Don't let the good reviews fool you. The place may have been good a year ago. Today I waited two hours in a nearly empty shop for the worst burger I've ever eaten. The service is nice, but what's going on in the kitchen must be a nightmare. Two hours for a dry, fried, and disgusting burger. I would have loved to eat what you see in the pictures...

My personal impression is far from the previous, predominantly good to very good reviews: The service staff are very sharp, approachable, and very friendly. Unfortunately, that's almost the only positive thing. All the draft beers tasted stale and weren't sufficiently chilled. The appetizers (solyanka and spiced meat) were okay. The main course was disappointing: fried potatoes without any zest and a schnitzel that, in my opinion, wasn't freshly made. Frozen? The portions were, in my opinion, too small. - These weren't at all commensurate with the steep prices. The interior is also disappointing: carelessly furnished, not original, and probably painted in a sloppy way a long time ago. The same can be seen outside. Weeds everywhere, piles of trash with the remains of long-gone parties. - This urgently needs to be addressed!

Wow, great place, cool bar, we thought. But then came the beer. We were there as a group. They served different types. None of the beers were tasty. There was no fizz, and the beers tasted watery. Oh well. We switched to mixed drinks. That was okay. Then came the schnitzel and the burgers. None of them were handmade. The worst burger we've ever eaten. Upon closer inspection, the ambiance was dusty. Spiders were rappelling from the ceilings in the restrooms. From the table, you could watch the staff, who didn't look like restaurant staff, happily swigging their "shorts." So, pay quickly and get out of here. Goodbye, never to return.

I can not say enough good things about this place. The food was unbelievable. Beautiful presentation. The owners / chef were wonderful people and made us spaetzle which wasn't on the seasonal menu. If you're in Potsdam, you MUST try this place.

It was incredibly beautiful there and we were immediately warmly welcomed. Lars' food was very tasty and Kathi the owner was extremely loving and super friendly to all her guests. I can recommend the signal box with a clear conscience and am already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you very much for the incredibly nice hospitality 🙏

The burgers, which were so highly praised on the Internet, attracted us to this "signal box" with high expectations. However, these announcements are out of date. The current menu only offers a manageable selection. Including just a beef burger. We stayed anyway. The service was extremely nice, which gave us hope... But that's the only good thing we can report. We ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes and two types of cabbage wraps. The fried potatoes turned out to be flimsy potato wedges, which were piled high with parsley and hidden under the schnitzel. The schnitzel was ok, but was unnecessarily smeared with cranberries. When we think of fried potatoes, we imagine something different. The cabbage wraps (one wrapped with white cabbage and one with red cabbage) an attempt at a modern interpretation... served in a deep plate on a mix of raw vegetable salad. Nice try; no more. The classic version: cabbage roulade served with boiled potatoes and gravy and described as home-style cooking would be more convincing. In summary, we have to say: the friendly service deserved its tip, the food (at least what we ordered) wasn't worth coming - it's a shame our expectations weren't met. :-(

...well, we love coming here, and I know why. The chef and his ideas are fully developed, the manager is simply lovely, and all in all, this restaurant is a place worth returning to.

A super nice team! Christmas party was very successful again. The food is great, the guys in the kitchen live their job. Everything is fresh, very imaginative and lovingly made. Simply recommended without exception.

A smaller selection of dishes but still sufficient. This makes it easier to specialize in individual dishes. The food was extremely tasty and the service was great!!

We wanted to eat there yesterday, but the entrance area stopped us. Cobwebs and dirt in the entrance area. Don't the employees actually go in there themselves?

On Friday evening we spontaneously came by around 9 p.m. with around 20 people and a very friendly and organized employee was waiting for us. The food was great, we had beef burgers and schnitzel with fries. Drinks came quickly and in the end the evening was good value for money. The tip was deserved.

Unexpected things often happen. We were on the way home when we got hungry. So we got off the highway and looked for something small to eat. The restaurant is very cozy and rustically furnished. The boss is super nice and gave us a warm welcome. The menu is short and concise, but straight and modern. The food was super delicious. You can taste the love of cooking with every bite. We'd love to come back.

Great class! Chef Lars conjures up an incredibly delicious little work of art from a simple chicken fricassee (see photo). Food handmade, full of love, expertise and fresh ingredients at a fair price. Cozy atmosphere, super nice service. Even the chicken nuggets with fries for the little ones were delicious and homemade. Full points.

Quality of food very good. Drinks also very good. If you still have a pool table, I'll be a regular customer 😁

The hamburger "classic" was by far the best in a long time, schnitzel and schnitzel au four were very tasty! If you want to enjoy a Kaiserschmarrn in a different way, I can only say that it is the best!!!! Keep it up dear signal box!!! When we are back in Potsdam, we will come back! We were greeted in a very friendly manner and that's exactly how things continued. Very courteous service, the food (we had burgers and schnitzel) was very tasty, nicely prepared and a good size. Completely satisfied and recommended.

