitzel was OK, fries too little salt and the mushrooms Oh well

Hier sitzt man gut, der Wirt hat immer einen flotten Spruch auf den Lippen. Das Essen ist handgemacht und vom Wirt zu bereitet. Deshalb muss man auch immer genug Zeit mitbringen.

Had such a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the train was interesting to learn more about. The Hamburger Schnitzel and Kartoffelpuffer are my top recommendations. We came from Berlin Mitte and are so glad we did.

Det is een janz besondra Ort. Janz entspannt neben nem alten S-Bahn Waggon ne Currywurst oder wat anderes jenieeßen und ne kalte Faßbrause schlürfen. Und dann auch noch jünstige Preise. Allet jut.

Ein Highlight. Als S-Bahnfan der "alten"DDR Waggons ein Muß. Kindheitserinnerungen werden wach. Auch die Speisen und Getränke sind gut. Und die freundliche Bedienung tut das übrige. Also hinfahren!!!