We felt very comfortable, especially from a human perspective.... Food was great! The chef even came to the table in person... Top value for money... so we can only recommend it... but you should call in advance, the signal box also organizes celebrations... it can sometimes happen that a closed event takes place 😊

The burger with apples was one of the tastiest burgers I ever tried🤩 The place is very cozy, the service is excellent. The only one problem for me was that it is hard to sit inside for those people who cannot tolerate cigarette smoke 😢

The last time it was closed on the weekend, and also closed on May Day, nothing inviting... well, if you don't have to earn anything... the opening times have never been confirmed online, they're just terrible And what a shame

A gem in Golm, delicious, sophisticated cuisine with great attention to detail. Leave some room for the Kaiserschmarrn as dessert. Pure enjoyment. This makes eating out fun. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

Family at a high level I was a guest at a brunch and had the chance to try a variety of different dishes. First of all: The eye already enjoys the presentation of the plate and immediately sees something great when you look at it. Tasting: However, I was more than pleasantly surprised that the abundance of so many different flavors, which seemed to be combined with a playful simplicity, led to such an outstanding taste experience. Ambiance: Relaxed, informal and familiar atmosphere... being a guest with friends. It was definitely not the last time I was your guest.

Top restaurant. We were there unannounced with 9 people, and tables were pushed together so we could eat and drink together. The food was very tasty and definitely homemade. The short menu consists of good dishes that take a little longer, but that's because everything is made very fresh. And you can taste it too. The conditions were very accommodating and very friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. If we were from the region, we would definitely be there more often. Definitely recommended.

Schickes Ambiente, herzliche Menschen, super Essen und beste Getränke!

Lecker ist das Essen ja, aber ich wurde nicht satt. Ein Burger für fast 15 Euro, aber nicht zufrieden. 2 dünne Schnitzel dazu ein Mini- Salat, aber keine Beilage. Und wieder das Gefühl, da fehlt was. Alles in allem eine nette Location mit aufmerksamer Wirtin, aber über die Speisekarte und die Preise sollte man noch mal nachdenken.

Das Stellwerk ist ein außergewöhnliches Gebäude mit viel Geschichte. Toll das es nun ein tolles Restaurant ist. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder. 🤗

Kleineres Lokal mit wirklich gutem Essen. Vernünftige Portionen, optisch ansprechend serviert. Geschmacklich waren wir sehr zufrieden. Genug (nicht zuviel) Auswahl auf der Karte. Sehr freundliche Service Mitarbeiterin.

Ganz selten so ein leckeres Essen bekommen und der Service auch eine 1+ alle Angestellten sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Köche auch sehr nett. Einfach perfekt. Alles sehr sauber nirgendwo ein Staubkorn gesehen.

Derzeitig wohl noch ne Baustelle. Zum Garten darf man nicht direkt, sondern nur über Ausgang und Bahnhofsvorplatz. Bardame:"DAS IST PRIVATGELÄNDE" Auf kurzem Wege wäre da ein großer Aschenbecher und eine Mülltonne im Wege. Der Chef will wohl auch ein schönes Pausenplätzchen haben. Naja Freundlichkeit muss wohl noch etwas ausgefeilt werden.

Kreative und einzigartige Küche …es schmeckt mega lecker,frisch zubereitet und eine Explosion im Gaumen.Heute war unser 2.Besuch innerhalb einer Woche und wir können nur schwärmen….Dankeschön für so viel Gastfreundlichkeit .Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sind zum Abendessen das erste Mal im Stellwerk gewesen. Haben Würzfleisch , Käsespätzle , Spargelburger und Steak mit Würzfleisch gegessen. Alle Gerichte waren der HAMMER. Schöne Portionen, geschmacklich kann man das nicht besser macht. Von mir aus, 6 von 5 Punkte! Gratulation.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Lokal ! Der Service ist herausragend und das Essen sehr, sehr zu empfehlen! Hier ist nicht nur der Geschmack großartig, auch die Anrichtung der Speisen ist ein Hingucker! Ich gehe gern dort hin und kann es jedem nur empfehlen!

Sehr lecker und sehr freundliche Bedienung

Wir haben reserviert für acht Personen. Wir wurden von der Chefin persönlich bedient, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ging alles flott und das Essen war echt lecker. Die Stühle sind unbequem und dem Ambiente fehl es etwas an Gemütlichkeit.

Danke! Endlich ein gemütlicher Ort für ein Bierchen (...) in Golm. Wurden sehr herzlich bedient, Rippchen und Schnitzel waren auch lecker.

Endlich hat Golm wieder eine Kneipe! Superfreundlich, gutes Bier und tolles Ambiente. Ein sehr schöner Abend.
